The worst! So many better places to go in the area. Thank goodness we got happy hour prices, because if I paid full price for this terrible food, I would have been very upset. Caesar salad was fine. Wings were odd, we got the sweet and smoky dry rub, which was essentially flavorless. The wings were lukewarm but fully cooked, making us think they had just been sitting in a warmer. They brought ranch instead of blue cheese and it took several minutes to bring blue cheese, while the wings only got colder. The pizza was some of the worst I've ever had. Super doughy, too much low quality cheese. We ate it because we had an event after and we didn't have time to go anywhere else. But it was not good. I was relieved it was only $8 due to happy hour pricing, normal price would have been $15!!?? I would have sent it back for that price. Our server was pleasant enough, but she seemed new and had to keep asking her manager every time we asked a question. Their happy hour menu is a great value and their pizzas are great, especially the brussel and potato and the jackpot. Just tried a sandwich for the first time, the Hot Honey Eggplant, and it was pretty depressing. $16 for 1 super thin slice of eggplant I couldn't even tell it was eggplant. The tomato on the sandwich was thicker. Super disappointed for that price point. Definitely skip their sandwiches and stick with the pies. read more

My wife treated me to lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. We were greeted and seated immediately. The restaurant is bright, clean and inviting. Our server, Olivia, was friendly, helpful and attentive. We decided on the Detroit Pepperoni pizza and an order of the boneless BBQ Wings. The pizza is a thick crust pizza and it lived up to its name. We ordered the eight piece Wings but should have ordered the four piece. They were big and some ended up going home with us. The wings were crunchy and tasty. The pizza came out covered in Pepperoni and dripping with cheese. There was just the right amount of tomato sauce and the crust was about an inch and a half deep. It was soft and flavorful and of course very filling. We ended up taking half the pizza home. We will be back. I want to try the other offerings but it will be difficult to pass on the Detroit Pepperoni Pizza. This place is a new gem for the area. read more

Pizza is a favorite to all and I love Square Peg's coal fired pizza. Fresh out the oven they offer tons of options but what's even cooler is they offer pizza flights so you can try up to 3 different kinds for 35$. What a delicious deal! Another fun fact is if you sign up for their rewards program you can get a free cheese pizza with other great promotions. The fried spaghetti that is salted and comes in the mason jar is so addicting I can eat them all the time. The Plainville location is a hidden gem attached to the hotel and offers an indoor arcade inside the restaurant as well, which I think is awesome. For starters, I've been coming back to this place often and the food has always hit the spot. The latests time, I got the buffalo tender mac and cheese and the blueberry cheesecake, both from their monthly specials menu, and it was delicious. I had to post this so people go and get the mac before the end of the month... The service is always top notch, even when they get busy. Olivia was serving us and she did a really good job staying on top of our drinks and food order. Didn't feel rushed nor too slow either, perfect pace. The vibe inside is nice too with the music and their little arcade game corner. Olivia can make a mean cold brew martini too which I recommend. Some other times when I have visited, I get the pizzas well done making it more crispy, almost burnt which I personally like. I'm a sucker for the chicken bacon caciatore or however you spell it. We decided to try Square Peg Pizzeria we ordered the chicken tenders with sweet barbecue sauce the chicken was very tender and we really like the sweet barbecue sauce. We also ordered a large pizza with sausage, eggplant, and onions . I was very surprised how quick the pizza came out of the oven. We only waited about 15 minutes. I will come back and try again as I assume this is an off night . It was not great, There were 6 of us in our party, we made a reservation as we figured it was a weekend. From the different options on the menu to the bottom list mimosas this place is delicious! A brunch menu is something different. They have a breakfast pizza, and spaghetti pancakes! They were a little difficult to eat because of how they are cut and they needed a little more moisture so syrup made them perfect. They had a slight smoky taste to them which was really good. I would give them an 8 out of a 10 once the Syrup was applied. The chicken and waffles were pretty yummy too and they came with two different sides of sauces. We had pizza which was a personal size pizza, and not big enough to share. I ordered an Italian grinder, toasted, the barely 4 inch grinder had a toasted roll but the meat and cheese were ice cold. Waitress was no where to be found to address this with. Finally when we were finished we had to ask another server if they could get our waitress to bring us the check. She brought the check and when she took are credit card, she came back and was insisting we already paid in the app. We told we didn't and she went back and then returned 15 minutes later with the credit slip. Ordered takeout and was very disappointed. Tuscan olives were way overpriced for the small handful of castelvetrano olives, some citrus peel and oil. Margarita pizza was standard, but cold and overpriced at $25. Pasta ala vodka was not terrible but portion size was way smaller than expected for almost 20 dollars. No meat or anything- just pasta and sauce. Mozzarella sticks weren't bad. They were large but of the three that were in the order, one was completely empty of cheese. The only positive stand out was the wings with Carolina gold mustard sauce which were different and delicious. Overall the food was generally mediocre and not at all worth the money. I sadly don't have any pictures to support my review, but that's due to how excited my wife and I were once the food got to our table! First off, we loved the ambiance of this place. This location has been many things over the years and the vibe/energy of this place was warm and inviting, highlighted by our waitress Kim who was a rockstar and delight. We ordered a few things to sample: cheesy garlic bread, house salad, buffalo wings, a small cheese and small Truffle Boscaiola. Overall we were very happy with everything we ordered! My personal highlights were the surprising taste and flavor of their buffalo sauce on the wings, how good their cheese pizza was (reminded me of Zuppardi's which is a compliment), and how personal and attentive our server Kim was with us. You can start a countdown to this place closing. Not because it's the worst food or even worst service but not much lasts at this location and judging by amount of people/size I just don't see it lasting. It has kinda a bit of a Dave N Busters look to it with arcade inside. Went on Wednesday evening when Trivia was happening. A DJ with one of the 1980s obnoxious voices. I'm trying very hard not to make further fun of this guy but it was rough. Hope that's not his day job. As for food it's not great. So many better pizza places in area. Wings tasted like any wing you would get at a diner or cheap place. On this night each wing was $1. So essentially 6 wings ($6 plus tax) is what you would pay for at most places, maybe a tad bit less here. Not as good as a deal as they want you to think. My pizza I literally had to rip apart because the guy who made barely cut it. Bland flavor and chewy. Server seemed disinterested and only came over maybe twice? Would not go back here or any other Square Peg location. You can do WAY better if looking for quality pizza. Also the water had a really strange taste as well, had to get soda. But wish that was only issue. Wouldn't recommend. Two stars for food coming out quick and prices weren't horrible. And get a normal voice on that trivia! read more

My suggestion, turn the volume down a bit. We ordered out last night. Our food was cold. When I got there, 3 minutes after the online ordering time, they didn't have our order ready. My biggest thing is for how expensive the food is... why am I getting it luke warm.
