I see why this place has such a low rating... Seem to be making all the wrong moves. On top of the occasional incorrect pizza or wrong order altogether, they don't even have delivery drivers. They have DoorDash deliver for them in which case they don't even offer secure packaging for DoorDash delivery so your food is going in to some third-party's car. I've had some disgusting people from DoorDash deliver pizza. I'm expecting from a Hungry Howies driver. On top of which they often have to make other stops before yours so if the pizza does arrive correctly, it's arriving cold. I'm done ordering from here.. read more

the pizza I ordered was stale not very appetizing at all. They also put the wrong flavor crust on which made it even worse. I thought little Ceasers was the worst pizza money can buy by not any more. Howies takes the crown for the worst pizza i ever ate- more than half went to the trash. completely ruined the craving I had for pizza that night. read more

Staff was rude I called after waiting 2 hours for our food they laughed at me on the phone when I asked if the food would arrive hot. I was told the online system wasn't working right that's why my order was taking so long. The food was barely warm and tasted weird when it arrived. My son and his friends went in on a half day of school in June.. they were treated well and given a free desert pizza.. as opposed to the McDonald's up the street that won't allow kids to eat inside, I give them (HH) a 5 review. read more

I was disappointed with their new call center in the Philippines - I asked for their special 2 large pizzas with one topping each. And like I've done dozens of times before, I asked for one pizza with cheese and asked for the second pizza to have two toppings. I was told this is possible and that their system didn't allow for this option. I asked to speak to someone at the store and was told that wasn't possible. I went in to order a pizza to be delivered to a student's house to 'tag' him (we are playing an epic tag game) and the lady taking my order was phenomenal and the pizza that was delivered was PERFECT! Ordered a pizza and to pick up. Sat down to eat and half way through the first piece I pull a hair out that is about a foot long!!! Call the store and speak to Brandon the manger. He is completely unapologetic and sounded annoyed more than anything. He did half heartedly offer to remake our pizza but then I asked for it to be delivered for the inconvenience he said no. When I asked why he said he wasn't going to bother with all that. Completely unacceptable way for a manager to handle the situation. My husband ended up calling back and speaking to the store manager who remade the pizza and had it delivered. We also asked for it to be delivered to the side door because our front is blocked and the driver came to the front anyway... so it seems they can't get anything right. I reported them to corporate so we shall see how they handle the situation. read more

I've gotten delivery and pick up from this Hungry Howie's many times. Each experience has been courteous and timely. The pizza is always piping hot, the flavored crust is awesome, the pepperonis crisp up just so, and the dough is airy. If you're lucky you'll get a few pieces with those little air bubble pockets. I tend to hoard these for myself, hehe. Want a little zing? Get the cajun flavored crust. It's delicious, but take an antacid first, the spice has the potential to induce mad heartburn. read more

Everybody who works here acted like kids. The cashier had no idea the deals that I asked for. I waited and waited for long time. Nobody called my name and the pizza was just sitting there... Very disappointed. Ordered pepperoni and half mushroom on large pizza. The pizza maker put the pepperoni on lower "I mean very lower area of the pie "and also with the mushroom ( could barely see mushrooms). There was no items from the top of pizza to 2 inches above the end. What a terrible experience. We are dairy free and brought our own cheese from the grocery store that was sealed, which we have done many times at this location and others around the state. We ordered and paid only to be told after we sat down that the manager refused to make our pizza. They refunded us all but the drinks and we left. We went down the road to Aubrey's who graciously accepted our business. How terribly disappointing for Hungey Howies and the management at this location. Our family will never return. read more

I'm going to start this comment by stating that I had managed a Hungry Howies for three years so this isn't an "impatient" customer review. I get the dynamics. Second time ordering delivery here and it's not the way to go. Our 45 minute wait took an hour and a half. We received cold pizza and a rude delivery person that had nothing but an attitude. Retried the process with another delivery tonigh. Spelled out the full address to the guy on the phone, Andrew. He seemed less than thrilled to be on the phone and was huffing and puffing while I was trying to order. The delivery guy was great though this time. Guess it's a hit or miss. I shouldn't have to spell my address three times to later get a phone call from the driver that they were at a different apartment community in a different zip code. Yay.. Another luke warm pizza. I debated on two stars due to the attitude of the gentlemen on the phone and my previous experience but tonight's driver was great a Pick up is the way to go at this joint. This location is so infuriating. More often than not the wait time they quote of 20 minutes is wrong by half, and 8 out of the last 10 times I've stopped in for a Howie Nowie, they don't have any ready (guaranteed ready between 4-8pm). The pizza quality is decent, but they keep raising the prices and the pizzas are smaller. It's less headache to go to Little Caesars down the road. read more
