I am staying at a hotel near by. I ordered using the app and had a complete custom order. My food was prepared and delivered in a very short amount of time. The order was accurate and very delicious. I wouldn't have changed a thing. I would definitely recommend you order a sub. It is basically a calzone but you can get it with pizza toppings or sand which toppings. 3 delivery drivers and 2 hrs is all it took to get a Hungry Howie's pizza. After they FINALLY made the delivery, the manager called to tell us how none of it was their fault. They had no idea where Ernie's Dockside cafe is located - one of the big restaurants along the bayou. I can understand the 1st driver having difficulty. However, they obviously didn't ask the people who lived in the house they delivered to where the marina was ... it was literally right next door. We called to find out where the pizza was. They said the driver couldn't find us; but, they'd send ANOTHER driver out to deliver a fresh order. Eons later ... they called and said this driver couldn't find it. My wife was standing in the parking lot and didn't even see their vehicle come by. The driver never called us for directions. They finally sent someone who knew where we were. When my wife finally calmed down, she called to complain. At every step, it was our fault. They had no concept of taking any responsibility. What happened to customer service? Ordered 2 large pizza's delivered, one with thin and crispy crust with Pep. and Black Olives and the other regular crust with Ham and Mush. After the driver left opened both boxes and found both thin and crispy. Called the store to let them know. I was told that there must have be a communication mix up and that they were sorry. And left with them hanging up. I was expecting a replacement. I really dont like thin and crispy, reminds me of eating cardboard. Hopefully they might get it right next time. We are fans of the green salad and stuff crust pizza. We get a large salad every time we order pizza and the Greek salad is always so fresh with lots of traditional toppings like olives, feta, cucumbers and tomatoes. The service was good. Nothing spectacular but willing to help with a smile. Food was pretty good. I like that they use real mozzarella, and not the fake cheese like the Hut. The flavored crust is where it's at. I got their rewards program so every 6th order of $10 or more, I get a free medium pizza. Not a bad deal for being free. read more

I did it calmly also, so as to not upset them even though it us who were upset...just tell your customers when you make a mistake!!! Overall Howies is a good small chain pizza/wings/subs place to go. I'll be going back. The flavored crust pizza was terrific--I had ranch flavored. I also had the wings, which were also good--I appreciate that they were not greasy or dripping with sauce, but well cooked and flavored. We used to order quite often from HH. But lately their salads have been very lacking. Browned edges on the lettuce and/or wilting.

Ordered pizzas tonight and was TOLD 20 minutes. 30 minutes later made my way up front was told another 20 minutes. Ok. Maybe you should have quoted me 40 minutes in the first place but it's all good I will wait. 25 minutes later after waiting in the parking lot I was told my order wasn't even started and they don't know when they will because it was busy. Ummmmmm ok. You can't tell me when you will cook it??? No the lady said "you can just cancel it" that's the advice I get after my kids have been waiting in the car for an hour? I had the experience of a driver in a van from Howie's that ran my family off the road on John Sims parkway in the rain. very poor reflection on company and service. Went in the store and it was indicated that manager really didn't have any control over drivers.
