Was in Miami for the night and stayed at the Hyatt Centric Brickell. The location is excellent as it was walking distance to the water and nearby restaurants. Check in time is at 4pm but our room wasn't ready when we got in. Due to the busy holiday , the cleaning crew needed more time to flip the rooms as other guests were checking in and out. We weren't the only guests waiting for our rooms... there were several others. So we went upstairs to the bar/restaurant on the second floor to kill time with our drink vouchers. By the time our room was ready, it was almost 6pm. Because of this, the front desk gave us more drink vouchers and gave us a late checkout of 130pm instead of the standard 11am. We stayed in the junior suite and it was spacious. It came with 2 Queen size beds, and pull out sofa bed and an outdoor balcony with an amazing view of the water and nearby hotels. If you want more stunning views, take a dip in the rooftop pool. If you're driving your own car here, take advantage of their valet parking. It's $40 but it's actually way cheaper compared to the parking garage across the street which was $60.

I booked a day room at the Hyatt Centric Brickell Miami through ResortPass and it was a great experience. From the moment I checked in, the staff was friendly and made me feel totally welcome--even as a day guest. The room was sleek, modern, and super comfortable, with a gorgeous view of the Brickell area and bay. I ordered room service from the onsite restaurant, Caña. I got the Caesar salad with avocado, bacon, grilled chicken, and a hard-boiled egg, and it hit the spot. I spent some time working in the room, then headed to the rooftop pool, which was beautiful and peaceful. I also checked out the gym, and it's way more equipped than I expected--clean, spacious, and stocked with everything from cardio machines to free weights. If you're looking for a relaxing daycation, work-from-hotel setup, or just a change of scenery, this spot is a hidden gem in Brickell. I'll 100% be back.

First off friendly service! I stayed on the 14th floor and had some amazing views. The hotel is relatively clean with some minor issues. Rooftop pool on the 19th floor it does get breezy and cool up there! Cana the restaurant is located on the 2nd floor and I must say it was great! This hotel is located centrally to Downtown Miami! Upon check-in the nice front desk attendant gave me complimentary drink tickets and 20%off dining voucher at Cana!

I think I've found my new favorite. Hyatt Centric was a great stay! The staff was amazing & accommodating. The hotel is beautifully decorated. My room was clean, spacious and airy. The bed was very comfortable and I LOVED my view. The only issue I experienced was a slow drainage in the bathroom sink. I informed the front desk team. I forgot my speaker and there was a JBL in my room to the rescue lol. Thank you so much Melissa ;) The location was very walkable as well. Near Biscayne Key walking trail. There is a mall that's about a 10 min walk away. Plenty of convenience stores and restaurants in the area.

Had a great stay at the Hyatt Centric Brickell. I liked the location of the hotel especially since La Mar restaurant (this is a must) was a short walk away. There are several shopping malls/centers within walking distance with plenty of restaurants to choose from. The outdoor pool wasn't crowded during our stay, and I have to say the water was so warm - maybe a little too warm. I do like cold water on really hot days. They have a bar/stand where you can order food/drinks. They should probably have a second person to help the bartender as the wait for food was long. Our room was clean and modern with a nice balcony with great views of the bay. You do have to request housekeeping service and our body wash and conditioner was empty and was never refilled. As a Hyatt Explorist/Globalist, you do receive two welcome drinks which you can use at their bar on the 2nd floor. We did enjoy our Rum Old Fashioned and Mojitos. Bartenders was really nice and made some great drinks.

Stayed at this hotel in Downtown Miami and this looks like a pretty new modern hotel. The employees were pretty nice and friendly here. We had breakfast comps so each day we got to order something during breakfast. The rooms were pretty large and the beds were comfortable. The rooftop pool has a pretty alright view but the pool itself looked a little boring. Also, each time we came up here there are no towels at all. What was the craziest thing was that every day the elevators were broken. There are three elevators and sometimes two elevators were not working. On the last day of our stay, none of the elevators were working. Overall I have to say it was an experience but of course, new hotels will start to have some issues along the way.

This is one of the hotels where Disney Cruises has the option for ground transportation to be picked up. It's such short drive to the port, but you primarily get this to be in the earlier boarding groups. Now, going back to the hotel. Great location (although it would be nice to see the port with the ships), and Brickell is so clean and newish downtown area. The Brickell mall (can't remember the name - with Saks and lots of restaurants is a 8-10 minute walk). So many restaurants within 5 minutes. The room was quite spacious (bed was so comfortable) and it was great that these rooms have balconies to admire the views. They have a mini refrig too. Really liked the big bathroom with awesome shower, but two knocks, not enough towel hooks and no line to hang wet bathing suits. Fast wifi too. We spent the entire afternoon at the rooftop pool. Was for sure the highlight. It was large and heated and even had a separate hot tub. Had no problem finding lounge chairs. They even have a small bar to order drinks and order food. I got the cubano sandwich and mojito and caipirinha and was very hearty and filling and cake with a boatload of fries). Only wish they can pump some music! Went to Cana their hotel restaurant (see separate review) for breakfast. Good hotel option and pre and post cruise stay!

Had such a nice stay here! I stayed here for a quick work trip and I'm so happy I did. There are a lot of hotel options in the area, but I loved my stay here. Rooms were exactly as pictured - clean, roomy, and modern. Nice little balcony area as well. The shower was HUGE and featured some pretty good products, which I was very happy about since I didn't bring my own shampoo or conditioner :) The rooftop area was gorgeous. I missed the happy hour (which lasts until 6pm) but wish I could have made it. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and kindly remembered all of my scheduled wake up calls. Much appreciated! The location was PERFECT - there's a small cafe/deli close by, and the hotel itself is super close to the water. I was steps away from a ton of great restaurants as well as my office. All in all, a wonderful stay. I would definitely stay here again when in Brickell.

This hotel was the perfect "Staycation" for our 24th Anniversary! We live in Broward but decided to go to Miami through the lens of a tourist. Bayside was the perfect choice. The staff were friendly and accomodating. The restaurant was beautiful and the food amazing. The pool was a treat. The location great. Our view of the Bay from the 18th floor was to die for!!

Disappointing experience for the reviews and price point. We were woken up at two in the morning with a loud party yelling in the hallway. They were there roughly an hour. The breakfast/room service at cana is lacking at best: over priced and very small portions The quality of the room is shabby at best, with small touches added in an attempt to make it look classy.

If you choose to stay here you must book a corner room not the other ones...it's the only way to enjoy the room and views of the water. Large room and very comfortable stay we would come back but ONLY for the corner rooms. The lady in the front (she is Russian) was so amazing giving her 5 stars for service.

    Isabella K.

Gorgeous hotel with super nice water views. The best part is the huge rooftop pool shared with the Panorama (biggest building in Miami). The area is super walkable. You have Downtown Brickell as well as Brickell Key & Brickell City Centre in walking distance. They have amazing drinks at the 2nd floor restaurant and there's also a bar conveniently located by the rooftop pool. Valley is very quick - I would pick that option as the street parking is scarce.

Walking distance to a Publix, the mall, bakery, etc. The hotel checkin is on the 6th floor, the first floor is mainly a seating area and concierge. They offer free hot breakfast, mini fridge and microwave in the room, cruise shuttle at time of this review is priced at $12 with pick up times at 10a, 11a, and 12p. If you miss breakfast, they had breakfast bags with fruit and other grab and go items. You will need your room key to access the laundry room and guest floors. There is no carpet in the room I was in (basic king- not the elite level) and pets are not allowed. Service animals only. The hotel has a lobby bar, three restaurants are located right next door (Sproutz, Batch Gastropub, and Shahs of Kabob). I dined at Sproutz and Shahas of Kabob and both are good, but they are not affiliated with the hotel. I stayed 3 nights prior to my cruise and I really enjoyed my stay. The air conditioner worked with no issues, pillows are very soft, bed was firm, but not uncomfortable and I slept better in that bed, than my own. There is a master light switch to control the overhead light in the entry and bathroom. You can operate them separately (it just takes some flipping of lights to figure it out). Decent water pressure and nice, hot water at night. Morning time I suggest getting your shower in early. Hot water is still present but not as hot as it was the night before. Tip- I took my shower at 5/6am the morning of checkout and the water was hot and perfect for a nice shower before leaving for cruise. Staff was always smiling, friendly and willing to assist. Carlos at the concerige desk is very helpful, ask for his recommendations and he is more than happy to assist. The 7th floor has the laundry facility, but many machines were out of order. This is going on my pre cruise hotel list because it was the perfect hotel and the perfect location. It was about a 15min ride to the cruise port and airport. My gf and I stopped through here on our way out before boarding our flights later in the afternoon. If you're toting your luggage and not a hotel guest, you will have to find another hotel to store your luggage while enjoying this most decadent brunch experience. Luckily we arrived early enough to our reservations to sort that out. Reservations are a must if you don't want to wait. The restaurant is gorgeous with various spaces designed differently but keeps to the exotic Asian theme. Dining in the atrium near the water feature in the middle with stage for the musicians is where we had our experience. Olga was our server. She brought us our special beverages not available at the bar: Bloody Mary's and endless bubbly in our glasses The offerings here are more than I can name, but there is something to satisfy every craving. The favorite for me is the caviar bar. It comes with all the proper fixings on a blini with Crème fraîche. Do you need a vodka shot to go with? Yes, that's also available also at the caviar station. Fresh raw oysters, clams or shrimp cocktail is available in abundance with everything else here. The ceviche was great. I passed on all the various noodles but had to have some lamb curry and basmati rice- delicious! I had some Peking Duck and leg of lamb at the meat station. The filet mignon and lamb chops was ordered and brought to the table. The leg of lamb and filet were slightly dry but still good. The lamb chops with chimichurri sauce was amazing- nuances of vibrant flavors. Assorted fresh fruits were a colorful collection of enticements. I saw some papaya and enjoyed its fresh, sweet juiciness. I am not a dessert person but had to try the key like pie. Then of course, the matcha dessert is a sitting temptation next to the pie. So, my dessert spoils were more than intended. What the hell right? Lol That was the sweet ending to my Setai brunch. There was so much more such as bread, fried stuff, eggs, bagel station, toast etc. One can only eat so much. I stuck to enjoying my favorites. The experience is pricey but so worth it. It is truly the best brunch experience I've ever had. - better than Vegas and a cruise ship!! I always have to experience a Setai brunch whenever in Miami!

First, the good, it's an awesome location on the southern tip of Brickell Key. The pool was wonderful and gets mostly continuous sun exposure during the day. My balcony faced west so I had sun during the afternoon as well (perfect for a tan). Honestly, I never felt like I needed to leave the resort being a pool guy. The base price room was spacious and mostly clean with a separate shower and tub. The bad- the service wasn't great here. I felt like anytime I needed something I had to ask 3-4 times before staff would remember (including freebies that were part of the room rate). The one time I asked a concierge for assistance he was super brash telling me to go talk to the front desk. The property felt old and in need of a renovation (again it's being demolished so not surprising in that context). Also, a lot of the ads for the resort promote its beach which no longer exists- it's now a model home for the condos going in. The hotel is pricey and gratuity is auto-included at 20% for everything which would be fine if the service was better and they didn't ask for additional tip on top of it. I wish I stayed here 20+ years ago because it felt like in its hay day this was a swanky hotel. Today, it's tired, on its last months, and the staff really don't seem like 5-star talent (as a benefit to the doubt most people would be unmotivated if things were shutting down too). Part of me is excited to try the new hotel whenever it opens, part of me wonders if the poor service is just part of the brand. The gym was tacky- literally they just through equipment in 6ish guest rooms with the doors propped open. Kind of funny but not 5-star hotel caliber.

The Brickell area is a vibe, walkable and full of restaurants and shops, which makes it a perfect pre- or post-cruise stay. The hotel's proximity to the cruise port was a huge plus. Check-in is self-service, but assistance is available if needed, which made the process easy and convenient. The king bed does take up most of the room, stretching from the window to the wall, so the room feels a bit compact--but it's thoughtfully designed. The sink is located in the main room across from the bathroom, and I actually found the setup pretty functional. The shelves around the sink were stocked with a washcloth, hand towel, hair dryer, and tissues, plus hand soap and lotion at the end of the counter. There was also enough counter space for toiletries. There's an open closet area and a nice touch of wall art, and the laminated wood flooring gave the room a clean, modern feel. One of my favorite features was the in-room iPad that controls everything--such a fun tech-forward touch. I also absolutely loved the decor throughout the hotel. The colors are vibrant, playful, and stylish without feeling overdone. The second-floor seating areas were spacious and inviting, and the rooftop/pool space was another highlight. There's also a bar on the second floor with outdoor seating, which is a great spot to relax and people-watch. Overall, this hotel has a fun atmosphere, smart use of technology, and an unbeatable location. I'd definitely stay here again, especially for a quick stay before a cruise.

The location is fantastic,…read moreright in the heart of Brickell, close to restaurants, nightlife, and public transit, which makes it really convenient for exploring the area. That said, the room itself was extremely small. It had all the essentials, but there wasn't much space to move around or unpack, so it felt a bit cramped, especially for a longer stay. If you're planning just a short visit or don't mind compact accommodations, it works, but it's definitely something to keep in mind. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made the stay smoother despite the limited room size. Overall, I'd say M Citizen is a great choice for its location and vibe, but pack light and don't expect spacious quarters.

We stayed in a two-bedroom suite with a bay view, and it was huge, complete with a sofa bed, full kitchen, and very comfortable beds. The amenities were great as well, and we enjoyed some time by the pool during our stay. That said, there were a couple of things that took away from the experience. Upon check-in, we were informed of a $200 per day security deposit, which was not clearly disclosed during booking. On top of that, about $67 per day is automatically kept to cover amenities like the gym, pool, and Wi-Fi, which I personally feel should already be included in the rate. Another downside was the pool bar. The drinks were honestly not good, we tried one of the tropical frozen options and couldn't even finish it. Also, while not directly rude to us, the server seemed a bit disorganized and made a comment about another guest that came across as unprofessional. Overall, it's still a nice place for a fun weekend getaway, and I would recommend it, but just be aware of the additional fees and manage expectations around the pool service.

The location is perfectly…read morecentral, making it easy to get anywhere in the city, and the property itself truly feels like a luxury home away from home. What stood out to me immediately was the leadership behind this operation. I had the pleasure of speaking directly with Mr. Ramirez, the manager, and he is the kind of leader you rarely encounter. His presence reflects confidence, pride, and a deep commitment to excellence. You can tell he doesn't just manage--he actively develops his team, sets a clear standard, and leads with intention. The consistency in service--from housekeeping to valet to registration--is a direct reflection of his leadership, attention to detail, and investment in his staff. In a busy, high-class establishment, that level of cohesion and professionalism is truly impressive. Nichole, the concierge, is gracious, kind, and warm, with exceptional active listening skills. She makes every interaction feel personalized and genuinely welcoming, embodying the friendly professionalism that defines this hotel. The rooms are modern, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, complete with a full refrigerator, stove, microwave, and even a toaster--everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, providing one of the best nights of sleep I've had while traveling. The rooms are also built so well that you don't hear any outside noise, making it feel like your own private apartment. We stayed in a skyline-view room with a balcony, and the view of the city was absolutely stunning. The amenities were just as impressive--the pool is large and beautiful, and the hot tub is spacious and incredibly relaxing. I also appreciated the added layer of security--the key card system only allows access to your specific floor, which makes you feel safe and well taken care of. Everything about this stay exceeded expectations, and the photos online are completely accurate--they truly reflect the level of quality you'll experience. I sincerely hope this review reaches the brand management team at the Elser Hotel, as it highlights the exceptional leadership, dedication, and uncompromising attention to detail demonstrated by Mr. Ramirez, along with Nichole and the entire team who consistently elevate the guest experience to a truly outstanding standard. I would highly recommend the Elser Hotel to anyone visiting Miami and will absolutely be returning.
