Sue and her team have done an amazing job with this new brewery. Quality indoor and outdoor ambiance with 2 bars, plenty of TVs to watch sports, variety of brews, cocktails, and food. Fantastic experience at what seems to be a new restaurant. We tried the flight of brews and two others, all of which were tasty. The grilled cheese and tacos are phenomenal, and the chicken sandwich is also really good although I think I could've done without the sauce. I have mixed feelings about this place. I love it because it's a great hidden brewery located by the freeway that serves amazing food and beer. However, I also hate it because it's on the 6th mile of my 7-mile run, and I'm usually tempted to stop there for some extra hydration and electrolytes, which usually means an IPA. Great beer! I believe my favorite was the solar flower! Nice big dog friendly patio, TV's face the outside as well as the bar so you can watch the game which is great. Honestly, this alone is enough to get me to visit again, however the food is the star! The Poke with chips appetizer dish was AMAZING. Seriously delicious! We actually came back twice just for the poke dish!! We also had the pretzel sticks were everything you want in a freshly backed pretzel and tasty cheese dip. My wife also tried the salad with chicken and it was filling and very good. We basically would have come back a third time if were in Tempe longer. Do yourself a favor and visit this place. This is a cool brewery located off the 202 and Scottsdale road tucked behind a hotel. I ordered a Todd is Old Fashioned drink to start with. I loved the hint of clove and cardamom which is a great twist to a traditional Old Fashion. For food I had to get the grilled cheese, with fries and their dill ranch, and then devoured every last morsel. The rustic bread was so delicious with the pancetta, brie, and goat cheese and the apple pear compote. This is a flavorful grilled cheese that will satisfy that craving. I already want more. We ordered the brussels sprouts and woo wee it was delicious, and it has a lil kick if heat. No complaints as we licked the plate clean. For the end of dinner drink we shared a Old Peach cocktail which the awesome bar manager Braydon house infused the Peach Bourbon! The brown sugar and delicate peach paired fantastic with the bourbon. Great food with a great vibe. 100mi Brewing has a great design. It's old warehouse meets Scandinavian design. Blond wood tables and chairs, bright white brick walls, exposed truss ceiling, and the stainless steel brewing vats are out in the open at one end. Their waiting area is fitted with some stylish couches and chairs. It is open and airy and they also have an outdoor patio. 'The future looks bright' is the vibe here. I'm not sure if they dim the lights later in the evening, we were there at 6PM. Tableware is also stylish and bright. Flat white ceramic plates and crisp glasses, almost scientific. It's a culinary, brewing lab in an old brick warehouse. Together it generates a crisp, clean, modern European feel. The staff are all eager and helpful. They have only been open a few days so still getting systems worked out, but high quality servers. The food is meticulously prepared. I had the 100mi Burger. The patty is made with Brisket and Short Ribs. Wow. That is a great burger patty. The menu is not clear that it is a burger patty, but it is. One of the best slabs of hamburger (if you can call it that) you will ever have. It comes with BBQ sauce, which I got on the side (not big on experimenting with sauces). The BBQ sauce is not run-of-the-mill. It tastes like a mix of steak sauce and BBQ sauce. Not my thang. I'm a BBQ traditionalist. The fries are top shelf. Crispy with tender potato on the inside. Someone else in my party had the other burger, also said it was good. Someone else had the grill cheese. Again, a little too out there for me (I tried a bite), but the person who had it loved it. The appies were also good. Had the cheese curds and Pretzels. Cheese curds were small bites of cheese with a light coating and some herbs. Quite good. The Pretzels were nice and soft. Maybe too soft. I think a pretzel should have a little bit of substance. Also ever so slightly salty, but what pretzel isn't. Both appies came with dips. The cheese came with a gravy style sauce. A little too poutine for me. The pretzels came with a mustard sauce and also something else. Again. Pretzel traditionalist here. I love me a Provalone cheese sauce with pretzels. The place is not cheap, but in line with its quality, but it's very close to Tempe town lake so nice location to walk around. Overall, the food is a bit too experimental for my rather plebeian taste, but overall, high quality. If this wasn't so far from home (30 min +) I'd come back regularly. read more

My partner and I love breweries & brew pubs, so when we noticed this place come up on the map, we decided to give it a try. We went in on a Friday night and we were pleasantly surprised to find it not super busy; after eating here and drinking the beer, I'm convinced the only reason why it wasn't busy is because it's not even a year old and it's tucked away from the main road! We each got flights with some overlap, we're NE IPA people - so for us the Spirit Animal was an EASY new favorite. Other honorable mentions include the Blonde Ale, Amber Ale, Wit Beir ("Wit my Pants"). There were also some misses, but I commend these guys on not trying to do anything fancy/over the top to be "different." Ambiance was great, clean casual interior with board games inside and a nice outdoor patio with connect four and some turf for a Biergarten. Staff was super chill and friendly as well! Would be a great place for a lowkey group hangout with all the game choices. Also two bars is a clutch move to keep from getting backed up. Food was great as well! I got the brewers burger which came cooked perfectly and everything was delicious. Boyfriend got the fried chicken sandwich and it was MASSIVE, confirmed delicious. We were here for an event, so only tried one of the appetizers provided, but it was really good. All the food I saw being brought out looked tasty! We have been here twice now. First time was for the soft opening. We started with the chips and salsa. The salsa seemed standard at first, but the aftertaste kicked in and had great flavor. Not hot, not tangy...just delicious. Then I had the wings - they are HUGE. My only complaint is that the tin of ranch is too small to dip the giant wings in. There were only drummies, but I don't know if that was be design or just what I happened to get. That's not a bad thing, but it can be a very good thing if you prefer drummies. I will definitely order them again. My husband had the grilled cheese with fries. Holy crap the fries are amazing. Crispy and coated in something - a light breading maybe? He loved the sandwich, but keep in mind it's definitely not a "traditional" grilled cheese. We drank mimosas and the pour was generous. Came back the next weekend and had mimosas and some wine. Again, generous pours. (We aren't big beer-drinkers, but will definitely taste some of their in-house brews when they become available.) We ordered the chips along with the beer cheese dip and the dill peppered ranch. The cheese was more of a sauce and a bit thin - not my personal favorite but it did have good flavor. The ranch was really tasty. (If you are curious, it's a dill herb sort of flavor - not a dill pickle-ish flavor. Not that dill pickle dip would be bad!) Then I had the tacos. They are not small street tacos...they are full sized. And plenty of shredded beef inside. YUM. My husband had the fried chicken sandwich. He actually let me have a bite and it was also very tasty. Chicken thighs are an interesting choice, but so flavorful. Again, those FRIES. Yum. The rest of the menu looks very good and we can't wait to try more!! read more

This is a nice place in Tempe to grab a beer before or after an ASU event. There's plenty of parking and the building has a nice, open floorplan. We sat at the bar and had a couple of their own beers. The Infinite Coyote IPA was my favorite. This place has only been open two weeks and I wish nothing but success for it. Great location, awesome staff and the space is perfect. They have a wonderful patio (pup friendly) with Adirondack chairs, corn hole, connect four and Jenga. Patio is heated and they have a basket of blankets if needed. Indoor is huge with two full service bars. They have a selection of local beers and of course their own. We had their hazy IPA & Pilsner, both delicious. We shared the Hundred Mile Burger with fries as well as chips and salsa. We capped it off with the Todd is Old Fashioned and Smoked Cherry Old Fashioned. I've found myself in the Phoenix/ Tempe area twice now, and this was my only repeat destination. Both times I have been absolutely blown away by the beer. The Crowd Surfer might be one of my favorite beers ever brewed. The second time I was here I got a flight, and was equally impressed with the Bloodhawk, Roadrunner, and Hey Buddy! Whoever is doing the brewing is doing a stellar job. Both times, I enjoyed the food and had great service, whether at the bar or at a table. The Brewery has a tucked away location that makes for a nice getaway feel, with a cool patio area, and equally as nice inside. A great hidden gem just behind Tempe town lake. We stopped here after a walk by the lake and were pleasantly surprised. Not only is the brewery woman owned but the head brewer is also a woman, we love to see it! As a person who considers beer her hobby, the pale ale did not disappoint! We will definitely be returning. Spectacular new brewery on the North side of Tempe Town Lake. It's squeezed between the Watermark rear parking lot, the freeway, and the hotel. Don't let the odd location dissuade you, it's easy to forget once you walk inside. The dining area is well appointed and it offers a variety of seating options (lounge-style, high tops, bar, table/sit down). This would be an ideal venue for both a dinner party and a date. Overall, 10/10 on the ambiance. We didn't try their food, but everything that passed us looked delicious. Their beer was good, I tried both the pilsner and an IPA.
