Golf channel on for your viewing pleasure, adequate menu, accommodating cook to adjust for dietary needs, servers very nice. They were having a computer problem at the time and everybody was handling it very well, professionally, until the manager came in and started cussing and being disrespectful to the repair man. I think this was the worst service we have ever had! Our server "T" (won't put her name but will call management and let them know), was horrible. Not sure if it was her or the kitchen, but all 3 of our orders came out wrong. Either way, she never said "Oh, I'm so sorry, I'll make this right". Instead either argued or did nothing, all with a sour face. Finally did say she could bring me a wrap so I could fix mine myself (which I asked to do from the get go). After 15-20 min and she saw my daughter not eating, she finally asks if she can have another sandwich made. She should've said right away, "I'll get this fixed". So when she finally addresses the issue and says "It will be quick", it was not. Very slow and rude service. She and another waitress and the bartender just wanted to stand behind the bar gossiping. I get that it is difficult serving a bunch of drunk golfers all day, but that's not what we were. Food was OK. "T" took daughter's sandwich off the tab and said "Sorry about that" in a very curt manner. She was not sorry in the least. Honestly it seemed like a game. Let's see how badly we can treat them and then pretend to be sorry and see if I can get a tip. Well, it worked slightly as her tip went from $0 to 10%. I regret giving her anything now. Especially after my husband informed me after we left that his meal was incorrect as well. He didn't bother to mention while there since it was clear she didn't care and it would take forever to get a new dish. read more

We live in Gulf Shores and have been trying out new places. We came across this place and even though it was a little drive from our house we decided to try on Sunday for lunch. So glad we did. The place is set on a beautiful golf course with a great outdoor seating area. They have a very nice menu selections for lunch. We figure the food would be average because but we was so wrong! This place had one of the best rib-eye steak sandwiches every and they had a fantastic grill chicken wrap flatbread . The service was very friendly and check on us frequently. If you want to adventure off the path, this is a great place to go specially if you like golf! read more

Hamburger was cooked properly and bun was toasted. Turkey flatbread and sweet potato fries were very good. Dining room was chilly and bathroom very cold. Reasonably quick service, attentive staff. The breakfast menu is wonderful. I kept it simple with biscuits and sausage gravy and it was divine. I tasted the sausage Benedict which was also delicious. Everyone enjoyed the food. The view of the golf course was very soothing. I will go back again and again. read more

Kiva Grill has really upped their game recently. Breakfast has always been top notch. The dinner menu now rivals any fine dining on the coast. In the past, they generally served standard 19th hole fare (wings, burgers and chicken fingers) and they closed early. Their menu now looks more like fine dining and they are open later. The service is excellent. There generally is not any wait list and you can enjoy a great view of the golf course whether you choose to sit inside or outside. read more

This is a good place to go for breakfast lunch , a snack or dinner . I go here often when in town and I've never had been disappointed in a meal . My family loves it and we all like it . Can't say anything about the food. Showed up around 11:15 and not one employee acknowledged us standing in the door. No sign indicates to wait or be seated. So we waited. Menu board says they stop serving breakfast at 11 but online says brunch til 2. Eventually sat ourselves and we're ignored by bartender lady even after loudly asking if we're supposed to seat ourselves. Leaving one star because the cinnamon roll was great. Our young waitress was friendly, prompt, and relatable. She deserves 5 stars & there was a 5 star view of the golf course. I decided to leave a 1 star review because of the great deal of embarrassment my dear friend experienced while checking out & they were running her card. She mistakenly gave a card with insufficient funds to cover her bill, which should have been handled with class. Instead, an older, blonde short haired employee, threw her card down and exclaimed, "this ones a REJECT!" So the entire restaurant could hear. I'm sure you can imagine the hurt and embarrassment as my friend is recently unemployed due to COVID. The employee then proceeds to make a remark to her colleague in a whisper, "If you're gonna give a card like that, don't expect to get away with it." We gave a different card, while the employee continued to say to my friend, "it must have been a LONG week." The disrespect and lack of class was noticed. Needless to say, we will not be bringing our service or recommending this restaurant to our friends. If you want a good show, bring some Monopoly money & watch Karen freak out. read more

I had the unpleasant opportunity of dining at the kiva grill for breakfast this morning with a group of my friends. Although the food was decent the service was horrendous. Our server first approached our table to inform us that the grill was "broken" and we would have to enjoy the buffet. She then proceeded to serve and take orders at every other table in the dining room, just not ours. Not once did the server approach our table again until it was time for the check. When presented with our credit card she insulted the card saying it's seen "better days" and then told us that the printer was not working so they could not accept credit cards at this time (even though we were brought a printed bill). Another woman then assisted us and told us that the printer was in fact working. We were discriminated against and received the worst service I've ever had, and coming from a server myself that is saying something. read more
