This place is going to get very popular! It's only been open since March. The staff were so friendly! Nae was our delightful server The food was delicious! I had the cheesy grits, my hubby had the waffle and fiesta omelet. He said it was very fresh. I tasted everything and thought it all was delish! Only thing I'd change is warmer butter. My cheesy grits were creamy with the perfect amount of cheese. The ambiance is fun and lively with good music and has pretty navy color as their main color. I'd have painted the walls a beige instead as, in person they are grey and feel a little cold. But that's just me! We will definitely be back next time we're in town!

The pancakes were delicious! My husband had the BLT! Both were good and Hasan was very pleasant. We live down the street and will be back!

Visited this establishment on June 19th while I was visiting Atlanta. The restaurant is in walking distance of the Georgia Aquarium. When we arrived there was about a 15min wait so we sat in the waiting area which had a jumbo four in a row and corn hole game. I found that to be a nice addition. Once seated our server was very welcoming and friendly. I had the homemade lemonade which was delicious. We also had the beignets which were absolutely amazing. As my entree I had the catfish and grits which was so delicious. My sister had a waffle with strawberries and whipped cream which she also enjoyed. The restaurant is nice and cozy and family friendly. If I am in town again I will definitely go back.

Had a fabulous meal at this spot today. We went to the aquarium this morning and were looking for a lunch spot, however it was still pretty early (11:00 am) and Breakfast on Luckie Street had good reviews, a diverse menu, and is located across the street from the aquarium. We were pleasantly greeted with a smile as we walked in and were seated right away. The menu was inviting and we were in the mood for brunch fare. We had delicious beignets for the table, the shrimp and grits were outstanding, some of the best I have had in Georgia. And my daughter had the breakfast burrito which was huge. All the food was fresh and piping hot! This was a great meal!

Just go! Service and food were amazing. The price was just right. I predict this place will become very popular and therefore busy, so so while they are fresh!

I found this breakfast place on yelp. Very pleased with our service. And the food was delicious. All the staff was very kind and happy atmosphere. Highly recommend.

The food was amazing but the service was exceptional! We had the Reuben and club sandwich with a side of grits. All was fantastic! BUT what sold me was the beignet and coffee! The coffee was some of the best we had and the beignet was warm and flaky! GO! Best service and best food we've had this week. You will NOT be disappointed!!!

I wish I could give this restaurant 10 Those Beignets and fried Catfish was phenomenal! Absolutely Delicious! Exactly what I needed before a day at the aquarium. The atmosphere was clean, warm and the southern hospitality charm was top notch. Great Service! I'll be back next week with my family for breakfast.

Food atmosphere and service was a strict scale 10/10. Highly recommended! If you are in the downtown Atlanta area definitely stop by this gem.

Food very average, overpriced. Would recommend finding another breakfast spot in the area. Service was friendly, at least.

That said, the aesthetic feels less Buckingham Palace and more whimsical London antique shop -- charming & eclectic. I ordered the blueberry lavender matcha and a breakfast plate. The menu names were definitely on brand, but not quite catchy enough for me to remember them later. Both were solid, though, and hit the spot. Service was a highlight. The cashier really leaned into the accent and took the time to thoroughly explain the menu, which made the whole experience feel more immersive and welcoming. Parking was easy on an early weekday afternoon -- always a win. The space works well for small parties, but be prepared: tables are small and seating is close together. One tip: avoid sitting upstairs in Eden. It's noticeably warmer than the rest of the restaurant, and you'll likely leave smelling like breakfast. Overall, a fun, themed spot with great service. But I don't think I'll be back.

There's a steady traffic of people going in and out. The staff are welcoming and pleasant. I got an iced honey lavender latte with oat milk and slice of the pistachio cardamom cake. The latte was ok but the cake was phenomenal. The latte had a decent flavor but it wasn't strong. Plus it tasted very grainy and milk-heavy, overpowering the coffee. My slice of cake was so moist and delicious without being too sweet. It was perfect. I'd definitely come back again more so for the desserts than the coffee. I sat at the counter cuz I was flying solo and had nice conversations with those next to me. The way the entire building is decorated is completely eye candy and as satisfying as the food. If you like crazy loopy, different kind of stuff. There's a specific coffee shop and small gift shop in the back with social & environmental conscious products. Even have a film development drop off that I guess locals take advantage of cuz where do you go for that anymore other than some kind of chain pharmacy?. I took pictures for my posting but also for myself to consider coming back and shopping another time. Several of the magnets and signs I would love to own. The food is plentiful and flavorful. I had the daily special of Georgia fresh shrimp sauteed on top of homemade sourdough that had a little bit of a French toast crispy to it, topped with roasted tomatoes and spinach and thin crispy onions that were well seasoned. Most the time for lunch you just hope for something that taste good and this was beyond my wildest dreams of what I was going to eat for lunch today. And it was only $10. The burgers, the fried chicken, the fried shrimp, everything was looking so yummy. I totally have to come back. A southern breakfast in every sense of the word!…read more I attended homegrown with a group of friends during a quick trip to Atlanta after a solid night out. I don't think we knew what we were getting ourselves into, but I'm glad we made the decision to come here. Homegrown provides great food and coffee with indoor and outdoor seating great art and a "cozy" (read: crowded) feel. Food: 5/5 The food here was amazing. I just got the standard breakfast with eggs, bacon, toast, and orange juice but those around me had other meals like scrambles and omelettes that smelled amazing. I'm also a big fan of grits was able to taste some from my friend's plate. Service: 4/5 In terms of the food service, our server was extremely nice, but a couple of people in my party had things wrong with their order. We did have a large group though, so I won't put too much stock into that. Ambience: 4/5 When I say this place is crowded, I mean this place is crowded. I won't hold that against them, it's really a testament to how popular their restaurant is with that said, I really do wish they had more seating available. We went during the tail end of the summer, so it was extremely hot outside and eating breakfast out. The wait for a table was well over 30 minutes, so there was no way we were going to also eat our food outside. It was just not feasible without heat stroke. For context we live in the Pacific Northwest. What made up for this was the coffee shop that was connected to the building in the back that served amazing iced coffee to cool us down. Conclusion All in all, I give this place a solid, 4 out of 5 would recommend. Just be prepared to wait if you have more than three people in your party, and try to come early :-)
