Freestone fits that bill. I was driving back from the Snoqualmie resort this am, it was beautiful and sunny and I was looking forward to popping into some place on the Main Street for a bagel and coffee in the sunshine. We chose Freestone... The staff here was so beyond dismissive, it passed into categorically rude. It was so notable, when I went back inside to grab my bagel, we just decided to leave and go down to the river front park instead. There was no reason for it, it was unprompted and super off putting. If you want to stay in business, I'd suggest you coach the staff on maybe basic hospitality? No paying customer should be made to feel like a burden for simply walking Into and ordering at your cafe. If you're a patron visiting snoqualmie, I would skip this place and try one of the other picks in town.

We came the next day and ordered a few drinks and pastries and everything except my drink went immediately into the trash out front. I love a cardamom roll but these were basically hockey pucks that tasted more than a few days old yet they were over $5 each. The drip coffee was straight up luke warm and the espressos beans for my cappuccino were definitely burned. I hate wasting money on things I don't enjoy and this was $30 down the drain. I was just confused because we had such a good experience the time before.

SUCKS! Slow, lazy, disorganized. I placed my online order at 4:49 on Sunday, Dec 14th, and arrived…read moreat 5:10 for a 5:12 "READY" time on the App. At 5:14 food not ready still. Only ONE person in line at this time. One cook on the grill. I figure my order is being worked on. NOPE. The guy finished grilling and went in the back! TWO GRILL. Grill is unmanned, even with order TICKETS waiting! WTHeck! He went on moving supplies around in the back will my "READY" time passed. I WAS OBVIOUSLY WAITING ON IT since the ONLY person in there besides ONE person at the counter. A women came from the back and started to the grill but got pulled to do something else by the manager (I assume based on him telling others what to do) to get supplies for the front line. 6 people had come in by now and out of 5 employees, 4 were working the line WHILE NOTHING was happening on the grill! The woman finally starts my order. She was SLOW AND SHE SCREWED UP! It has onions and peppers when ordered as NO ONIONS, NO PEPPERS! She took forever and STILL COULD NOT READ the order right. She appeared pregnant but that is not a DISABILITY that impacts brain functions. FINALLY READY at 5:32 TWENTY MINUTES after the "ready" time! 43 MINUTES total because of bad management. The manager just put it in a bag and LET IT SIT! I had to ASK if it was my order. Previous orders the called the persons name. Part of the issue may be this rather large guy, he seemed to be on spectrum, and was not able to communicate to the customers was waiting for the manager to direct his every move. One of the customers he was helping got frustrated after asking him to REPEAT himself 3 times. He even said "what does that even mean?" "What are you saying?" The guy originally on the grill said "he wants to know if you want pickles." NO WORDS like that came out of this guys mouth. WHY is he working the FRONT line if not able to talk and COMMUNICATE? So they focused on the line and let the grill sit! I WAS WAITING so IN LINE TOO! The LAME manager tried to say they got swamped. I SHOULD have recorded the clown show. They got swamped AFTER my order was AT THE GRILL and AFTER the male cook WALKED AWAY leaving it outstanding. Sad part, I was there on the 2nd of December about 3 pm and the woman and I believe the same pregnant woman were working and they WERE FAST and EFFICIENT! The "model looking" manager who probably is the local FB quarterback too seemed to be trying to control rather than MANAGE the employees.

Was a beautiful sunny fall day and decided to go to the Snoqualmie Subway for a quick late lunch…read more This was at 3:45 p.m. on Sunday October 5th! No hello or signs of being welcomed in. Felt like we were intruding into someone's home. The one and only employee was clearly annoyed when we walked in. Probably due to interrupting his time sitting at a table and being on his phone. The first sandwich was a a simple 6 inch tuna. Every part of the process seemed to be infuriating for him. Granted we were the only customers in the store. Asked for toasted... tray was aggressively thrown in the oven. Oil and vinegar was asked to be put on after the vegetable toppings went on, but that request was ignored. We asked for what we wanted only to have the toppings thrown on the sandwich. The second sandwich was the same experience. We felt like we were inconveniencing the employee and were just counting the seconds until we could get out of there. And I'm sure he was doing the same. I get having a bad day, but this was on another level of discomfort being so unwelcome in the store. I would be so humiliated as an owner to have such an unfriendly and impatient employee. After the sandwiches were completed we presented our coupon which was clearly valid and was for a free six inch sub alongside the purchase of any footlong sub. The coupon was denied and there was no reasonable explanation as to why it was not accepted, as we have been many times before and used the coupons with no issue (the coupon was also not expired so there was no reason it shouldn't have been accepted). All communication with the employee was a mumbled frustrated grunting and so we cut our losses and payed for both subs which were made with no care or integrity. Didn't think a visit to a subway could dampen a mood so significantly. Or course we moved on with our day, but it was a remarkable experience. Not in a good way! I would reconsider who you are hiring because we will not be revisiting if this employee is working.

I think the owners should put the bone in their mouth while eating dinner and see how they feel. The Subway legal team will only do something if an injury is sustained. There has been a change in ownership/management, and the food is better. It was always good, but…read moreit's gone up a notch. I get takeout about once a month from here as part of our weekly rotation of "I don't feel like cooking tonight." Typically we get a hamburger and a cheeseburger, fries and onion rings. We split the very large portion of fries and the onion rings as well. Last night the guest in front of me ordered the jalapeño burger and I thought "Jalapeño? I didn't know they had that!" It's listed on the menu, but when you go to a place for a long time (for us, since the early 1990s), you kinda stop looking at the menu. So I tried the jalapeño burger, and I very pleased that they didn't just throw raw slices on the burger but instead grilled them a bit. It packed some heat, but without that raw grassy taste that you get from an uncooked pepper. The fries are usually quite quite good, and the onions rings can be a bit too well-done, so we ask for them "not too crispy!" and they're much easier to eat. You can get sauces such as ranch dressing for the onion rings at an extra cost. Other condiments like mustard, mayo, and ketchup are either on the burger itself or come as a free add-on. They have bison chili, and I've always wanted to try it, so I'll get that next time. The place is like one of the old-time burger shacks that you found on the side of the US highway system back in the 1940s, 50s, and 60s, which makes sense, because the main drag through North Bend used to be US 10 (which is replaced by I-90 3 miles to the south). It has a bare bones inside seating area, a front patio that is great in the summer but yikes it's cold in the winter, and their public bathrooms are available only from the outside. Prices tend to be midrange to a bit higher than a chain fast food place, but the food is better IMO and you're supporting a local business.

My first time here, although I visit Northbend quite often. This is a cute spot that I have been meaning to check it out for quite sometime. I was the only one in line and ordered a double hamburger. I looked away from the girl at register for a moment to double check the menu to complete my order, when I looked back I caught her giving mocking hand gestures towards me suggesting she was extremely impatient that I was reading the menu. She tried to cover it up, but the point was taken. Again, my first time here and nobody was in line behind me. I was trying to see if they had a combo option, which they do not. Not a positive experience, to say the least. I will not be back. Extemely rude. I'm sure others have had positive experiences, but there is no way I can justify supporting this business again with that type of customer service.
