The 2.9 is criminal! Amazing NYC style pizza! After living in Chicago, my pizza expectations are sky high. They were met here. Think upscale Papa John's. My grandma, and I have ordered from here a few times, and the food is satisfying every time. As a New Yorker, I'm very biased when it comes to NYC pizza, but I really enjoy Hungry Howie's pizza. Each time we've ordered we would also get the Greek salad, and that's been pretty tasty. The cinnamons sticks are also pretty good. I'd like to try some other stuff on the menu next time! read more

My Family have been picking up pizzas from this location for 15 years and it's hands down the best every time. The pizzas are perfectly cooked and so flavorful. I order a pizza from Hungry Howies and was charged for it to be delivered $5.00. I ask the delivery guy if he got the $5.00 his answer was no, I ask him if he used his own vehicle and bought his own gas, he said yes.He said the company keeps the money and the employees are upset about it , but their hands are tied. Ordered from them for the first time today. Ordered two medium pizzas, one with pepperoni and sausage, the other one chicken, bacon, ranch. They put the ranch sauce on the pepperoni and sausage pizza. None on the chicken, bacon, ranch. Therefore making the order wrong. read more

Ok to be fair the pizza was very good however !! I had a debate regarding the price with the cashier and asked to speak with the owner. Chris identified himself as the manager/owner approached and explained to me the pricing. That was ok but when I persisted on asking about the difference in the price vs coupon he became very patronizing and told me to get out. Me and my girlfriend order from here all the time, its right down the road so we've never had anything delivered we just go pick it up. Everytime i've been in there everyones been great ive never had anyone without a smile come to tye counter to ask me if I was there for pickup. The pizza is amazing, and the seasoned crust adds to it. Pizza is always hot always good and ready for my family to eat and enjoy at the house. To be fair the pizza is good but the employees, specifically management/owners, treat their customers with complete disrespect. I order from Howies specifically for the crust seasoning they use and when this seasoning was clearly left off my pizza, I was called a liar because "it was underneath so I just couldn't taste it." If you've ordered Howies before, you know as well as I do that this is a bogus claim as the crust seasoning always goes on top when the pizza is done, not underneath before even cooking. I live in between this store and the Ridge store in both locations delivery range so I will only order from Ridge after this atrocious experience. read more

The owner is cheap! She charges you for each sub sauce packet, even when I asked for no mushrooms, tomatoes, etc. saving her money. Delivery is always an hour even if your are five minutes away on any night. Finally, they don't have my business anymore. read more

I am very disappointed in hungry howies ! I order from them all the time !!!! But this last time was awful! I ordered 3 pizzas and waited over an hour , when the pizzas arrived the one of the pizzas we foleded and half as if it was stuffed in an extra small box then they took it out and put it in the correct size box and my pizza that i order chicken on there was 6 pieces of chicken the size of my pinky toe on a large pizza ! I called to speak with the manager and in the middle of me speaking to him he just stopped talking and handed the phone off to a women who so rudely asked "what do you want" i explains to her what happened and she didn't seem as if it was a big deal then all pissy said she would make new pizzas have them delivered and i have to give back my pizzas that were first delivered said it would probably take 30 min or so . So when we told her we have children and guests over we have waited for an hour for the originally pizzas and now we have to wait at least 30 min if not more that it was a little ridiculous to have to give the pizza back and tell our guests to stop eating . She said yeah if you want new pizza you must give the pizza back if my driver does not have pizzas to talks back to me you will not get the corrected pizza . We then explained that it has been way to long to ask our starving guests and children to wait for new pizza it's not something we can do she then said that's our problem and nothing she can do . The worst service ever! I ordered my pizza at 9 pm on a Sunday ( April 3 2016). The lady which apparently is a manager took my order over the phone. She told me 45 minutes, 10 pm hits and never got my pizza. We called at 10:05 pm and she said it was on it's way. 10:22 pm I call back and tell the lady ( Sue) that the pizza should have been here and that it is past 45 min. I spent 5 minutes arguing with her about how long she said it would take. She was yelling at me and was very rude. It took an hour and a half to get my food and I asked for it for free, the woman who says she is a manager would not give me my food for free and told me she would cancel my order. SHE WAS VERY RUDE AND NASTY. SHE IS SUPPOSE TO BE A MANAGER, WORST MANAGER EVER. SHE WAS YELLING AT ME, NEVER APPOLIGIZED TO ME.
