Excellent hotel! Beautiful and comfortable accommodations! I enjoyed a four night stay there this past weekend. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Basically, we flew from Detroit into FLL on our way to Miami dock terminal A. I thought it would be smart to spend true night just up the road, in Miami. It really wasn't. Might have worked out better to uber from Hollywood to the dock. I learned there's mass confusion in so many Miami hotels on a Sunday morning. Cruising day. This Hyatt was over run by young people dressed to the nines for a Moana musical. Hundreds of people in the lobby, restaurant and walking on the grounds. Didn't phase the cast and crew at the Hyatt. They dealt with the adversity like a walk in the park. Calmly and professionally. The room was pristine. Beds comfortable. Shower pressure more than adequate. They even offer quite a few cable channels. A solid five starts tonight. 12/25

Great location. Really friendly staff. Our room was really nice. The breakfast buffet was awesome. Highly recommend.

Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the room had a nice view. Interestingly, there's no 13th floor--it jumps straight to 14. The hotel is very well-located, close to the underground tunnels connecting to the parking garage, convention center, and public transportation, making it convenient for getting around. This is a great spot for conferences, with well-set-up terrace-level conference rooms and excellent amenities. The conference snacks were a highlight, with unique options like poke and a popcorn bar. However, the general food was just average--dry meats and bland sandwiches, typical of standard hotel catering. The biggest issue was cleanliness. Upon check-in, we found towels left on the bathroom floor from the previous guest, even though fresh towels were provided. There was also leftover food in the fridge. During our stay, housekeeping remade the beds but left used towels on the floor overnight, though they did provide new ones. The bathroom experience was mixed--the shower heated quickly, which was a plus, but the liquid body soap was impractical without a loofah, and bar soap had to be requested separately. The walls were thin, making it easy to hear noise from neighboring rooms, and we could even feel vibrations from kids jumping on beds next door. Another downside was the balcony, which is welded shut, so there's no option to step outside. WARNING: Do NOT use the valet! The valet at the front is NOT affiliated with the Hyatt and charges a ridiculous $55 per day. Instead, park at the conference center for $20 per day. The valet staff is extremely rude--rather than answering questions, they rush up and try to snatch your things. They also try to keep pricing a secret, requiring multiple asks to get a straight answer. Worst of all, they don't tell you where your car will be parked. A friend who used their service instead of the conference center had to wait 30-45 minutes just to get his car back, despite urgently needing to leave. Avoid them at all costs--0 for the valet. Final Thoughts: Great for conferences with excellent amenities. Ideal location with underground tunnel access to parking, public transit, and the convention center. Not ideal for a relaxing stay--cleanliness issues, thin walls, and a locked balcony. DO NOT use the valet--overpriced, rude, and slow. Good for business, but not great for comfort.

Wow. The Hyatt Regency Miami has been amazing. The location is exceptional along the Miami river with stunning views. The three rooms are spacious and fully equipped for a comforting stay. The customer service here is one of the best. We dealt with Chris Johnson, the operations manager, and he has gone above and beyond to make our stay memorable I highly recommend this hotel if you're going on a cruise it is only a 10 minute drive and a low priced Uber or shuttle. We also dined at the hotel Grill for dinner and then for brunch. Very pleased with the food. We would stay here again without any hesitation.

Stayed here for work. Location is good with a Whole Foods across the street, restaurants, and bars in the area, and the ability to walk a nice path by the water. Staff wasn't very friendly, checking in, seemed to have no interest in my business. Fitness center could be worst Hyatt gym I've been to anywhere. In a tiny room in the basement, with cleaning staff constantly entering and exiting to get to a supply closet. Rooms are average, clean, but just outdated.

We stayed here for one night before a cruise and were upgraded to a room with a pretty sick view of the river right outside the hotel. We could see the bridge going up and down and all the traffic downtown. It was quiet and interesting to watch. The room itself was nothing impressive. It seemed kind of put together as an after thought, like there was a fridge, but it wasn't even pushed back in the right spot, and the bathroom was very unexciting. The shower wasn't super nice, the shower head was whatever. I ended up ordering from the restaurant downstairs, and the food was pretty good, although pricey and for small amounts. I also got there and asked for extra parmesan cheese, and the lady gave me so much attitude. It was a turn off. Finally, I asked the front desk for a box of tissues on our way out because my 4 year old had a bad runny nose, and the guy at the front desk basically told me he couldn't get me one, and that I could go back upstairs and find a housekeeper to give me one if I wanted. It just felt a little lazy and unhelpful. I've stayed at a lot of Hyatts and that usually is not the experience I have!

Fast and smooth check in after coming from a redeye. I appreciated that a room was readily available early in the morning. The lobby was grand and pretty with high ceilings. There was a snacks and to go market to was open pretty late. There were also a restaurant and a bar right next to it that we didn't get a chance to try since I only stayed here for one night before a cruise. I only booked this place to sleep and chose Hyatt Regency for the better-priced Hyatt within the area. However, for a Hyatt regency I must say that I expected a little more in terms of having more toiletries readily available. Everything had to be requested including robe, slippers, and other simple toiletries. The only things available were body lotion, shampoo/soap/conditioner, ironing board, and hair dryer-- very basic. Stayed in a double bed room, bed was comfy but only came with 2 pillows each. The room was outdated. I would have appreciated a full body mirror in the room. The open closet area was pretty large and can fit 2 open suitcases. There's a half wall that divides the room from the bathroom. Sink outside and toilet/shower separate. The room was on the 18th floor that looked like it had a balcony but you can't open the door/window. The window was also pretty dirty that you can't really see past it. If I were to come back in the area and need a place to just sleep, I'd probably still come back here for its price and location.

Walking distance to a Publix, the mall, bakery, etc. The hotel checkin is on the 6th floor, the first floor is mainly a seating area and concierge. They offer free hot breakfast, mini fridge and microwave in the room, cruise shuttle at time of this review is priced at $12 with pick up times at 10a, 11a, and 12p. If you miss breakfast, they had breakfast bags with fruit and other grab and go items. You will need your room key to access the laundry room and guest floors. There is no carpet in the room I was in (basic king- not the elite level) and pets are not allowed. Service animals only. The hotel has a lobby bar, three restaurants are located right next door (Sproutz, Batch Gastropub, and Shahs of Kabob). I dined at Sproutz and Shahas of Kabob and both are good, but they are not affiliated with the hotel. I stayed 3 nights prior to my cruise and I really enjoyed my stay. The air conditioner worked with no issues, pillows are very soft, bed was firm, but not uncomfortable and I slept better in that bed, than my own. There is a master light switch to control the overhead light in the entry and bathroom. You can operate them separately (it just takes some flipping of lights to figure it out). Decent water pressure and nice, hot water at night. Morning time I suggest getting your shower in early. Hot water is still present but not as hot as it was the night before. Tip- I took my shower at 5/6am the morning of checkout and the water was hot and perfect for a nice shower before leaving for cruise. Staff was always smiling, friendly and willing to assist. Carlos at the concerige desk is very helpful, ask for his recommendations and he is more than happy to assist. The 7th floor has the laundry facility, but many machines were out of order. This is going on my pre cruise hotel list because it was the perfect hotel and the perfect location. It was about a 15min ride to the cruise port and airport. The cruise port ride was booked for 8am, so I beat the 9am bumper car cruise port traffic. The video I posted is short and quick, but a glimpse of the room

My gf and I stopped through here on our way out before boarding our flights later in the afternoon. If you're toting your luggage and not a hotel guest, you will have to find another hotel to store your luggage while enjoying this most decadent brunch experience. Luckily we arrived early enough to our reservations to sort that out. Reservations are a must if you don't want to wait. The restaurant is gorgeous with various spaces designed differently but keeps to the exotic Asian theme. Dining in the atrium near the water feature in the middle with stage for the musicians is where we had our experience. Olga was our server. She brought us our special beverages not available at the bar: Bloody Mary's and endless bubbly in our glasses The offerings here are more than I can name, but there is something to satisfy every craving. The favorite for me is the caviar bar. It comes with all the proper fixings on a blini with Crème fraîche. Do you need a vodka shot to go with? Yes, that's also available also at the caviar station. Fresh raw oysters, clams or shrimp cocktail is available in abundance with everything else here. The ceviche was great. I passed on all the various noodles but had to have some lamb curry and basmati rice- delicious! I had some Peking Duck and leg of lamb at the meat station. The filet mignon and lamb chops was ordered and brought to the table. The leg of lamb and filet were slightly dry but still good. The lamb chops with chimichurri sauce was amazing- nuances of vibrant flavors. Assorted fresh fruits were a colorful collection of enticements. I saw some papaya and enjoyed its fresh, sweet juiciness. I am not a dessert person but had to try the key like pie. Then of course, the matcha dessert is a sitting temptation next to the pie. So, my dessert spoils were more than intended. What the hell right? Lol That was the sweet ending to my Setai brunch. There was so much more such as bread, fried stuff, eggs, bagel station, toast etc. One can only eat so much. I stuck to enjoying my favorites. The experience is pricey but so worth it. It is truly the best brunch experience I've ever had. - better than Vegas and a cruise ship!! I always have to experience a Setai brunch whenever in Miami!

First, the good, it's an awesome location on the southern tip of Brickell Key. The pool was wonderful and gets mostly continuous sun exposure during the day. My balcony faced west so I had sun during the afternoon as well (perfect for a tan). Honestly, I never felt like I needed to leave the resort being a pool guy. The base price room was spacious and mostly clean with a separate shower and tub. The bad- the service wasn't great here. I felt like anytime I needed something I had to ask 3-4 times before staff would remember (including freebies that were part of the room rate). The one time I asked a concierge for assistance he was super brash telling me to go talk to the front desk. The property felt old and in need of a renovation (again it's being demolished so not surprising in that context). Also, a lot of the ads for the resort promote its beach which no longer exists- it's now a model home for the condos going in. The hotel is pricey and gratuity is auto-included at 20% for everything which would be fine if the service was better and they didn't ask for additional tip on top of it. I wish I stayed here 20+ years ago because it felt like in its hay day this was a swanky hotel. Today, it's tired, on its last months, and the staff really don't seem like 5-star talent (as a benefit to the doubt most people would be unmotivated if things were shutting down too). Part of me is excited to try the new hotel whenever it opens, part of me wonders if the poor service is just part of the brand. The gym was tacky- literally they just through equipment in 6ish guest rooms with the doors propped open. Kind of funny but not 5-star hotel caliber.

The elevators are a bit slow, the hotel was built in 1920. Its a big elevator. The bedroom is super nice. My partner is a globalist so we got a really nice room. I wish they had a little more amenities in the bathroom like make up remover, cotton and shower cap. If they did have it, I didn't see it. I do have to say, its loud at night. I couldn't really sleep. People were still out partying at 4am. If you don't mind loud then this place is good. The view of the main road was nice, I got to people watch. They also have beach service where they bring out the chairs and have service. We didn't have time since we had to board the Royal Caribbean ship. Check out was super easy. I would recommend this place.

After a long day of travel, we received two Prosecco as soon as we checked in and arrived. Our room was upgraded and it was located right across on top of the Naked Taco where the rooftop pool is at. It's perfectly located for anything you want to do, all the good food spots, bars, places, etc. The next day we went straight to the beach and they provide complimentary beach chairs, towels and umbrellas upon request and you just walk yourself to the beach with them. There's nothing like Miami Beach! The water was perfect and it felt so good to just defrost on the sand and dive into the gorgeous turquoise water. After a few hours at the beach, we went back, enjoyed late check out and headed to crunch fitness - which was absolutely worth it! We were able to leave our bags at the front desk while we worked out, grabbed a late lunch, some drinks and then got to come back and enjoy the rooftop pool during happy hour for drinks and snacks until sunset. It was the perfect Miami daycation that we needed!

The Brickell area is a vibe, walkable and full of restaurants and shops, which makes it a perfect pre- or post-cruise stay. The hotel's proximity to the cruise port was a huge plus. Check-in is self-service, but assistance is available if needed, which made the process easy and convenient. The king bed does take up most of the room, stretching from the window to the wall, so the room feels a bit compact--but it's thoughtfully designed. The sink is located in the main room across from the bathroom, and I actually found the setup pretty functional. The shelves around the sink were stocked with a washcloth, hand towel, hair dryer, and tissues, plus hand soap and lotion at the end of the counter. There was also enough counter space for toiletries. There's an open closet area and a nice touch of wall art, and the laminated wood flooring gave the room a clean, modern feel. One of my favorite features was the in-room iPad that controls everything--such a fun tech-forward touch. I also absolutely loved the decor throughout the hotel. The colors are vibrant, playful, and stylish without feeling overdone. The second-floor seating areas were spacious and inviting, and the rooftop/pool space was another highlight. There's also a bar on the second floor with outdoor seating, which is a great spot to relax and people-watch. Overall, this hotel has a fun atmosphere, smart use of technology, and an unbeatable location. I'd definitely stay here again, especially for a quick stay before a cruise.

The location is fantastic,…read moreright in the heart of Brickell, close to restaurants, nightlife, and public transit, which makes it really convenient for exploring the area. That said, the room itself was extremely small. It had all the essentials, but there wasn't much space to move around or unpack, so it felt a bit cramped, especially for a longer stay. If you're planning just a short visit or don't mind compact accommodations, it works, but it's definitely something to keep in mind. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made the stay smoother despite the limited room size. Overall, I'd say M Citizen is a great choice for its location and vibe, but pack light and don't expect spacious quarters.
