YUCK! I won't even waste much time with this review. It is one thing for an establishment to be dirty and whomever is working there is just sitting around talking instead of cleaning or at least making an attempt to clean ANYTHING but then its another to make dirty choices like not washing your hands before handling a pizza. Well 3 strikes and you're out. First few times ordering from Husky pizza were fantastic but I don't know what changed. Seems the last 3 times ordering food from Husky has been less than good. Tonight pretty much sealed the deal. I probably won't be ordering from Husky ever again. They are now consistently bad. Tasteless and greasy describe all the food pretty much perfectly. Low quality and poorly prepared. On top of lousy food they can't even make the proper order. Cheeseburger Grinder was $10+ for very little meat and less than fresh lettuce and tomato. I asked for bacon and they gave me bacon bits. Or something similar. I also ordered some Sweet Chili Lime boneless buffalo wings. $20 for 12 pieces and all they gave me was a pile of PLAIN chicken fingers of the frozen variety. Are you even kidding me right now? Cheesy garlic bread was not good. Barely any cheese or garlic. The only thing keeping above a 1 start review was the southwestern chicken salad. That was decent. So in the end, $70 later I'll say with confidence that I won't ever be back to this place. Lost a customer tonight and won't recommend to anyone I know. read more

Frozen crust. First time trying Husky pizza, ordered a large half-pepperoni and a medium "the works" with eggplant substituted in place of the pepperoni on that pie. Fist thing you'll notice is they use an oviously pre-made, brought-in, frozen dough for the crust. Not good. Beyond the obvious textural let-down, It literally leaves an aftertaste. My wife ordered stuffed manicotti , she said it was "okay, but very bland". If a place bills itself as a "pizza" restaurant, I do not expect them to use a pre-made, frozen pizza dough. Almost forgot... we also ordered Onion Rings... they were hard and chewy (not crispy). It's as if they were fried once, frozen, then fried a 2nd time. Horrible. Just called to place an order for a turkey grinder. Asked for lettuce, tomatoes, extra mayo, american cheese and hot peppers. The older person that took my order told me a price that was higher than I normally pay. I asked him if the price went up, he said no. I asked if he charged me extra for anything on the sandwich, he said yes. I asked what i was charged extra for and he said the hot peppers. I told him I've been ordering this same grinder for over a year and have never been charged extra for hot peppers. I told him its usually a young guy, early 20s or so, that usually answers the phone and takes my order. His response was and i quote "well that young guy doesn't pay the bills or the lights". I said you know what, cancel my order. There's too many other places around the area to get food from to take that type of attitude, especially from what seemed like the owner. Would choose zero stars if allowed. I ordered a roast beef grinder from them. It was suppose to have mayo , cheese and i paid an extra $1.29 for onions. When i went to eat my grinder. There was no mayo, no cheese and no onion. The roast beef was expired, it was slimy and the smell was enough to make you puke. I ordered an eggplant grinder, veggie pizza and a bacon cheeseburger. My instructions for the burger were, plain and no pickle anywhere, not even on the side. I verified when I picked up that there were no pickles. I was told verbally, no pickle. All lies, several slices of juicy disgusting pickles. The veggie pizza had tons of huge slices of veggies. That might sound awesome, but too many veggies sliced largely caused everything to be soggy. There was no sign of sauce anywhere, and no taste. Same with the grinder, soggy with no flavor. This is my go-to grinder place! The bread they use is beautifully golden and crunchy/crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfect and reminds me of my old haunts: New York delis! I usually order chicken cutlet with lettuce and mayo. I'm picky about my food and their chicken is delicious. Simple breaded chicken (NOT greasy!) with seasoned breadcrumbs chopped for ease of eating on a grinder. The lettuce is sliced into strips (my favorite!) and they don't use too much mayo. My husband orders the Italian Combo and enjoys it. Perfect grinder every time and my husband and I like their cheese pizza also. We haven't tried other foods yet, but certainly plan on it. Flag!!! Do not go. Large pizza is only 15". A one topping pizza cost me 25.99 instead of "12.99+" listed on the menu. Two of the slices had no topping at all. Skimpy like crazy on the cheese. Its actually bad pizza to boot. Had I gone to Rocky Hill Pizza I could have had TWO one topping 18" pizzas for $27.00. I could have also chosen a chicken Alfredo sheet for $20.00. Found this place online because I really wanted a gyro, but I really didn't want to drive. This was one of the few places that had gyros, was currently delivering, and that I could hit the minimum order amount without having to order extra stuff I didn't want. I ordered online, got the gyro delux, which came with salad and fries and I specified "no tomatoes." I also decided to opt for some dessert and got tiramisu. I was pleasantly surprised to see the salad included dolmades, feta, and pepperoncini, but not tomatoes. It was tasty, and then I moved on to the gyro, which was covered in tomatoes... teeny chopped up bits of tomatoes mixed in with chopped bits of lettuce and onion. Luckily, I am not allergic, it's just a taste preference, so I started the tedious task of picking through the mess to get rid of all the tomato bits. I was fairly annoyed by the time I got to eat my gyro, but it was tasty. Portions were large- I am full from just the salad and gyro, only had a couple of fries, and I have to save the tiramisu for later. I order grinders without cheese for my boyfriend and there's cheese on them (the steak grinder has cheese all throughout it so it's not like you can just pick it off). And yesterday took the cake. To start, the shop isn't air conditioned. They had a 2 slices + can of soda for $4.99 that my husband and I got. The pizza looked okay, but when served was clearly not fresh. I asked them not to overheat it, but when it came to the table it was overcooked and too hot to eat. The server was nice enough, but was a lot more interested in talking with 2 female friends sitting in the shop. He sat at their table and talked on their phone while our pizza got overcooked. To make it worse, about an hour after I ate the pizza (and I could only eat about 1 1/3 slice), I had horrible stomach cramps and became really nauseated. Lived in Plainville for a few years now and never eaten here. Decided to give it a try for lunch. During a hot week we decided to order two wraps. It has take. 30 mins for them to make it when there is no one else in the restaurant. The two young men there were busy chatting with friends who were sitting at a table.
