Dr Liesl Kaye returned my call within 15 minutes and asked all the right questions. She then advised Dr Preston Kaye would be in the office that afternoon if I chose to visit or first thing Tuesday morning. I, of course, took the opportunity to visit asap that afternoon (Memorial Day). Dr Preston Kaye examined my eyes and prescribed medication along with advice on care for my eyes. He advised someone would call me in the morning for a follow up appointment within 10 days to confirm eyes are improving. I received a call Tuesday morning at 9am. Kaye Eye Care is great. After a thorough eye exam, scans and testing, I found out that I had a stigmatism, (unrelated to the irritation) and in fact wasn't 20/20 vision like I always thought. I had always thought my vision was blurry from not getting great sleep. The good news is I was able to diagnose the eye problem with redness and dryness ( the name is long ) :) and get recommendations o help it, & was also able to order a new set of glasses which help me see WAY BETTER!! At my initial appointment, I had mentioned to Dr. Joe I don't drive at night because of poor vision. Dr. Joe recommended getting glasses with just a single lens for driving at night. I currently wear progressive lenses. I just picked up my new driving glasses and wore them on the way home. Oh my gosh, I can read street signs really well from a distance, things are so much clearer now. I'm so glad that Dr. Joe and Dr. Charlene Morfoot brought their practice to Huntley. I can see fine; I just needed an updated prescription. Clearly he was looking to make money and not recommend the best thing for me - his patient. We Went through all of the steps and the prescription he gave me isn't correct. I don't know if he wrote it down wrong or what but the script is wrong. I have been to this practice for several years and all of the providers I saw previously were outstanding. I think it says a lot about the practice that all of those other ophthalmologists have left and only newly graduated, inexperienced ones are there now. I am not going back.

They have an online portal that keeps all our info, prescriptions, and bills in one location. They also use external sources to make it easy to automate your contact lens purchasing. We will continue to stay loyal and hope that COVID doesn't impact future visits.
