Did not work After some communications with Westinghouse we were directed to R&E Small Engine in Spring Texas. They asked all the right questions and ended up picking up the unit. After just one day, Tom contacted us and explained that: the unit worked very well on propane and gasoline. Natural gas has its typical issues when using, like irregular pressures, (un) steady flow, type and size of fittings, etc etc. They brought the unit back and all is well now. He should be the only one that speaks with customers. They do good work though. Vic is very good at what he does and his attitude shows it. It's very hard to find a good mechanic. Thought I found him. Search Gos on I guess. After my work was finished I had an oil light come on that I never had before. Called them to ask what to do and why was my car released to me without oil. They immediately got defensive instead of being helpful. Turns out, after going to another mechanic, it was just a bad sensor. If their customer service was worth a shit they might have figured that out and even made more money by repairing it for me but that money when to someone else. They won't answer there phone when they see my number because they aren't honorable business people. Go elsewhere. Unless you can deal with attitude. The second star is for the good work on what they did repair.

Once I was able to pay for the parts, they took that payment but did not obtain parts nor begin work for nearly another two months. It took them 2 and1/2 months to get parts and complete the body work with partial and incomplete engine/motor system diagnostics and work. This company failed to do the work promised and billed nor did the keeo and provide me with the parts the allege to have replaced, although was a term for my acceptance of the job. They also refused to produce invoices for the parts they allege to have purchased and installed, as I requested. They also charged me an additional one thousand dollars. The owner made me a verbal offer to correct one deficit, but I told him I feared returning to them. Given the incomplete and poor workmanship, I was forced to go to another merchant as he suggested, due to my uneasiness. This business failed to comply with our signed agreement. Steer clear! Jesus said tell them of His love for them and leave this business to Him. I've done just that. I wouldn't give them even one star but the system requires it.

The vehicle remained at the shop for over a year, and throughout that time we were repeatedly told that repairs were being completed. When the vehicle was finally returned to us, it continued to have the same issues it had when it was originally dropped off. We recently sought an independent inspection from a certified Mini Cooper technician and were informed that many of the repairs we paid for do not appear to have been performed. According to the technician, the vehicle remains in substantially the same condition as before. We have attempted to resolve this matter directly with the shop but have not received a satisfactory explanation or resolution. Complaints have been filed with the Better Business Bureau and the Texas Attorney General's Office. I am sharing this because I wish someone had warned us. If you are considering major repairs on your vehicle, I strongly encourage you to obtain detailed documentation, ask for old parts to be returned, and consider getting a second opinion before authorizing expensive repairs. If anyone in the Kingwood area has had a similar experience, I would appreciate hearing from you.

We've trusted the first two shops for years and have always taken our vehicles there, so we were surprised when we got such a different diagnosis. A friend recommended West Lake Houston Automotive, and we decided to give them a chance. After properly diagnosing the issue, they found the real problems: an oil pan issue and a bad passenger CV joint. They replaced both for a total of $817 out the door. The Pilot is running like new again!
