Huuma is an Asian-inspired cocktail bar near Chinatown and in heart of Little Italy. Like most places in NYC, the seating inside is a bit small, but there is some seating outside on the street. Our server was always checking up on us for drinks and water, so the service was great! My friends and I sat outside and got their AYCD premium package! The premium package was $39 and it offers a bit more drink options and I think it was totally worth the price. We got like 5 rounds or so of drinks so we definitely made the most of the price. I think we tried almost every cocktail on the menu. The Lychee Martini, Hibiscus Margarita, and Rose Gin Sour were solid options to me. Honestly, the only "bad" drink was the Oolong Whiskey Highball. It was really strong, so if you like that then definitely order it. By the end of the night, we were all feeling drunk. I would definitely come back for the vibes, drinks, and service! I tried the AYCD package and thought it was an amazing deal. I was looking for a bottomless brunch spot that didn't require food to be purchased and came upon this. Whilst there is food, there's only small bites so prepare to eat somewhere else. The food was very good. I got the fried chicken bun and the pork belly bun as well as the katsu. I'm sold --not only is their AYCD menu such a great deal, the cocktails are also delicious! It's an Asian-inspired cocktail bar tucked amongst Little Italy, which is kind of funny. I don't know how this place isn't more busy, but lowkey hope it stays that way. My friend and I came on a Thursday evening at 5:30pm and were seated at the bar immediately. It got a bit more busy when we left, but still manageable. They offer an unlimited regular ($32) and premium ($39) drink menu. We decided to go for the premium, which includes more alcohol options. We ended up having 5 rounds with my favorites being Herbal Old Fashioned, Lychee Martini, Earl Grey Espresso Martini, and Four Season Daiquiri. I really love the Asian flavors in the cocktails that give it such a refreshing and unique twist on a classic. We also had a few shots too and had the best time here. The martini was refreshing with just the right amount of sweetness, and the beef oden was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I was on my way to dinner when I walked past this bar and had to stop... The sign read "$27 unlimited cocktails for one hour." Who doesn't love UNLIMITED cocktails?! The $27 covers a select list of cocktails, and for $39 (premium option) you get access to the full cocktail menu. I ended up sitting upstairs, so service was a bit on the slower side. It might be faster if you're at the bar. They also offer light bites, which looks delicious. I got there around 5 PM on a Thursday and it was pretty chill at first, but by the time we left it was packed. Definitely go early if you want a seat. The music, the vibe, everything was gre. Neither of us really noticed where it was exactly when we agreed to meet here and so we were both thrown off by the fact that it's literally right smack in Little Italy. A few months later I went and they increased it to $27/hr. But honestly I would recommend the food options they have. The food, which is mostly Japanese-inspired, is also delicious. I really enjoyed the Taiwanese-Tea cocktail and the Rose Gin Sour. They were pretty as well as tasty. I'd also recommend the small bites, especially the pork belly skewers and the fried oysters which were crunchy, yummy and out of this world. My adult daughter shared the meal and drinks with me . We also ordered a large bowl of assorted fish cakes to share which were as delicious as they were eye-catching. It was very filling and beautifully presented. There's usually seating in the rear of the bar but on the night we visited it was being reserved for an event. So we and everyone else who came in sat at the bar. The bartenders were awesome. Honestly, I miss the bao place that was here before.. Was excited to try the new place as they slightly renovated and changed the whole vibe of the place. There was only one person working when we went so the service was VERY slow and because we sat upstairs, half the time we were just staring him down in hopes that he will notice us.. The drinks that we got did not taste like we expected based off the descriptions from the menu, and the skewers seemed very undercooked and wasn't that hot (temperature). The bacon was way too long and we had to chew SO much.. it was also hard to cut it into pieces because it was so undercooked.. The corn wasn't anything fancy and literally just tasted like.. corn. I did like the corn ribs but nothing special. We also got the beef udon 2/10 it was not good and not worth the $17. We came in because we were going to do the unlimited $27 an hour aycd but we were notified in store it was only mon-thurs. Super misleading on their part because they don't mention it on the website. I also got the bacon enoki skewers for $9, not worth it imo. Nothing special about it once again. For drinks I got the hibiscus margarita which was superrr sweet. You couldn't taste the oolong in the oolong whiskey highball. The rose gin sour and lychee martini was alright. For $17 a cocktail, I'd rather go somewhere else. Service wasn't that great either. It wasn't busy but they didn't seem attentive at all. There's not a lot of seating as well. If you're going to come with a big group, you should make a reservation for the two tables in the back. Tucked in on Mulberry Street in between the tourist-trap Italian red-sauce joints and the tourist merch shops is Huuma, a new café/bar/tearroom/restaurant concept from the owners of Antidote (Williamsburg) and Nemesis (Flatiron). They have a full bar, tea drinks, a nice happy hour, and killer food. Stopped by for lunch and tried the fried oysters, corn ribs, king prawn skewer, and two of their donburi options. The oysters were fried beautifully and tasted very fresh (4 to an order for $8). The highlight was the dongpo pork don which was absolutely fantastic. We had the tasty crispy fish don as well, and I'd imagine their tonkatsu and tori katsu bowls are up to the same standard. All the donburi options are $12 - I could definitely see myself coming here for lunch on a regular basis. read more

So rare to find an all-you-can-drink place in NYC. This quiet little bar has a generous menu of custom cocktails in two tiers. Pay one price and it's all you can drink for an hour. They're precise in measurement so you're not getting watered down drinks, but the bottles are definitely not top shelf - maybe even below middle shelf, as I have not heard of any of the labels behind the bar. Some of the drinks can be on the sweeter side, but that's probably more appealing to the area of Little Italy it's located at. Good place to kill an hour and I'll continue to visit. read more

Great spot that I stumbled across! The food was cheap and delicious! We had the luroufan and the tonkatsu. Both were super good and affordable, i would go again just for that. The drinks were also really delicious. The Highball I had seemed to be like their version of a long island iced tea, but it actually tasted so good. The ambience was also really cool, with a very unique hippo motif. Very fun just looking around at the decor. The one thing that could be improved was the service. I think they just recently opened so the service wasn't a well piled machine yet, but I think they can get there soon. We just had to wait a long while for our order to be taken, and our appetizer was missed. read more
