this is a great place to eat. the food and the service was exceptional. This is one of my go to places anytime I'm in Orange Beach.

The perfect lunch spot. We came here on a rainy day with nothing to do. Was a little packed at a random time like 2pm, but that's better than it being completely empty . Food and service were great. My lemon pepper wings were fresh and perfectly seasoned. The fries had no seasoning, but were still edible. This seems like a hidden gem. We lucked out as it was across from our hotel and we walked over. Food was super tasty, the Firecracker Shrimp are like crack. I could eat pounds of them, so good. Burger was solid and arrive at the bar was outstanding. Bathroom needs to be attended more but not a big deal. read more

Good option for American food at the beach! This place was right across from our hotel so we went to check it out. The menu has lots to choose from and the inside is big with lots of seating. The waitress took a bit to come to us since she didn't realize no one had taken care of us yet. The chips and queso were a great appetizer. The burgers are HUGE. Unfortunately from the walking in the door the experience wasn't the best. We should up a little after 3PM on a weekday, so it wasn't even that busy. Stood at the host stand for 5+ minutes without being greeted by anyone. At this point we're looking on our phones for somewhere else to go before we walk back out into the rain. Finally we are greeted and sat. 10 minutes go by and we haven't had anything interaction from anything until a gentleman stops by and says our server is in the restroom and he'll take our drink orders. He returns with our drinks a few minutes later. We again wait about another 10 minutes with no interactions since we got our drinks. At this point we've wasted almost 30 minutes from entering the door till now and still haven't gotten our food order taken. I'm back again looking for somewhere else to go since it's getting ridiculous. Right as we were getting up to leave, our server finally gets out from the kitchen and takes our order. She was apologetic, and said she was on the phone with her son's school. We get it, we have kids too, but probably should have let the manager know so someone else could have taken care of us. Anyways, skip ahead to getting our food. We're at the 50 minute mark. Finally the food comes out. Everything is hot at least. My kids got the cheeseburger and one had the mac & cheese. The mac & cheese had a large chunk of dried up and hard compacted mac & cheese, which I assume was from the bottom of the pan. The burger was decent. My wife got the Burgerito, which she said was good other than they put onions in it anyways when it was requested to leave out. I ordered the Baja fish tacos, and was very disappointed. The fish was very very bland, so only flavor that I would sometimes get was some char which was good. The coleslaw was in the bottom of the tacos instead of the top making it hard to eat. Was pleasantly surprised by this place. Stopped in for a quick bite after hanging at the beach. The food was well prepared and seasoned. The coconut shrimp tacos were pretty tasty, but the shrimp were a bit on the oily side. The pineapple bits were refreshing after time in the sun. The gridiron wings were on point, definitely ordering those again next time! Crispy with a nice flavor and heat to give a little kick without being overpowering. Standard wing place decor with sports on the TVs. Service was slow, but not sure if it was just our server or overall. Mixed feelings about this place. We have often driven by and never stopped. We have had great wait staff that were friendly and knowledgable. However the food is very expensive for lower quality. Also one of the only places around without a Happy Hour food menu and it shows. While all the other places are packed there are usually only a handful of patrons here. We are snowbirds that get together with usually 5-6 other couples once a week. Each couple usually spends around$ 60-80 each time we are out. We also all tip extremely well. Even the wait staff say they wished there was a Happy Hour food menu since they are so dead in the Winter. We won't be adding Hurricane Grill and Wings to our rotation unfortunately even though the location is perfect for us. read more

Food was not up to par! Normally, we get burgers and wings (both have always been good.) But, we only ordered wings tonight. My daughter had no complaints, and said hers tasted good and was appropriate temperature. My husband & I decided we would share the wings we ordered and make it a meal for $4.99 extra, w two sides. We got the Mexican street corn and onion rings. We were disappointed we couldn't eat anything that was served to us because it was ice cold. We were going to send it back, but they offered to take it off our bill and box it up for us. NOTE: They can't microwave at restaurants when it's already hit someone's table for health reasons. They even offered to make us another order and stated that was wrong and would be addressed. Said it shouldn't have left the kitchen that way. We had already waited awhile and had somewhere else to go, so we decided to take it home. I will add, that corn was delicious! About as average as a "wing" place can be in my humble opinion. My wife and I each ordered their traditional wings. We each ordered one of their specialty sauces, and each of us were unimpressed. I tried the Fire and Ice, which is supposed to be Buffalo, meets Horseradish. There is ZERO Horseradish flavor...ZERO. My wife tried an asian sauce, sorry, but I don't remember the name, and the flavor was non-existent. The wings varied in consistency from nice and crispy to snappy as a rubber band. We ordered the platter so we could try their fries and their homemade kettle chips. Neither had any flavor and seasonings were exempt. Not even the slightest salt, pepper, Old Bay; nothing! Lastly, the service was slow. Poor bartender had our table. She couldn't keep up with the 6 people at the bar, drinking nothing, and her one table. My wife and I hit up Hurricane Grill on a rainy Sunday for an early-ish lunch. When we arrived, the place was not crowded and we were seated right away. It took a several minutes for our server to check in with us for a drink order, but after that his service was prompt, friendly and attentive. While we were there it never got too loud, but I could see it getting a bit festive in the evenings during a good game. Several TVs spaced around the place and a well-stocked bar. You know what that means LOL My wife ordered a bowl of chili and Mexican Street corn. I asked for the Caesar salad entree. The (quite big) salad was decent and my wife said the chili and street corn were really good. Pretty reasonable prices, as well. Restaurant was comfortable, family atmosphere. Unfortunately the food was all pre frozen and not very good. We got the Perfect Storm starter as our meal hoping to enjoy several different items. The shrimp were small and mushy with batter. The cheese sticks were like the ones from Walmarts freezer. The boneless chicken was ok. The garlic fries had nearly no garlic butter and Parmesan on them. The onion rings were ordered as a side were crunchy, but clearly pre frozen. We wanted to love this place but were very unhappy with everything. Just looking for a place that actually prepares food and not just throw it into a fryer. The waitress was very nice. We decided to give this place a try tonight since the Gulf was still crowded. Our waitress was Tay. I asked her about a wing sauce and she couldn't really answer a simple question. We ordered pickles, 10 wings, one fry and a beer. They were not crowded but it took 35-40+ minutes to get our wings and fry. Boneless wings looked like dog food and were not hot, she also didn't get my husbands beer. Her demeanor was very off putting, never came to the table, didn't talk to us even when we asked her to remove the boneless wings from the bill, no apology for a backed up kitchen (if that was the issue) or her shitty service. It shouldn't have taken 40 minutes for my 5yr old to get his fries. It was the first time we have never left a server a tip. DO BETTER!!! read more

Apparently the owner of the Angry Crab owns this business as well so I came over with my family for lunch! The service was great! I didn't catch the server's name but she was fast, attentive and kind! The wings were great as they were a good size and juicy. The appetizers were good as well as our entrées. The best service we've received by far. Made plenty of great recommendations. I'm extremely picky when it comes to wings. Like the PICKIEST person. I'm a wing connoisseur. The wings here are GREAT! First time eating at Hurricane Grill and Wings The food was better than expected, it hit the spot. Ended up here because most places close before 10pm. This place doesn't close until 11pm. There was a sign on the door stating kitchen maintenance starts at 10p and we were there right at 10. After my wife and I glance at each other thinking no way this is really happening we tell him what we want. (Both drinks and order) Server was very fast bringing out our drinks, but of course he brought her a regular coke when she asked for diet. At first we thought no big deal we'll just ask him to swap it out, but we never ended up seeing him again the rest of the time we were there. After about 45 minutes of waiting for our food, and not even seeing our server once we just said screw it and got the hell out of there. (We only ordered wings and tacos, the wait time on such a simple order is absolutely unacceptable) They weren't even busy. After reading some of the reviews below I noticed some of the same exact complaints I had. The service and atmosphere of this place is just awful. Not sure how they even stay open with such a bad reputation. Upper management really has some reflecting to do with training and managing their staff if they want to have any chance of keeping up with the stuff competition out in Orange Beach. read more
