Vegetable eggs Benedict without hollandaise sauce

Golf channel on for your viewing pleasure, adequate menu, accommodating cook to adjust for dietary needs, servers very nice. They were having a computer problem at the time and everybody was handling it very well, professionally, until the manager came in and started cussing and being disrespectful to the repair man. Not a pleasant experience at that moment.

We stopped in for some drinks one afternoon while it was raining. There was no wait and we were greeted immediately. The waitress was super friendly and funny! We got a Pina Colada and a Miami Vice. Both drinks were really good & pretty cheap for a resort grill!

We live in Gulf Shores and have been trying out new places. We came across this place and even though it was a little drive from our house we decided to try on Sunday for lunch. So glad we did. The place is set on a beautiful golf course with a great outdoor seating area. They have a very nice menu selections for lunch. We figure the food would be average because but we was so wrong! This place had one of the best rib-eye steak sandwiches every and they had a fantastic grill chicken wrap flatbread . The service was very friendly and check on us frequently. If you want to adventure off the path, this is a great place to go specially if you like golf!

Chicken egg Benedict, also had the biscuits and gravy . Mimosa and amaretto sour

Placed that then came back, since it was late afternoon and we were going on a dolphin cruise soon, we just had appetizers. We ordered drinks the Bushwacker and a Classic Margarita. Yeh, the Bushwacker should have a warning, highly addictive! It was like a milkshake with alcohol! Tasty!! The margarita was well made also. Our appetizers were the 4 pieces coconut shrimp and the pita bread chips with spinach dip. Both really yummy and good portion size, too. As I started with, we got there late afternoon and it wasn't real busy so I can't say how loud it might be in the evenings or how long of a wait if it was busy. But we decided we will go back before we leave Gulf Shores.

Although, they have good happy hour choices. And, during certain times of the year, they have good daily specials. It's just kind of frustrating they don't offer the daily specials throughout the whole year. They take them away, when tourists are in abundance. So, I only go to the Beach House Kitchen at happy hour times and when they offer their daily specials. Even though it's closest to my condo, I can find better food and better deals down the road (throughout the entire year!)

Type of Food: Scratch-made coastal Southern cuisine, fresh Gulf seafood (shrimp, oysters, fish, and crab claws), gumbo, po'boys, burgers, and tropical cocktails. Review: This was an excellent visit from start to finish. Going during an off-time on a weekday was a great move because we walked right in with absolutely no wait. The service was top-notch, with our glasses never staying empty thanks to plentiful refills--and their great iced tea was a major plus. We split a massive fried seafood platter that came with a ton of food and a surprisingly generous portion of crab claws. Sharing one of their alcohol bucket drinks was a fun highlight, and you simply cannot beat eating great food with that view and the gulf breeze. I also really loved checking out the gift shop located right next to the restaurant. Cons: Nothing bad to say about this visit! (Everything from the zero wait time to the food, drinks, and service was fantastic.) Thumbs up / Thumbs down: Thumbs up (We would absolutely go back!)

Hominy, hush puppies, cornbread, grits, Alabama white sauce on any meat, especially smoked chicken, are all popular in Alabama. BBQ is practically a religion in the South! As former certified Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS) certified judges, my husband and I completed the training and paid the fees to be certified. The "KCBS way" is different from a lot of people's preferences in that, for example, a BBQ rib should actually have some "pull" to it, meaning, when you bite into it, your mouth should leave a mark in the rib. This means "fall off the bones" ribs are not KDBS quality, despite how many love that rib consistency. The KCBS judges slots fill up so quickly and required us to travel at our own cost and we did not judge any KCBS events. Back to Southern food. Deep fried double Oreos are one of the many fried foods here in Huntsville, and Melt restaurant features them on their menu. Meat-and-Three restaurants feature a meat (usually fried pork chop, meatloaf, BBQ, fried catfish, country fried steak/chicken) and three sides (fried okra, creamed corn, mashed potatoes and gravy, baked potato, potato salad, cole slaw, French fries) and bread options such as cornbread, rolls, hush puppies. While Southern Cooking is absolutely delicious, I have to limit it because lets face it, it is high in calories and cholesterol. When I do indulge, it's shrimp and grits, pimento cheese, fried green tomatoes, and fried whole okra.
