My wife and I wanted to get pizza today and we wanted to try somewhere new and local. One place we've wanted to try was closed until August and my wife said she's seen this place and wanted to try it. We got a medium supreme pizza and a cheese bread with garlic butter sauce. The service was cool and I like that you could order your food via text. The food was decent, it's your average run of the mill pizza. We'll keep searching for more local pizza places though. read more

I was sad to see the old Papa Romano's close down, but Sammy's Pizza took its place and is killin it! They make a damn good pizza. We got the heart pizzas on Valentines Day, but have actually ordered from here two more times since then. Their deep dish is great, crisp bottom, but not overly greasy. They also put a balanced amount of toppings, not skimpy, but also not too much. Got the triple cheesebread which was good. Odd thing is the guys. The phone told us they only have one size, when it looks like they have too. The large is ten bucks but it's massive. It's the size of a large pizza. The antipasto salad was not too good. Lettuce was brown and the Italian dressing tasted weird. Also got a big cookie, but it was a bit overdone and burnt on the bottom. Also on another visit I got the regular round with spinach, mushroom, onion, and Alfredo sauce. It was pretty good, worth a try if you're into that. Overall, they make a quality pizza. read more

Great pizza! So glad to have finally tried the pizza here!! So refreshing to get a pizza that has the right ratio of sauce, cheese and toppings! And more importantly the taste is cooked to perfection. The staff is super friendly and greets you with a smile when you walk into the place for your order. The pizza we got was a deep dish. We had red onions on half and plain cheese on the other half with flavored garlic butter crust. The pizza was just dynamite. Super flavorful and the crust was crunchy and yummy just as you'd imagine. Weird experience at last phone order. I was advised that OUR phone number was blocked from future orders??? I had addressed that several orders ago were lacking double cheeses and specialty meat requests. Next order was larger and I gave compliments. No problems...big tip....ALWAYS..loved pizza I had discovered and shared info with friends. Our RECENT order....was told OUR # was blocked?? Talked to manager who said he could "ok" order. Nope...blocked?? After numerous pick up and delivery orders...always with tips?? Are your location pending a closure? WHO would STILL order after being told..as regulars....that OUR # is BLOCKED. Tried this place for the first time tonight. Had a coupon online for the Sammy's Trio: a large two topping with cheese bread and sauce and a two liter for 17.99. Everything was ready and waiting when we got there. The location appears clean. Staff were friendly when we picked up the food. But the food? Very very good. Bread wasn't just bread with cheese, it was seasoned and delicious. The pizza, a simple pepperoni and extra cheese was so good. I am really glad we tried this food. I called the canton location placed a order and paid with my credit card. After 30 minutes they call back and say they can't deliver to Westland that I had to call that location. So I called and Waited another 45 minutes allll for the delivery guy to show up with the wrong order and tell me "oh this is the wrong bag" and got in his car and left. Called the place and worker told me he was a owner and couldn't do anything for me while he hung up in my face. Never again. No customer service. read more

The manger decided to argue with me and make non sense comments instead of fixing the situation. I asked if he is just gonna argue or fix this. He decided to put me on hold and never pickup.
