East to walk to from my hotel, right across from the Georgia Aquarium. Simple decor, really clean and smells like home cooking. The waiter recommended the fish and grits over chicken and waffle and he was right, it was very good! The fish was fried hard and very seasoned. The grits were the perfect texture and the sauce they add to the top was very savory. I burned my tongue multiple times eating it too fast!

This place is going to get very popular! It's only been open since March. The staff were so friendly! Nae was our delightful server The food was delicious! I had the cheesy grits, my hubby had the waffle and fiesta omelet. He said it was very fresh. I tasted everything and thought it all was delish! Only thing I'd change is warmer butter. My cheesy grits were creamy with the perfect amount of cheese. The ambiance is fun and lively with good music and has pretty navy color as their main color. I'd have painted the walls a beige instead as, in person they are grey and feel a little cold. But that's just me! We will definitely be back next time we're in town!

Visited this establishment on June 19th while I was visiting Atlanta. The restaurant is in walking distance of the Georgia Aquarium. When we arrived there was about a 15min wait so we sat in the waiting area which had a jumbo four in a row and corn hole game. I found that to be a nice addition. Once seated our server was very welcoming and friendly. I had the homemade lemonade which was delicious. We also had the beignets which were absolutely amazing. As my entree I had the catfish and grits which was so delicious. My sister had a waffle with strawberries and whipped cream which she also enjoyed. The restaurant is nice and cozy and family friendly. If I am in town again I will definitely go back.

Just go! Service and food were amazing. The price was just right. I predict this place will become very popular and therefore busy, so so while they are fresh!

Had a fabulous meal at this spot today. We went to the aquarium this morning and were looking for a lunch spot, however it was still pretty early (11:00 am) and Breakfast on Luckie Street had good reviews, a diverse menu, and is located across the street from the aquarium. We were pleasantly greeted with a smile as we walked in and were seated right away. The menu was inviting and we were in the mood for brunch fare. We had delicious beignets for the table, the shrimp and grits were outstanding, some of the best I have had in Georgia. And my daughter had the breakfast burrito which was huge. All the food was fresh and piping hot! This was a great meal!

Food atmosphere and service was a strict scale 10/10. Highly recommended! If you are in the downtown Atlanta area definitely stop by this gem.

I found this breakfast place on yelp. Very pleased with our service. And the food was delicious. All the staff was very kind and happy atmosphere. Highly recommend.

I wish I could give this restaurant 10 Those Beignets and fried Catfish was phenomenal! Absolutely Delicious! Exactly what I needed before a day at the aquarium. The atmosphere was clean, warm and the southern hospitality charm was top notch. Great Service! I'll be back next week with my family for breakfast.

    Shrimp and Grits

The people, that's what makes Breakfast on Luckie Street excellent! We ate breakfast two mornings here, on the second morning we were greeted with smiles and a welcome back. Their coffee, sausage patties and shrimp and grits are delicious. And the beignets, yum! Even if the food was just meh (which it is not) I would come back for the friendly atmosphere.

Between poor food quality, terrible service, and high prices this placed nailed the trifecta for a 1 star review.

We had to make a decision quickly when we were pivoting, and when we came across the great reviews and photos of the food. we didn't think twice about checking to see if we could make it happen. When we arrived, the staff was already preparing our table, so we only had to wait a few minutes before being seated. The space is pretty tight, and you're going to be close to the tables near you, but we were able to sit comfortably. Our server came over quickly to take our drink orders, and afterward she came back to answer any questions. Most of the food was ready at the same time. We appreciated that it came out as it was ready and wasn't left sitting. And everyone enjoyed the food! The only "complaint" one of my friends had was that she thought there was a little too much sauce in her shrimp and grits dish. She felt that the sauce, while it tasted great, overpowered the dish and she would've liked to taste more of the grits flavor. All in all, I'd say we'll likely be back to try something else on the menu.

That said, the aesthetic feels less Buckingham Palace and more whimsical London antique shop -- charming & eclectic. I ordered the blueberry lavender matcha and a breakfast plate. The menu names were definitely on brand, but not quite catchy enough for me to remember them later. Both were solid, though, and hit the spot. Service was a highlight. The cashier really leaned into the accent and took the time to thoroughly explain the menu, which made the whole experience feel more immersive and welcoming. Parking was easy on an early weekday afternoon -- always a win. The space works well for small parties, but be prepared: tables are small and seating is close together. One tip: avoid sitting upstairs in Eden. It's noticeably warmer than the rest of the restaurant, and you'll likely leave smelling like breakfast. Overall, a fun, themed spot with great service. But I don't think I'll be back.

Typically I research and take a peek at the menu, photos, etc. but I didn't this time. Peters Street has ample street parking and a few lots for a fee. Just check the signs before you leave your car. The entry is unassuming because there's so many little places on this street but once you enter you're in another time! The medieval theme is super cool - a Barron greeted us at the door. Seating is casual - find a spot to sit and then order from the digital menu at the door. Orders are taken at the counter but entrees and drinks are brought to your table. The owner Josh was extremely accommodating! He gave us some tastings of coffee, tea and the French toast. 10/10! I personally ordered the Blueberry Matcha and a Bowl (done keto). Everyone's meal looked amazing and not a crumb was left. We left with some of the canned whiskey drinks - Strawberry Whiskey Sour and Kentucky Mule made with bourbon. Josh said best enjoyed mixed together! The photo opps, food, drinks and aesthetics are so good here. Only comment is that the tables are pub or cafe style and best for small groups or just takeover a section like we did. Enjoy!

Oh yeah and when my sister asked for an over easy egg instead of a folded egg, our server Bri said no. For 4 people we paid $140 all together, not bad. One thing I really loved was the photo booth outside in the parking garage--it was such a fun touch and made the visit even more memorable. The only downside was the parking. Unless you're lucky enough to find street parking, you'll have to park in the garage, which wasn't my favorite. Other than that, everything was great. The bartender was incredibly kind and patient, especially since I'm very picky about drinks. She helped me choose one that I ended up loving.
