Before making our way to the Arvada Farmer's Market, we met my mother-in-law at Hunter Bay for much needed coffee! The space is a little makeshift (in that the dishwashing station and other that would usually be behind a wall, is exposed and open) but well laid out and offers a wide variety of seating. We snagged a spot near the entrance, hopped in line to order and waited for our name to be called before enjoying our beverages and pastries. We opted for iced Vietnamese coffees (because YUM) and a house made muffin and cream cheese Danish. The pastries were moist, and the coffee was strong and delicious - just like I like it! Service was friendly and quick - always a plus, especially for a busy coffee shop! I'll easily return here :)

My new favorite coffee shop oh my goodness this spot is super cozy in a very low key area , nice corner location with super friendly staff, the barista kt helped me get the beverage I was looking for with a smile and it was delicious! Good art , good vibes lovely drinks

Lazy, price-gauging, con-artists. $6 bucks for a plain bagel with cream cheese and they didn't even spread the cream cheese on the bagel. Coffee was fine.

Very nice coffee shop in downtown Arvada. Their coffee beans are freshly roasted, ground to perfection and served perfectly. If you just want filtered coffee they serve it up in several roasts -- just help yourself from the hot carafes. There is WiFi and Hunter Bay is a great place to work remotely and do it in a cool environment. Comfortable seating, friendly service, reasonable prices and really good fresh coffee. Well done!

Coffee was good, my husband got a cold brew. We both ordered bagel sandwiches and imo with the bagel competition out there they left something to be desired. I really appreciated you could DIY your sandwich but every single ingredient cost $$ unless you order a plain bagel with nothing on it. Even to add a sauce was extra. It was truly the okayest. But if I'm being fully honest we really only came for a photo op since my son is named Hunter. Service was good. I like the ambiance & that there was a lot of seating and patio seating. There was also local affordable art for sale which is a fun way to pass time while waiting for your dry bagel sandwich. We'll be back I'm sure.

Wow, this is a popular weekday WFH spot. It was super packed 11am on a Friday, and it seems like people really camp out for awhile. Fortunately I found a table at which to enjoy my peppermint oat milk latte and blueberry danish. It would have been more challenging if I visited expecting to find an available electrical outlet for my laptop. The beverage and pastry were both good, and the customer service is absolutely lovely.

Coffee was good. Service was friendly. Atmosphere is relaxed and clean. Food was overpriced. My avocado toast was $7 and it didn't really feel like it was worth it.

This coffee shop is nestled right in the middle of Olde Towne Arvada. It is such an adorable location. They do roast their own coffee. I bought a bag of the Costa Rican blend, and it was fabulous. I come in for iced lattes multiple times during the Archtop Guitar Festival, and they are always a hit. They have a large selection of breakfast too!

Coffee shop in Olde Town Arvada. Got a latte; they didn't have milks besides whole milk (not sure if it was just that day?)- so I ended up sticking with whole mile. My syrup wasn't as strong/sweet of a flavor as I would like. For the price, I was hoping for a little more? Overall, not bad- I think I could see myself back here.

When visiting Old Town Arvada recently I stopped by Hunter Bay Coffee for a cup. I'm familiar with this fantastic brand of coffee from past purchases at Sprouts. They're a Montana based coffee company. Moose Drool is a favorite of mine. Sounds gross according to the name. However, it's a fantastic dark roast that will delight your palate. I didn't stay in Hunter Bay after receiving my coffee. However, while I was inside it had a nice feel to it. There are plenty of tables and chairs to sit at while doing work, reading or socializing with friends. The young lady who took my order was friendly nor did she have an attitude about being at work. After ordering and purchasing my coffee it didn't take long to receive it. I didn't order food during my visit so I can't comment on the quality. Just know that they have baked goods to go with your coffee beverage. I would return here if I'm ever in Old Town Arvada again. It's nice knowing that I have this option for a coffee spot in Arvada. If you've never been or tried Hunter Bay Coffee, stop by sometime. Enjoy!

This is a great local spot with fun music and staff. Lots of food options that are easy and yummy and the drinks are made well.

First impression is a great one. Located in the heart of old town Arvada, the well lit open spaced seating area, emulates a nice vibe. Friendly staff welcome you and the large blackboard behind the counter lists the Hunter Bay Coffees & eats. Upbeat music plays at the right volume for enjoyment while sipping your favorite cup of Joe! I was disappointed not to find any sugar free syrups but the Barista recommended their house made vanilla, while not sugar free, it was not overly sweet. Hey a little shot in my cappuccino and life just got a wee bit sweeter! There is a small island table with a large plastic water jug, napkins and plastic ware. I like the custom wood recliners by the window. One is made from skis in the cool Colorado tradition. There is a nice outdoor seating area if your in the mood for a quite sidewalk Chillaxing time under the umbrella. Nice stop after my train ride from DIA & Union Station. I'll definitely be back!

My friend recommended this little coffee shop as it is one of the local shops in Arvada. It's located in pedestrian walking area at the corner of Olde Wadsworth Blvd and Grandview Ave. There's only street parking around the area. I got the latte with half vanilla and hazelnut syrups. I got charged twice for the syrups ($0.60 each). Understandable since I'm asking for two syrups, so it was okay. Until I took a sip of my coffee. It tasted only of milk and coffee.... SAD. Where's the syrups I paid for? My boyfriend got the white mocha, and it was more flavorful than my drink. My friend said she usually gets their pandan latte but that drink is seasonal only, and we just missed it. Darn it! Cute little coffee shop that definitely should be supported during these times. Wished my drink was a tad better, but it gave me the caffeine boost in the morning!

There is a lovely patio and plenty of seating inside but this is a popular spot for good reason! Service is cheerful and expedient throughout. We started with the Mexican cold brew coffee and it might be the best coffee I have had in the area!! It was OUTSTANDING!!! Get it! It's the perfect blend of cold brew, horchata, sweetened condensed milk and cinnamon and I think I could drink it everyday!! We each ordered a skillet, I had the chili relleno skillet with chicken and pancakes for the side and they must be putting magic in those pancakes because they were special. I'm not a big pancake person and I couldn't get enough. They were fluffy and yet they didn't fall apart and I could taste the vanilla they use in the batter. The skillet was massive and delicious and the rellenos were crisp all topped with a hearty portion of expertly prepared green chili. My husband had a different skillet and modified it to add extra proteins and also the rellenos. They were happy to accommodate. What a fabulous brunch experience! I wish I lived closer! Testament to good restaurant and popular neighborhood. This is a brunch spot so come ready for breakfast and/or lunch grub. We were hungry and tried a bunch. The drip coffee & lattes were delicious (oat milk is available) and come in cute animal cups. We started with 2 of the sausage rolls which are akin to pigs in a blanket but much higher quality sausage in puff pastry served with syrup. Very good but nothing extraordinary. The small bite star is the spicy egg salad on crispy potato. These are divine with just enough spice to balance the creamy egg salad and insanely crunchy and delicious fried potato (like crispy rice but potato) We also shared a muffin of the day which rotates flavors. It was spectacular. The mortadella Sammy was fried and filling with a berry jam, cheese and egg. I had the egg over medium and it was messy in the best way. This is a sandwich to have extra napkins for. I'd 100% recommend it. The avocado toast was tasty and came with poached eggs (you can order one or two). Great food, service and vibes. Note there is a 20% service charge that is separate from tip, Our server did explain it when we first sat down so it wasn't hidden.

I ordered the Pork Belly Jalapeno Benny and my son o the classic (eggs, meat, potatoes). Here is the complaint. We waited about 30 minutes for our food. We were not in a huge rush, but did have somewhere to be so this was not great. We specifically went here figuring a place that gets as busy as this would be able to push out food pretty quickly during slow times. We were wrong. The wait was way too long for two people. The star is knocked off for how long we had to wait. The waitress was great, but have to knock of a service star for food time waiting as it was way too long. Now, I try to hate this place, and the food wait was not a great look, but the food itself turned my review around. The pork belly jalapeno benny was AWESOME. Like, really good. Super tasty and flavorful. I really enjoyed it and it will make it hard to explore the menu knowing I can order that benny and be super happy with it. My sons order was very standard, and he enjoyed it. No complaints on his end. Other than an overly long wait for our food, the experience was great. We live nearby, and we will be back.
