Parmesan Pete's is an absolute hidden gem in Naples. I ordered the veal chop Parmesan special and it was ginormous and truly to die for. The veal was paper-thin, incredibly tender, and still on the bone. It wasn't overly breaded at all, and it came with a side of pasta that made the portion even more impressive. The amount of cheese on top was perfect--just enough to enhance the dish without overpowering the veal itself. Beyond the food, the restaurant feels genuinely Italian--like being transported straight back to Florence. It's small, intimate, and cozy, with both indoor and outdoor seating options that make the experience even more special. Service here has and never will be a disappointment, you always feel like family! On a previous visit, I tried the lobster mac and cheese, and it was equally delightful and incredibly flavorful. After reading many reviews I decided that I had to try Parmesan Petes. I made a reservation and I was glad I did as it was busy! There was seating inside and outside, it seems more like a casual dining spot but it feels homey and like a great place to have a group dinner/lunch with friends and family. The staff was amazing, very attentive and often checked in on us. WE ordered the carpaccio, mussels, and the scallop linguine and we were blown away. It's been a few years since we have been here - and it truly is a wonderful, neighborhood gem. Upon entering and being quickly seated, we were quickly greeted by our energetic and friendly server who immediately took our drink order (a major plus in my book) and then gave us time to review the menu. We started with a very good truffle honey burrata with a few pieces of sliced hot zucchini and skinless tomatoes. We followed up with a very large and perhaps thickest! chicken parm I've ever had laden with what looked liked a lot of baked cheese (I hesitate to say it was only mozzarella but could be mistaken) with a bitter red sauce and a small dollop of linguine. It was good. We also had a linguine with meat sauce which too was good. We ended with a tartufo of chocolate and vanilla and a ricotta cheesecake. Tartufo was good - ricotta cheesecake not so good. Overall it was what we would call neighborhood fare. Regardless a great neighborhood type spot. I would call the food varied from 3 stars to 3.5 stars but encourage everyone to try. Having a meal at Parmesan Pete's is like being in a New York restaurant, the atmosphere is cozy and just right for sitting down to some delicious Italian food. They also offer a small section for outdoor dining. A recent lunch made me wish we had stopped by a year or two ago. They have both a lunch and dinner menu that is stuffed full of good Italian offerings. Hubs is usually picky about restaurants but he really enjoyed his sandwich, along with the cucumber and chi chi bean salad. After a few bites of that yummy salad, I was regretting not ordering it myself, the flavor was just right. He decided on a sandwich called The Italian, which was large and piled high with meats and sliced cheeses. My choice was the gnocchi pesto and it was delicious! Our server was very good and our food came out quickly. I would have loved to try their eggplant Parmesan, but will definitely order it next time. They have everything from appetizers to deserts along with many classic Italian dishes. This restaurant has tons of good reviews and it's easy to see why. Great little family-owned spot in a strip mall near Vanderbilt Beach and AirPort Pulling Rd. Very small and plan accordingly. In season, you definitely need a reservation! It is very busy. There are tons of pictures of Della Rocca family from NYC. Bring back memories of NYC neighborhood. The service here is always excellent with efficient wait staff and kitchen! We arrived around 4:45 PM and the place is almost full by 5:30! We started off with a red Merlot, sorry, no Chianti tonight. The Arancini was very good with the warm Marinara Sauce. Wife ordered her favorite Chicken Parm and I have the Pork Osso Bucco. The Osso Bucco has a very savory and rich meaty taste from the broth. You can tell they've been slow cooked until the meat is tender and succulent. It is garnished with fried potato gnocchi. This is one of delicious and luxurious meal during the winter night. Chicken Parm is nicely cooked and served with pasta but the portion is huge. She took half home! The menu is diverse and you can find something for everyone! Finally made it to Parmesan Pete's with some friends for an early dinner. When we arrived there was a line of about 20 people waiting for the doors to open at 4:30 PM.. not a minute sooner. The weather was nice so it wasn't a problem. Once the doors opened people drifted in and were seated by the staff. The wait was worth it! Our waiter was prompt, he delivered our menus and water without being asked. The menu is filled with great looking choices and we both ordered the chicken Milanese. It was perfectly prepared sautéed with a light crust and covered with gently seasoned arugula. Portions were enough to bring some home. This neat lunch spot screams old style NYC Italian cafe. . It is located in a strip mall in Naples and exudes an NYC vibe with the decor and ambiance. It is rather small and does get crowded so be aware. Matthew was a great server and even though the place was extremely busy, service did not suffer one bit. My husband had the turkey panini with a cucumber salad and I had the chicken and kale dish. Both were quite tasty. Prices were reasonable for the area . We put our name on the list and went next-door to the Thai sushi place for drinks at the bar because even their bar was completely packed, finally we were seated outside our server. Diego was so nice and informative and professional. The food was absolutely delicious very flavorful and fulfilling. The place was beautifully decorated with portraits of family pictures from the owner. A true gem if you're en Naples and you're craving pasta definitely check these guys out. I went with two friends. We all had the same thing chicken Parm seemed logical that we should have Parmesan at a place called Parmesan Petes. The serving was so big it would be two or three meals for anybody. My only concern was the thickness of the chicken. It was not pounded thin. I prefer thinner than it was. They were very accommodating with my son who is very particular with his food choices. (Aka super picky) The wife had chicken/Prosciutto with spicy sauce. This was our first time at Parmesan Pete's. We had reservations for five. The place seems small and noisy inside but we were seated outside on a perfect weather day so it was lovely. I ordered a glass of wine to start while we perused the menu. The waiter brought bread and focaccia. My son loved the focaccia. I absolutely love octopus so I decided to order the octopus appetizer and beet salad for my meal. Beet salad was fabulous. Beets were perfectly cooked and topped with a ton of creamy goat cheese. The octopus was amazing--I was not disappointed. Son enjoyed his chicken parm which had a generous portion of chicken and husband loved his seafood fra diavlo. We were without water for awhile even though we asked our waiter. However, after I asked at the bar the hostess brought us some. Overall the service was very good. Our server made sure we were well taken care of and never forgotten, even from the patio. We also got to watch a peaceful storm roll in, which added to the experience. Atmosphere - OK. Since we took a table seating outside the restaurant along the sidewalk, I do not have much of a comment regarding the restaurant's atmosphere. I will say that the table and chairs outside are nothing special and cheaply made. Service - Below Average. Our service was disappointing. The server was flippant in his attitude and he was inattentive. As an example, we were virtually done with our meal when our server stopped and said something weird as his way of asking how we liked our meal. It took some time before our meal arrived and so we had finished our glass of wine. When we caught his attention to ask for some more bread, he said "you sure guzzled down that wine!" (without asking if we wanted another glass) Food - Great! This is what saves the restaurant from being a 3 star experience. I had the Carbonara and it was extremely delicious. It was served hot and the sauce was great. I ordered it with the fried egg and it really added to the dish. Stopped by on a Tuesday night and the place was packed and we were lucky enough to get a table outside, especially since inside seemed very noisy. Our server came by quickly and we ordered a glass of wine. There was a nice selection from which to choose and the Chianti I ordered was good. The pour wasn't anything special, so 2 glasses it was!!! They brought some nice bread with dipping sauces. I wish the Italian bread had been warm. The menu is varied, with lots of seafood items, of which I am not a fan. I am a red sauce woman so my choices were limited. I incorrectly read the description of the cavatelli and sausage so when it arrived I was stunned there was no red sauce. They also offer outside seating and are pet friendly. It is on the smaller size but does not feel cramped. This restaurant is very accessible for wheelchairs and walkers. When my family went my grandma had a walker and she felt very comfortable. The atmosphere was very nice and clean. All the staff was very pleasant to talk to. When I called to make the reservation I talked to a young girl named Maria, she was very helpful and kind. It had very good service and everyone was very helpful. They have many food options. I enjoyed how they have different menus for lunch and dinner. When I went with my family I wasn't sure what to order so I asked for a recommendation. The server recommended the chicken-parm, they said it was one of the most popular dishes. It was a large chicken culet toped with melted mozzarella and their homemade red sauce, it also came with a side of complementary pasta. I enjoyed this dish. It was very flavorful and you could tell the sauce was homemade. I have also ordered take out and gotten the Caesar salad with grilled chicken. I liked how they separate the sauce so you can add how much you would like. The portions are a perfect size and it was all very good and I will continue to go. read more

It's a little crowded inside but not uncomfortable and a little on the loud side but that's because the tables are all full. I would not go with a big group but 2-4 people is perfect. I ordered the eggplant Parmesan .. which came out lukewarm at best. The Parmesan that was sprinkled on top didn't melt. When I finished the Parmesan looked like it had just been sprinkled on. On a recommendation, we visited Parmesan Pete's for dinner. When we arrived, the place was packed both inside and out. We opted to dine inside as the outdoor tables were simply on the outside walk of a shopping center. We were seated at our reservation time which was a pleasant surprise given how busy they were. I ordered Veal Scallopini prepared piccata style along with a bowl of Pasta Fagioli soup. The veal was wonderfully flavorful. The piccata presentation nicely enhanced the veal rather than overpowering it as so many piccata servings tend to do. The Pasta Fagioli was a nice start for this perfect meal. My wife enjoyed Linguini Fra Diavolo with shrimp. The shrimp were plentiful and a perfect large size. Her dish was extremely spicy. While she loves spicy food, she will ask to tone it down a bit the next time. We had a new server who did an adequate job but when questioned about the menu replied, "I don't know" to several questions rather than offering to find out the answers. This comment was more of an observation as I was already pretty set with my order but would have liked more information. The inside noise level makes conversation pretty difficult. Came in by myself, and my table was waiting for me. A lot of places would "push" a single to the bar, but I asked for a table, and it was there. Hostess/owner? was very nice and engaging. Waiter great. I asked him not to rush my food, and he understood and the timing was excellent. Had the veal chop Parmesan, I always do, and it never disappoints.
