Before making our way to the Arvada Farmer's Market, we met my mother-in-law at Hunter Bay for much needed coffee! The space is a little makeshift (in that the dishwashing station and other that would usually be behind a wall, is exposed and open) but well laid out and offers a wide variety of seating. We snagged a spot near the entrance, hopped in line to order and waited for our name to be called before enjoying our beverages and pastries. We opted for iced Vietnamese coffees (because YUM) and a house made muffin and cream cheese Danish. The pastries were moist, and the coffee was strong and delicious - just like I like it! Service was friendly and quick - always a plus, especially for a busy coffee shop! I'll easily return here :)

Love their Amaretto syrup bc it reminds me of sweet almond in my latte. Very artsy, friendly barista, comfy atmosphere. I love how they give away free art & post so much poster try to be a community activities hub here in Old Town Arvada.

Very nice coffee shop in downtown Arvada. Their coffee beans are freshly roasted, ground to perfection and served perfectly. If you just want filtered coffee they serve it up in several roasts -- just help yourself from the hot carafes. There is WiFi and Hunter Bay is a great place to work remotely and do it in a cool environment. Comfortable seating, friendly service, reasonable prices and really good fresh coffee. Well done!

Lazy, price-gauging, con-artists. $6 bucks for a plain bagel with cream cheese and they didn't even spread the cream cheese on the bagel. Coffee was fine.

Coffee was good, my husband got a cold brew. We both ordered bagel sandwiches and imo with the bagel competition out there they left something to be desired. I really appreciated you could DIY your sandwich but every single ingredient cost $$ unless you order a plain bagel with nothing on it. Even to add a sauce was extra. It was truly the okayest. But if I'm being fully honest we really only came for a photo op since my son is named Hunter. Service was good. I like the ambiance & that there was a lot of seating and patio seating. There was also local affordable art for sale which is a fun way to pass time while waiting for your dry bagel sandwich. We'll be back I'm sure.

Wow, this is a popular weekday WFH spot. It was super packed 11am on a Friday, and it seems like people really camp out for awhile. Fortunately I found a table at which to enjoy my peppermint oat milk latte and blueberry danish. It would have been more challenging if I visited expecting to find an available electrical outlet for my laptop. The beverage and pastry were both good, and the customer service is absolutely lovely.

Coffee was good. Service was friendly. Atmosphere is relaxed and clean. Food was overpriced. My avocado toast was $7 and it didn't really feel like it was worth it.

This coffee shop is nestled right in the middle of Olde Towne Arvada. It is such an adorable location. They do roast their own coffee. I bought a bag of the Costa Rican blend, and it was fabulous. I come in for iced lattes multiple times during the Archtop Guitar Festival, and they are always a hit. They have a large selection of breakfast too!

Coffee shop in Olde Town Arvada. Got a latte; they didn't have milks besides whole milk (not sure if it was just that day?)- so I ended up sticking with whole mile. My syrup wasn't as strong/sweet of a flavor as I would like. For the price, I was hoping for a little more? Overall, not bad- I think I could see myself back here.

When visiting Old Town Arvada recently I stopped by Hunter Bay Coffee for a cup. I'm familiar with this fantastic brand of coffee from past purchases at Sprouts. They're a Montana based coffee company. Moose Drool is a favorite of mine. Sounds gross according to the name. However, it's a fantastic dark roast that will delight your palate. I didn't stay in Hunter Bay after receiving my coffee. However, while I was inside it had a nice feel to it. There are plenty of tables and chairs to sit at while doing work, reading or socializing with friends. The young lady who took my order was friendly nor did she have an attitude about being at work. After ordering and purchasing my coffee it didn't take long to receive it. I didn't order food during my visit so I can't comment on the quality. Just know that they have baked goods to go with your coffee beverage. I would return here if I'm ever in Old Town Arvada again. It's nice knowing that I have this option for a coffee spot in Arvada. If you've never been or tried Hunter Bay Coffee, stop by sometime. Enjoy!

First impression is a great one. Located in the heart of old town Arvada, the well lit open spaced seating area, emulates a nice vibe. Friendly staff welcome you and the large blackboard behind the counter lists the Hunter Bay Coffees & eats. Upbeat music plays at the right volume for enjoyment while sipping your favorite cup of Joe! I was disappointed not to find any sugar free syrups but the Barista recommended their house made vanilla, while not sugar free, it was not overly sweet. Hey a little shot in my cappuccino and life just got a wee bit sweeter! There is a small island table with a large plastic water jug, napkins and plastic ware. I like the custom wood recliners by the window. One is made from skis in the cool Colorado tradition. There is a nice outdoor seating area if your in the mood for a quite sidewalk Chillaxing time under the umbrella. Nice stop after my train ride from DIA & Union Station. I'll definitely be back!

We had some mimosas to share. We chose orange and cranberry juice to go with the bubbles. I decided I was feeling more lunch than breakfast and chose the Southwest Turkey Club. It is served on toasted ciabatta with tomato, red onion, shaved turkey, bacon, roasted poblano pepper and chipotle aioli with pepperjack cheese. Yum! I got fries as my side as well as an extra serving of the chipotle aioli to dip. My daughter selected the Works Burger with the day's soup, corn chowder. Her burger had lettuce, tomato, red onion, bacon and sharp cheddar. She really enjoyed it. Genaye was fantastic. Great service!

At the times I go, Bread Winners is usually closed. So I never think too much of it. And I haven't thought about actually checking it out in years. Until the other day, my wife was like, "hey we should go get breakfast at the place next to Bluegrass." Well, we all know what happened next. With the in-laws and little man in tow, we ventured out for a Sunday morning breakfast on the patio. I had no idea what to expect, all I knew is that I wanted to sit outside. Their patio is amazing, completely turfed, shaded, and covered. Nice big chairs and tables, too. Portions are huge, and extremely generous for $15 plates. This is old school breakfast and brunch, not the trendy BS you see on social media. Which is why you won't find too many people online talking about this place. Well, except for Yelp, of course! I ordered a green chile scramble loaded with eggs, chorizo, potatoes, and spicy pork green chile. It came with toast and I loaded it up the scramble with cholula. The food was great, with the green chile being the star studded standout. It had an awesome kick to it! Service was friendly, coffee was refilled multiple times, and we were stuffed. Can't ask for much more these days!

There is a lovely patio and plenty of seating inside but this is a popular spot for good reason! Service is cheerful and expedient throughout. We started with the Mexican cold brew coffee and it might be the best coffee I have had in the area!! It was OUTSTANDING!!! Get it! It's the perfect blend of cold brew, horchata, sweetened condensed milk and cinnamon and I think I could drink it everyday!! We each ordered a skillet, I had the chili relleno skillet with chicken and pancakes for the side and they must be putting magic in those pancakes because they were special. I'm not a big pancake person and I couldn't get enough. They were fluffy and yet they didn't fall apart and I could taste the vanilla they use in the batter. The skillet was massive and delicious and the rellenos were crisp all topped with a hearty portion of expertly prepared green chili. My husband had a different skillet and modified it to add extra proteins and also the rellenos. They were happy to accommodate. What a fabulous brunch experience! I wish I lived closer! I would certainly be a regular! This place is fabulous!!!!!

And, my, oh my, as soon as we parked, we saw the line. Thank goodness, these folks were on their game and despite a decently long line to be seated, they were able to get us in pretty quickly and continued to do so with others, throughout our entire visit. This is teamwork at its best - front and back of the house killing it. We ordered brunch cocktails (bloody mary and mimosa), shared one of their seasonal specials (churro french toast) and had entrees (chilaquiles and crispy rellenos & eggs). Yes, before you think it, yes, we ordered way too much food but took some home with us. Service was really great - fast and cooked to order. Our server checked on us often but not so much that we felt rushed (despite seeing all the folks waiting to be seated, lol). It was a great meal that we'd drive back for. Brunch House has a great vibe - a bit of an upscale diner feel with really elevated food. We will def return in the fall and maybe sit outside. Do yourself a favor, add them to your short list.

Make a reservation--this place fills up fast around lunchtime…read more Came here during a trip to Denver for a friend's wedding. Instantly, my BF pointed to a moderate wall of hot sauces that made my eyes gleam because "spicy" is my not-so-secret food fetish. Y'know. Latte - Very clean flavor; it might be a milder roast. The taste was subtle at first, but it became more fragrant as I took a few more sips. I had been nursing a Dunkin' Donuts coffee up until this point, so my taste buds may have been desensitized. But I did love the strong creaminess of this drink, thanks to the well-foamed milk. The presentation was beautiful, and there's a cute surprise at the bottom! Omelette Asperges & Champignons - Couldn't pronounce any of the ingredients. Didn't bother to try. The first thing I noticed was the CRUNCH. Yes. We love a good crunch from the cured meats. They added a delicious, subtle saltiness and a pleasant layer of texture to the meal. The creaminess and bite of the asparagus also enhanced the texture profile. Flavor-wise? Light and pleasant. Easy to eat after an early flight. Tuna Melt - Bougie tuna salad in the best sort of way. The flavor was creamy, and the sourdough pairing was crisp and perfectly toasted. There's a mild spice to it that I'm fond of, leaving a lingering numbness on my tongue that enticed me to eat more. What can I say? It was thoroughly good. There's also a crunch from the carrots, and for someone who's very texture-heavy when it comes to food, this place nailed that particular sensory experience. The sprouts were another personal favorite--so fresh and unique in their flavor. Perfect for vegetable fans! Bready Goodness + Blueberry Cherry Lemon Jam - 14-year-old sourdough. Say less. Might I say, this sourdough is impeccable with whatever butter they used. And the jam? Clearly not run-of-the-mill. It's very floral, like experiencing a flower field in your mouth, with a lovely lemony scent. This was my personal best experience here. Okay, this jam is literally SO good that we got a little ramekin of it to go. I'm now inspired to pick up jam-making as a hobby because it's incredible that you can create a flavor like this. The small wins in life. Taters Hash Brown - We chose the crispy hash browns to pair with the three sauces we picked. They tasted like hash brown heaven. Once again: texture, texture, texture. Super crunchy and perfectly flavorful. --Horsetooth Hot Sauce (The Green) - Habanero, tomatillo, and serrano. This was my second favorite of the three. The balance between the tang and spice worked much better for me here than in Homegrown Hell. My BF said it had a kick, but I didn't notice. Maybe because my mouth was already on fire. --Sauce Leopard (The 13th Floor) - Apricot and toasted coconut. Very nice and light. I didn't really taste the coconut, but you could tell it had a fruity base. This was my favorite of the three. --Sauce Leopard (Homegrown Hell) - Sichuan tangerine. Much tangier than The 13th Floor, which explains the tangerine, but it wasn't nearly as refreshing. Not a crazy fan of this one. Overall, the textures were easily one of my favorite parts of the meal. Between the cured meats in the omelet, carrots and sprouts in the tuna melt, perfectly toasted sourdough, and ridiculously crunchy hash browns, they really nailed that sensory experience. But that Blueberry Cherry Lemon Jam? That was the winner for me. Any restaurant that sends me home contemplating a new jam-making hobby has clearly done something right.
