Mamba/Lemon pepper wings and Veg hibachi fried rice
    Roylonda B.

This was my last stop before leaving Hotlanta! I wasn't really in the mood to go out my last night, so I scrolled through a long list of restaurants and decided on wings. The name Hungry AF caught my attention--I figured with a name like that, the wings had to be good. The restaurant had a casual sit-down atmosphere with colorful tables and chairs that gave it a fun vibe. I ordered the Mamba Lemon Pepper wings with a side of vegetable hibachi rice. My food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The wings definitely did not disappoint! They were perfectly sauced with just the right balance of lemon pepper flavor. I actually finished every single wing, which is something I almost never do! The vegetable hibachi rice, however, wasn't my favorite. I was expecting a traditional hibachi-style fried rice, but it tasted more like pre-cooked frozen rice. It also had a sweetness that just wasn't for me. I'm glad I gave it a try, but it's probably not something I'd order again. Overall, if you're craving flavorful wings, Hungry AF is worth checking out. The wings were the highlight of the meal and a great way to end my Atlanta food tour!

If you ask what resturant I was most excited about it would be Hungry AF. When I go on trips I looks for resturants to try and this place was reviewed by a youtuber I watch all the time so I was ready. I placed my order online and I waited to leave my hotel when it said the food should be ready. I came in and it was packed. There wasn't any direction on where to go for online orders. I spoke to the lady that was passing out orders and let her know I had an online order and she told me it wasn't ready. I had to wait an additional 15mins for my food. The resturant was very hip and trendy. I got the Hungry AF Combo with Trey Young wings and shrimp pasta and Fruit Punch Peach Lemonade. The Fruit Punch Peach Lemonade taste just like what you think it would a mixture of all those flavors together and it was overally sweet wasn't my favorite. The Trey Young Wings which is a mixture Honey Garlic and Lemon Pepper of it was okay nothing to write home about. The Shrimp Pasta was okay I did feel like it was a little dry and lacked flavor. Pricing was okay for what I got. I do want to try something different because maybe it was a off day or maybe there is something different I need to try.

Hungry AF 27 Piedmont Ave. NE Atlanta, GA 30305 Jerk Chicken Philly Cheesesteak When l I encountered this southern chain restaurant, I was kind of appalled by its name. The two letters imply a term that emphasizes the extent of one's hunger. One of those words is a four letter word. Regardless of this racy restaurant name, I decided to give this place a try. While the fries were cooked well and perfectly seasoned, the sandwich needs improvement. There was a minimal amount of jerk sauce; If I wanted an extra cup of the sauce, there is an up charge. The interior of the restaurant could also use some work. While I appreciate the attempt of providing a wall AC unit, the electric sliding entrance door kept opening and closing. All of the cool air was escaping making the inside feel humid. There are plenty of table top counters with high rise chairs. However, the chairs do not have back support and they are not comfortable. I actually ended up standing while dining. I tried to give this location a chance. While it may appeal to a younger crowd, it definitely did not catch my eye. #hungryaf #atlantaga #jerkchickencheesesteak #hungryafchain

Food was good, didn't care for wings as much. Thought honey lemon pepper flavor would stand out more. The fried rice w/chicken really good. Chicken and shrimp pasta was good hot. Order to go, seating uncomfortable. Service was decent, wait a little long.

While visiting from South Florida, my friends and I stopped here on the way to the State Farm Arena for a concert. We weren't expecting there to be such limited seating. But, we were able to grab a table. The menu looked great and food was ready pretty quickly. While the food looked amazing and tasted okay, none of us were overly excited about our food or plan to return when visiting Atlanta again The Shrimp Hibachi was overly seasoned and the Shrimp Pasta (while seasoned well) was overly sauced... very watery. One of my friends threw her food away after a few bites and ended up walking across the street to try another restaurant... which wasn't any better. This won't be a place we revisit when in town.

Food was delicious and fresh! I enjoyed the pasta it was really hefty, I could not finish it! The service was good, I didn't wait long but I also walked there from Grady. Ambiance is okay - the music was pretty loud, the lobby area was kinda dirty. Food on all the tables, bones from wings. Just felt it could've been wiped down a bit. I would've sat and ate but the tables just weren't clean! The food was delicious though!

The name says it all, and that's exactly what we were (Hungryt AF) one evening when we came back from a day of sports. We walked from our hotel and quickly realized this is the local GSU spot for late-night hunger. Most people placed orders online, but we showed up in person. It was busy, yet our food was ready in about 15 to 20 minutes. I had lemon pepper wings with fries, keeping it classic with a Kool-Aid drink. We also tried the Tray Young sauce (Honey Garlic & lemon Pepper) combo wings with the chicken hibachi rice. I'm not gonna lie, it not only hit the spot but was extremely good. Definitely keeping this on the radar since they have multiple locations around Atlanta. If you're craving wings & more than just fries, this is a spot worth checking out. Next time, I'm doing the Pasta as they have chicken, steak, Rasta and more. I'm all in, even if I'm not "Hungry AF"

    Rasta Chicken Pasta

My first visit here, and unfortunately it didn't live up to the hype. I ordered the Rasta Chicken Pasta, and what I received was dry mush. There was no sauce and the pasta was so overcooked it had broken down into small scraps, almost like the bottom-of-the-pan leftovers that had been sitting and reheated multiple times over several days. The seasoning itself was good, but seasoning can't save pasta that's turned to mush. The chicken was well-seasoned but extremely dry. After checking photos online and on other posts, it was clear that what I received looked nothing like it was supposed to be. Paying $24 plus parking for a dish this disappointing is absurd. "Disappointing" honestly feels like an understatement. I had high hopes for this place, but my experience fell far short.

Every thing is good they respect each other they love on u like there on u the food is a 10/10 ATL ON TOP.

it was a busy day, so that way wing is simply a scheme.

I'm ready for a re-do because the flavors are way too good to let my first impression be my only. I ordered the smash n chicks! The smash burger FIYAAAAA I was surprised at the double patty babe, I didn't even need it.. the pickles, cheese errrrrrytbang GOODT on that! Biggest disappointment I ordered the honey garlic lemon pepper wings WHEWWWW first one raw babe???? hello? I was like do I cry or try the next one???? The service??? we was packed in there like sardines they were so stinkinnnn PACKED!!!! The amount of people were a testament to how good the food was!!! but I ordered online so i waited an extra 10 mins aside from my drive.

    Jerk Chicken Philly sandwich
    Kam M.

Service was okay. Workers looked more like they were ready to take the next order and go home. Jerk Philly sandwich didn't give much of those authentic jerk flavors. Would not get again. As for the honey lemon pepper wings they were okay, nothing spectacular.

I wanted to like this so much. We ordered the salmon pasta with wings, burger with wings/fries, wings/fries, a side of fries, and two drinks. The pasta was cooked right but the sauce had an after taste. The salmon was very overcooked and dry. The wings were fried hard, dry, and small (see photo for size reference to my size 6 1/2 finger), that's overcooked in my opinion but some people like that. The sauces were good. Unfortunately, there was a 15 minute wait to order, and a 40 minute wait to pick up. We waited in our car. When I went inside to make sure they had not called our order, a cashier named Centanna was very nonchalant and "unbothered" by me asking and quickly turned away. Very rude. The cashier who took our order and gave us our food was very nice. They also forgot the fries that came with the 15pc wings. The ambiance is extremely busy and freezing cold with only bar style seating.

We ordered wings for a DragonCon panel and had specialty wings

The Scene Hungry AF has that "pull up and handle business" kind of vibe -- no need for a whole production, just good food that speaks for itself. It's the kind of spot you call when you want a sure thing to feed a crowd. Nothing overly fussy, just straightforward flavor and portions that make people pause mid-conversation. The Service Ordering was smooth and pickup was easy. Staff was friendly and kept things moving, even with plenty of other folks coming through. You can tell they understand timing when it comes to party orders -- the food was hot, fresh, and ready when I arrived. Parting Thoughts I grabbed 40 wings for a gathering and let me tell you -- folks didn't even sit down. They were just standing around the platter, munching, talking, and going back for more. Not a wing was left. I'd definitely order from Hungry AF again next time I'm in Atlanta and need a crowd-pleaser that actually delivers

My flight was delayed in Atlanta, and it was past midnight, so I took a uber to this place,…read moreaccording to ChatGPT's recommendation. The chicken wings were just okay, but the main reason I came was because the place was open so late, making it convenient to try Atlanta's specialties. It was a limited-time experience! Sweet & Sassy Wingz: Their signature flavor. The chicken was over-fried, and the meat was a bit dry. Most importantly, it was coated in a thick layer of sauce, so sweet it was almost too sweet to eat... L. Pepper Wet Wingz: As an Atlanta specialty, this chicken wing was relatively interesting. The initial taste was an intense lemon sourness, almost making you shiver, followed by the warm spicy aroma of black pepper. If the sourness could be toned down, it would be quite good. The chicken wings were still overcooked, and because there was no sauce, the meat was even drier. But I don't know if this is a problem or part of their specialty? Season Friez: Although it was hot, it was already soggy and soft. I consoled myself, "Just grab something quick..." Side Salad: A meatless version of Caesar salad. The bread was so hard I couldn't even stick it in with a fork, but thankfully the lettuce was fairly fresh. Google Maps shows they're open until 3 AM, but they actually don't offer dine-in service after midnight, and the area outside is practically homeless's paradise. Please be careful!

Seat yourself (a bad omen for table service). Bathrooms are pretty mucky but it's a bar... I've actually been pretty surprised by how decent the food is. The burgers are hugeee and quite tasty -- they might seem a little pricy but you truly are getting the full value. Love the fries they use (crinkle fries are gross!!!!). They also offer sweet potato fries although they're rarely fried right. But the wings haven't disappointed me yet. The salad I've had was big and solidly priced, and I usually do not feel that way about salads at bars. It's a plus when you can get a bar salad without the wilt! Dining in leaves much to be desired if you're not at the bar though, and it's HARD to get bar seats. Doesn't matter what time I've walked in, the bar has been packed... which is probably a good indicator that the bartender is awesome. But the table service is a different story. Most servers I've come into contact with have gotten the job done but are completely miserable and monotone while doing it. Be prepared to have to coach your server on pretty much everything you might need. Hell, I've ordered takeout and have still had to chase someone down to get it. Not attentive, but they eventually get the job done LOL. I will say that one time they brought me the wrong sandwich but let me keep it on top of bringing me what I ordered. That's kinda just customer service 101 but I can appreciate the gesture in the sea of unenthusiastic service. I've also participated in the spin-the-wheel after you spend so much... it's a nice touch. I can't speak to drinks yet as I've only had shots via the "spin". I like it but have settled on doing mostly takeout.

It wasn't busy at all on a Wednesday night. Signs indicate that you should seat yourself wherever available and to head to the counter to make your order. I ordered takeout, so I can't speak about the dine-in experience here. FOOD: We ordered a double order of the wings and asked for their two most popular flavors, which were the lemony pepper wet wings and some other flavor (couldn't hear the worker clearly, but just went with it). The order came with fries and a choice between ranch or blue cheese dipping sauce. Maybe I am not used to the flavor profile here, but I found the wings to be excessively salty (and I have a preference for salty food). My tongue is still tingling as I write this review. Also, the lemony pepper wings tasted like they were coated in pure citric acid. The other flavor was drowning in sauce. The wings themselves were so dry that it felt like I was eating chicken jerky. SERVICE: Food came out within ten minutes of us ordering. No frills place, so expect no frills service. No complaints. They have a bag-it-yourself policy. TLDR// This might be the first place to actually convince me that overseasoning is actually a thing. Excessively salty, dry chicken wings that my tongue is still paying the price for.
