OK maybe not what you'd think for a date night, but the food is reliably good. Their sushi and kimchee are superb! There is always salmon and shrimp dishes on the menu. At Dinner and in season, they include crawfish. We have been customers here for 25 years, and we keep coming back!

Ok here we go! The food is tasty and not as warm as I would like or expect. The price is however EXCELLENT. 4 of us for the lunch buffet was under 60 bucks. Service was acceptable and attentive. Atmosphere could be a bit better but then again it is priced right. It is a family run operation and local so it deserves your support.

My favorite thing at hunan wok hands is the bourbon chicken from the buffet. The atmosphere is ok but the inside is starting to show its age. The service is hit or miss. Sometimes it's really spot on and other times I'm lucky to get a refill of my fluid of choice. They do allow for take out and you can actually order from a menu but the buffet is the bread and butter of the business.

I'm not a fan of buffets, but my hubby wanted to go to Hunan Wok. They had a wonderful display of Asian cuisine. I love hot & sour soup, Hunan Wok had the one of the best hot & sour soups I've had. Their lo mein was very tasty as were their green beans. Beef and broccoli- beef was so tender and tasty. Great display of tasty desserts. I will be back - Yum!!

This used to be my go to place for lunch when I am starving. They had Chinese buns / Bao and I love their Mongolian bbq. They got rid of both and raised their price

Menu - Feb 2021: The real gem of this buffet is actually their expanded takeout options.

The dessert bar wasn't great but I had some mandarin oranges with marshmallows in some form of ambrosia and it was very tasty.

They've got the roast meats, a large Chinese dinner menu, an equally large Vietnamese dinner menu, catering for events, and my favorite: their dimsum menu. For their regular menu, my family and I will frequently order to go and occasionally dine in. We often order off the Chinese menu when we're going family style (flat noodles, salt & pepper squid, egg noodle lo mein, and scallion chicken are some of our favorites), and we will order from the Viet menu for individual portions (we love their egg noodle soups, pho, broken rice platters). One of my favorite dishes is their lotus root summer salad, and I've not found another place that beats that dish here! I've found their service with regular dining in to be hit or miss. Most of the time we get great service but a few times here and there we have a hard time finding our server. Moving on to my favorite part of Golden Phoenix- the dimsum. They serve dimsum primarily on the weekends from opening to 3pm (I think), and they have really brought up the OKC dimsum game with their large and delicious dimsum menu! Their dumplings like the hargow and shiumai are large, filling, and delicious! I particularly love the fried shrimp and chives dumpling and their shrimp egg rolls. The service during dimsum is fantastic because they've got people pushing around carts and carrying plates of food out to you. Once you're ready for dessert, make sure you grab some egg tarts for the table!

I looked at the reviews and everything told me they are as good as they claim, without being "Breaking The Bank Account." The online services are good. Ordered meals for a robust two person dinner for home, because we just wanted to eat at home after a long busy day at work. Nothing fancy, just a comfort meal in bed while watching a Rom-com Movie and enjoying our beautiful dinner. I for one absolutely LOVE Curry Chicken over white rice. The recipe and portions are perfect. So anything you order should be a "Home Run" meal from Grand China! I grew up being able to eat The Original "Jackson Street" San Francisco China Town Center Chinese Food Restaurants. History: San Francisco China Town is the original destination for Millions of Chinese Immigrants who came to America directly from China to work on The Trans-Continental Railroad in the early 19th Century. If you ever watched Bruce Lee's Movies, he shows you a lot about SF China Town's history. Point being, SF China Town set the food quality benchmark ever since they arrived to provide labor for the railroads buildup across America in the early 19th Century. Grand China exceeds that SF China Town Benchmark and you won't be disappointed. Good Day

Normally, as I stated, I only get chicken from a place that gives me chunks of fried or battered chicken. I made the mistake of getting Kung Pao chicken from Grand China. How anyone could stomach this is beyond me. It was horrible. No flavor, no spice. Way too many peanuts and vegetables. I had to leave this review. Luckiky I also got my normal Sezchuan Pork so at least I have something to eat. Never again will I get chicken from here. Honestly, I have no idea how many of you eat chicken from Chinese restaurants. It's disgusting.
