We have a tradition, we order pizza the first night at any hotel. We just landed in Myrtle Beach for the weekend and in keeping with tradition, we ordered pizza from Hungry Howie's. This spot was super close to our hotel on S Ocean Boulevard (Coral Beach Resort). We did an online order and it was ready in less than 15 minutes. Quick service and the pizza was pretty good too. I definitely recommend the thin crust! I also recommend looking at their deals. I was bummed we ordered 2 mediums for the same price ($26) as a special they had for 2 XL with Howie bread. The food was amazing. Me and my friends got 2 xl two topping pizza's and Howie bread and it was the best pizza I've had in a long time. The crust was so good. The sauce was amazing and so was the topping's. I highly recommend this pizza place. To beat it all it wasn't expensive at all. Worse place I've been to in a long time. When i ordered i was told it would be 20 minutes but of course that wasn't true. I didn't get my food until an hour later and it was wrong. The lady fixed it but when i got back to the room i noticed that my buttery cheese crust wasnt on there and the bread sticks were cold and dry. The pizza was also dry but i wasnt turning back bc my child was hungry. They seem to value the quantity of customers over the quality of their food bc they continued to take orders w/o fixing them. This big dude just kept throwing orders on the counter like he could careless and didn't even bother to call them out so people were just sitting while their food was ready and getting cold.They need to do better. read more

I'm from Tampa Florida and am very familiar with Hungry Howies. Living in TN now I don't have one around. So my first stop while in MB was here to get the classic pizza sub. It did not disappoint. It is on the greasy side but I love it! It is loaded with pepperoni like I remember too! I look forward to having the pizza while I'm here as their flavored crusts are awesome! We ordered carry out from here about 30 min prior to an NFL game thinking the wait would be longer than usual. We placed the order online and got a promo code for 1 medium, 1-topping pizza for $1 with an online order of $12 or more. We had the 3-cheeser Howie Bread and pizza dipping sauce, 10 boneless BBQ wings with blue cheese, and a medium pepperoni pizza. The total was about $16 with the discount. Overall the food was pretty good. The wings could have been crunchier and the pizza and bread weren't amazing, but overall good. Also the employee who helped us at the register was very friendly. Pizza was good, I had the Asian one and it tasted delicious. I did a Yelp check in and got an order of the Howie bread. I asked if I could get the cinnamon flavored one and it seemed too complicated for the guy at the register to order me the free order of Howie Bread in cinnamon. This was disappointing. Also he asked for help from a male who seemed to be a manager, he didn't seem to care about helping the register guy. We were a big party eating in the restaurant and it was clean, and all of our orders came out in about 15 minutes and were hot and everyone was happy. I think the register guy needed more training and the manager guy should have been more helpful. All in all an OK pizza experience, not really a eat in type of place, but we didn't have cars so it was within walking distance of our timeshare. Wow!! I saw an ad on my hotel key when I checked in and decided to give this place a try. I ordered online and the food got here fast and hot! I got the pepperoni pizza with the $2 add on for stuffed crust and it was DELICIOUS. Way better than the Domino's down the street. Had to order again at 12am since all the stores were closed, and it was even better the second time! Delivery could have been faster but doesn't matter if the food is good! Don't expect your order to be completed when the system says it will. On Thursday and Saturday I placed orders and neither day was it ready as stated. There is always a line of people waiting for their food due to the backlog.
