    Philly cheesesteak Sandwich
    Lori F.

We walked in at about 4pm on a Tuesday afternoon. It was pretty quiet there were only 4 other customers in the building. It was pretty simple and clean decor inside. We were greeted immediately and sat down. The server came over and handed us our menus and asked our drink order. They were out of diet Dr Pepper but we got Diet Pepsi. We checked out the menu and decided. The server returned and did let us know they were out of the chicken cheesesteak and the shrimp. That was fine since we were both getting the Philly cheesesteak with 1/2 tots and 1/2 fries order. I did ask for light onions and peppers but extra mushrooms, she said that was possible. We only waited about 5-7 minutes, they did have Elvis-esque music playing on the radio. When we received our food and it was so fresh. The fries were crispy and even though the tots looked overcooked they were NOT, they were soft inside and so perfect. I will definitely just next time get the whole order of tots next time, It was $27 for both our drinks and both our cheesesteaks and the tots/fries. I would definitely make another trip here to try the build your own burger, fried shrimp, shrimp burger, po boy or one of their salads and definitely to try their frozen desserts! With this being fast food it was a pleasant meal and I will definitely try this place again!

Nestled deep in the heart of a Northside industrial area, Hwy 55 is the new hot spot for lunch and dinner. Offerings include various Burgers, Cheesesteaks, and ice cream desserts, including Milkshakes. Ambience: It's giving......"if Steak and Shake was given new life, a face-lift, botox, and a shiny new Tesla" vibes. The roomy retro red booths can comfortably seat 6, not to mention additional counter and patio seating. The open kitchen gives you a glimpse of your food being freshly made to order, and the army of staff working like a well-oiled machine. I've been here twice in 2 days (don't judge), so I was able to try an assortment of goodies. PRO TIP: IF you'd like to try more than one item, order a la carte from the "Lil Menu" on the back. Lil' John Boy and Billy Bacon Burger: Cheese, mustard, chili, bacon, a crispy onion ring, and tangy grillin' sauce. This was my hands down favorite, and I'll be ordering extra of that tasty chili on it going forward. The thick sliced bacon put it over the top. Lil' Cheesesteak: Sliced steak with sautéed mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, and choice of cheese. Unfortunately, I wasn't asked what kind of cheese I wanted, so mine had American cheese slices on it (I prefer provolone). It was, however, well-seasoned and flavorful, so I'd be willing to give it another try. The Lil' Moose Cheesesteak: Tender Chicken with Crumbled Bacon, Ranch Dressing, Provolone, and American Cheese. Although I had a hard time finding the bacon flavor, it was overall a highly satisfying and tasty sandwich. Pro Tip: Hwy 55 is open 7 days a week, 11am-9pm. I recommend you get there as early as possible because when noon hits, so does the lunch crowd. For take-out, order at the walk-up counter. For dine-in, have a seat, and a server will arrive shortly. DONT skip on the ice cream, my chocolate shake was scrumptious! Till next time, my fellow Yeeps, thanks for reading, and as always....SYOY!

My first trip here was about a month or two ago to pick up dinner. Went through the drive-thru and noticed there was no speaker menu to order from. Got to the window and that's when I was handed a menu. Luckily I already saw the menu online and knew what to order. They had me roll up and wait paying for someone to bring the food out. My wife and I both ordered a cheesesteak sub with tots. My son got the kid's burger meal. Food was not that great. Not for $35. Their orangeade tasted like orange juice with sugar added. Not very refreshing. A week or two later I noticed my credit card statement was $10 higher than what my receipt reflected. I remembered after paying they have you sign the receipt. I didn't place anything for a tip. Contacted corporate about this and they connected me with the store manager which handled this issue. Just be cautious.

saw this newer place as I drove back home and decided that a Philly cheesesteak would hit the spot. I drove to the drive-through and there was no menu or speaker. I guess they want to be personalized at the window so I drove up and ordered a Philly cheesesteak loaded with fries and a drink to give it the full try. I was also surprised they have their own signature highway Sauce and I decided that that would also be a good addition .After waiting a few minutes and having to remind them about my order, they brought the food out and it was good. I definitely will go back and try the other varieties. I sadly did not get the custard I ordered but next time I'm sure they'll give it to me.

I went through the drive-thru and there was no speaker or menu system. They gave me a menu at the window. I ordered fairly quickly. Got the mini burger and tots. It was around $10. The service was not the friendliest. Worker didn't seem to enjoy their job and did not smile. The food came out in around 7 minutes after they told me to pull up. The actual food was very underwhelming. Burger was VERY small. Wasn't expecting that. Smaller than Five Guys' mini burger. It almost tasted undercooked. Didn't look like other customer photos. Flavor was below average. Easily one of the worst burgers I've ever had. I have no desire to return after today's experience. They have a lot of room for improvement here.

    Cheesesteak and fries. Delicious!

Great service, awesome cheesesteak and good atmosphere. My server was so very helpful and he it was busy in there. He ensured I had everything I need. Highly recommend!

Food - good burger actual sized juicy patty not a wafer thin pressed one, very soft bun. Fries well seasoned maybe a little heavy on salt. But everything came out promptly and tasted very nice. Service - great above and beyond checked up on 3 times during my sit down meal. Prompt refills and kind demeanor all around, even had a server do a little jog as they were told an order was up, cause they were on it! (I do wish my burger was more expensive and the servers/cooks are given a better wage to keep them longer so tipping is taken out of the equation) Ambiance - was nice almost 1980s ice cream and burger shop, clean, and welcoming.

The shop was completely empty when we arrived, so there was no reason for us to feel rushed. However, the employee hurried us through placing our orders. One person in our group was in the restroom and hadn't had a chance to decide what they wanted yet, and the employee was very short and impatient with us. When we asked to sample one of the ice cream flavors, she simply responded, "Okay," and came across as unfriendly and annoyed. While we were ordering, another customer came in, and we noticed the employee spoke to them with the same impatient attitude, so it didn't seem like it was just our group. The biggest issue came when the last person in our group ordered a sorbet. It was frozen so solid that it was impossible to scoop or eat. We let the employee know, and she said she would "soften it," which apparently meant microwaving it. She brought it back, but it was still hard as a rock and still wasn't edible. Unfortunately, the customer service overshadowed the visit. A friendly attitude and serving products that are ready to eat go a long way. We hope this location improves both its service and the quality of the experience for future customers.

This charming time capsule doesn't do plastic, and honestly, that's part of its old-school charm. On a humid Florida day, you'll likely find a line stretching out front, but trust me, it's worth it. Think of it as the universe's way of making you savor the anticipation. When you finally get your hands on that luscious, creamy goodness, you'll realize it's not just ice cream--it's an experience. Even the pickiest ice cream snob would have to admit: this place is the real deal. Seating? Let's just say it's not Dreamette's strong suit. But who cares? There's a few tables but we grabbed our treats and embraced the tradition of driveway ice cream. There's something about eating ice cream in your car or perched on the bumper that makes it taste even better. Bonus: no judgment when you accidentally wear half of it on your face. A word of caution: your eyes may be bigger than your stomach. These portion sizes are not for the faint of heart. That "medium" cone? It's basically a dairy skyscraper.
