The conversations with the staff were so natural and welcoming that I genuinely felt like I was visiting family. And guess what? Granddaddy himself came out of the kitchen, where he was cooking, just to sit and chat with me! We had a REAL conversation. He told me about his career, his retirement, and even pulled out his phone to show me pictures of his family. No scripted customer service, no forced small talk. Just genuine Southern hospitality. I absolutely LOVED that! Now, let's get into this FOOD! I ordered 12 wings, half mild and half hot, with a side of collard greens. Everything came out piping hot, fresh, and FULL of flavor. The portions were generous, too. I couldn't finish it all and had to get a to-go box. The food was delicious, but the hospitality is what really made this visit memorable. The service was as fast as I've ever seen it ... literally my friend was still finishing paying at the cashier and her food was already ready. The restaurant itself was clean as well - and there were team members checking in on the dining room regularly to pick up trash and wipe down tables. Everyone was friendly, which is always refreshing, especially in a fast food restaurant. You really can't go wrong with Cane's chicken tenders, and these hit the spot after a particularly long day. One of my favorite hacks is swapping the coleslaw in the box combo for an extra piece of Texas toast. They also had Leprechaun Lemonade for St. Paddy's Day, which was a fun twist on their classic Cane's lemonade.
