Such a cute shop. They utilize all their space with cozy seating, local artist wares for sale and lovely natural lighting. The drinks were impressive and highly innovative for the usual coffee fare. Our Airbnb host recommended this cafe! I was with some friends in the area for a very quick trip and we placed an online order to try it out. Unfortunately we ran into some car issues and we missed the pick up time and when we got to the cafe it was closed. We were leaving the next morning for our flight so we stopped by to see if we could get the drinks or a refund. Since we were short on time we got cash back!!! Honestly I wasn't expecting the $$ back but the owner was so kind. When we come back we will DEFINITELY try it here - I feel bad writing a review without trying their food/drinks but just the service alone was 5 stars. If you happen to be or already live around Golden Rd, downtown golden, applewood, Colorado mills mall or are that type of person that doesn't mind driving a couple extra minutes for a solid coffee place this is the one. We already live about 5 minutes away from SOGO so the fact that we just found out about it and it's been around since October is driving me crazy. They are completely family run and extremely accommodating. The coffee was definitely a sweet treat. It was almost as if they had the Inventing room in the highlands curate all of the toppers on their speciality lattes (refer to the photos- cookie dough and Toasted Marshmellow latte). Buried underneath was a well balanced cup of Joe. It's pretty crazy how reasonably priced it all is considering everything including in the drinks. Aside from their over the top coffee creations they separate theirselves from your typical coffee shop by doubling as a skate shop by promoting local skate merchandise. This is going to be our go to spot from now on. read more

This place is legit and deserves a review. Their cappuccinos are excellent. Lots of foam instead of a giant cup of milk like most places. The nitro is like a malty beer or a Guinness with good flavor and body, not watery like others. The interior is pretty cool as well. These guys know what they are doing. Great job! read more

My partner and I have been coming to Sogo for the past 9 months and have always had a great experience. The owners are amazingly kind and considerate, more often than not actually working to make coffee and help customers. I was craving a homey coffee shop moment, something cabin-esque where you can relax without feeling rushed. Muddy Buck delivered. Comfy couches, warm wood vibes, and the kind of atmosphere that immediately makes you feel welcome. I did forget the book I meant to read, but that worked out because I ended up having a really lovely morning playing games with a friend instead. The coffee was solid, and the pastries were warm, soft, and pillowy. But the sleeper hit here is the Muddy Buck chocolate chip walnut cookie. Gooey, perfectly baked, and genuinely memorable. We ordered the Classic sausage Sammie and the classic bacon Sammie on sourdough which come with sunny side up eggs) plus an Oreo cookie latte (decadent with marshmallow cold foam!) to share. Packed full of people fellowshipping over food and readers and workers/students on laptops. Our food and drink were ready in 10 minutes. Delicious sandwiches with melted real cheddar and dill pickles. Man, when you're hungry, a breakfast Sammie better than caviar! That drink was like dessert so we were well sated! Highly recommend!
