First time visit- very disappointed. Was hoping to have a very special visit with wife. They asked if it was our first visit upon arrival. But never offered to show us the facility. We arrived early to use the day pass we paid for but they stuck us in a salt room to wait for our treatment. The men's locker wouldn't work so I carried my valuables. The manager asked us why we were mad. We weren't mad- we were surprised. They finally showed us all the wonderful ammeneties we had access to. But then it was time for our 90 min scrub. We were told we can use the facilities after our treatments. The scrub is wonderful. I will add 90 min on a hard stone table is hard on the body. But you leave very clean. What they failed at is who wants to go in a hot tub or lay on a communal wet stone table bath or sweat in a sauna after a $900 couples body scrub? They need to better communicate to new customers to arrive very early to use the Hammam we paid for then take the treatment. We won't be back. read more

It really wasn't what I expected. There were no wading pools or other bodies of water. There was a small hot tub next to 2 cool barrels of water , but when you sat in them, the water only went up to lower chest. I expected more pools of water. The facility was coed. I didn't feel like it was a professional spa/Hammam. It was missing the little things that make those experiences so much more enjoyable. I would recommend going, if you got a chance to go for free or 50% off, but at its price point, it was not a good value for me. The people who seemed to enjoy it most were the people who liked going from hot to cold. Aileen who did my massage seemed to be a kind soul. I ended up with a burn from the sauna. The ladle slipped in my hand which splashed water, and then the steam burnt my arm. Management didn't even check on me. The first guy who I asked for help brought me a first aid kit, but it wasn't equipped to deal with burns. The front desk lady did find a cream that helped with the stinging for a few minutes. This is an actual spa where you can spend multiple hours relaxing. There are 2 saunas, a cold room with a cold plunge, a salt room, hydro massage pool, steam room, the grand Hammam is absolutely beautiful (we ordered the mask which included a mask and salt and my skin feels super soft), there are more amenities that you can get. This place is a huge scam! First, they tell you that there's a service that costs $140 for 30 minutes, and you can upgrade for 50 min for $175. They also recommend getting a day pass, which means you don't have to take the day pass and can just come for an hour-long massage. However, when you show up after your hour-long treatment, they inform you that the day pass is already included in your bill, even if you haven't used it. To make matters worse, they charge you an additional $80 for the day pass. And don't even get me started on the 20% tip. It doesn't matter how good or bad the service is; it's still a scam. Really disappointing and misleading experience. I called this place multiple times to confirm that my mom's special birthday massage came out to the cost of a Swedish massage advertised online and they confirmed. Once we finished up, they charged us an additional $125 on top of my mom's expensive massage, stating that ANY treatment you get has an additional day pass fee of $125 on top of it even though we had proof she didn't use any facilities after her treatment ended. They did not do anything to accommodate us. Beyond this, the facilities smell really bad - specifically the Hammam room and some saunas. Definitely not a clean environment. One of the two cold plunges was broken so there was a long line to use it and we never got the chance. The roof was leaking in multiple places. And, the staff were constantly obstructing entrances to places like the locker room, even the space in front of my locker, and while obstructing they were gossiping loudly instead of making room for guests. The staff were also supposed to give me a tour, i was waiting outside the locker room for ten minutes, told a fee staff i was waiting for my tour, and no one came to assist me. The spa is beautifully designed and offers a variety of options (steam room, saunas, cold plunges, jacuzzi, rain shower, arctic room, etc). At some point it did become too crowded, which took away from the experience. The Turkish restaurant had delicious food and great atmosphere. What was disappointing was the lack of transparency. I booked a massage and was shocked that the clock started before we even entered the room, which wasn't disclosed at the time of booking the service. I have been to many spas and massage places and have NEVER seen the clock started before the masseuse puts the hands on you! By the time we walked to the room, answered questions about treatment preferences and got ready - what was supposed to be a 50 minute massage ended up being 35 minutes. I was so looking forward to a full body massage and the masseuse didn't even get to my head or arms/hands, which is unacceptable for the price they are charging ($175 plus a mandatory 20% tip). If you are going to be overcharging for spa services, the least you can do is provide the service for the full time you are charging... Additionally, the sign by the front desk advertised all day spa pass and I bought my spa experience thinking I have all day, only at the checkout to be informed that I am being charged extra for staying over the 4 hour limit. This should've been transparent at the time of checking in. Overall, great facilities but the lack of transparency left me discouraged from returning. The manager offered a 15% discount on the massage service which doesn't even cover the MANDATORY 20% tip. I felt more stressed out than relaxed, which defeats the purpose of a spa day. Avoid, save yourself an expensive mistake. A friend and I decided to do a spa day and instead of heading to a nice hotel in Miami Beach decided to try this hammam instead. We arrive at 11 am as we purchased a day pass and were left waiting in the reception area for around 40 minutes. When we continued to ask to be attended they just apologized and moved on... we got very little time to use the facilities as our "experience" appointment was at 1 pm. Our therapist came to collect us shirtless with an open robe with swim trunks and chains on their necks. They spoke very little English did not explain the treatment at all beyond " wait and see". At one point we were being smacked with soapy tree leaf branches covered in a strong smelling soap. The massage was not good either. Upon check out the front desk asked how the treatment was and we said it was "okay not the best" and they proceed to just nod and collect their $550 per person! It was the most unprofessional bizarre experience I've ever had a "wellness" spa. This is not a high end establishment and may I suggest you save your time and money and go elsewhere. read more
