Check in and out was easy, parking was no issue, just add it to the room and use the room key to get in and out. This is definitely an older property. The elevators are a bit shady, the decor is out of date. The rooms are big but the Wi-Fi is awful. They have a Marriott club, which is nice, but it is pretty sparse. Basically if you need a place to sleep and you want a decent hotel, this is it. Stayed here for a quick trip. The room was spacious and clean. There were a few downsides though. Parking was $40 a night, and the breakfast buffet was $20. For that price, I expected more than just the basics. The biggest issue was the A/C, it never really cooled the room down. It still felt like it was in the mid-70s the whole time, which made sleeping kind of uncomfortable, even though we had it set to 65. For the price, I was hoping for a little more comfort. read more

On a recent business trip I stayed here and was in a lovely suite! It was incredibly spacious and had two TVs. There was plenty of room to spread out and relax. The room also has decent lighting. One thing about the rooms is that they overlook the general hotel, so you definitely need to keep your curtains closed! The lobby bar is nice and there is also a Starbucks and private rooms in the lobby you can use to make calls. The hotel is about 10 min from the airport and about 7 minutes from the Fashion Outlets mall driving. The staff is pretty friendly and check in was smooth! read more

I just arrived at the hotel and was extremely disappointed to find that our room had clearly not been vacuumed. There were food scraps and trash visible in the bedroom area. I have called housekeeping multiple times and, as I write this, I am still waiting for the issue to be addressed. At a rate of \$345 per night, this level of cleanliness and service is unacceptable. Deplorable customer service and complete lack of professionalism. Called the front desk to ask specific questions about room specifics, prior to booking. Front desk individual was deplorable and extremely unprofessional, began with mouthing off immediately, made me repeat myself countless times. Very nice rooms, but avoid the restaurant and bar. Fairly mediocre food, and absolutely the worst drinks I've ever had at a Marriott hotel. Ordered a side car, and it was served on the rocks and was mostly cheap off-the-shelf sour mix. So bad I didn't bother with more than one sip. Spent a single night here prior to leaving for Europe. Most Sheraton properties are dated and it shows, but this one seems to have done a great job with renovating. The lobby and restaurant/bar, called Flight, are wonderful, as are the food and drinks. Nice suites for basically all of the rooms, and a pretty nice workout facility, especially for a hotel. To top it all off, our rate was only $113/night after taxes and fees, which is super affordable, especially for a Marriott-branded property. read more

After a long day of international travel, I was happy to rest here for the night. I would have preferred we made our flight and slept in my own bed but this was the next best thing for the evening. All paid by the airline , of course . Along with a $20 food voucher. At check in the staff was friendly and accommodating. The check in process was fairly quickly. It started getting very crowded right as we were getting our rooms. The room I had was huge and very spacious for one person. Massive /Soft bed , updated bathroom. Some attributes of the room felt dated but wasn't horrible. I was comfortable. I was shocked at how large the TVs were in the bedroom as well as the living room area. I really enjoyed watching a little Netflix before hitting the sack. There's a bar and store located in the lobby area. The lobby was very cozy and relaxing. Decent hotel, nothing positive or negative to remark on. It was nice that there is a a small Starbucks in the hotel, however the hotel does not provide any free black coffee in a carafe. The only provided coffee is the in-room coffee maker. Services at the front desk were very prompt and helpful like a luxury hotel. Overall my room was average, nothing to complain about and just as expected. There is a restaurant in the center of the hotel which is a great place to unwind after work or travel and there are some nice glass rooms attached where you can socialize privately with friends or take a meeting if you work remotely. Breakfast was a bit pricey for what it was, and I would consider going elsewhere at their price point. read more

I'm filling in some reviews for my previous stays and had to reflect on my stay in this hotel in February of 2022. The spaciousness of the room was quite nice and the open atrium was pleasant. The staff were pleasant and helpful in all of my requests. Decent bar with a nice restaurant that serves decent food. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi did not have easy instructions and required staff assistance. The location was also somewhat difficult to navigate to as there is a semi-hidden front street. read more

The hotel itself was nice...very clean...very nice hostess at the counter....the reason why I didn't rate it higher was the in room dining. I ordered a Chardonnay with a side glass of ice...I got the Chardonnay no ice. I ordered the chicken Marsala...it came with potato wedges and vegetables (broccoli and carrots). The potato wedges were good as was the broccoli...the chicken Marsala had this thick goopy sauce on top of it with 3 small mushrooms. This hotel is just a block away from the Ohare rental car facility (MMF) and hence very convenient if you have an early morning flight or overnight stay. The suites are quite spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet didn't have a large selection of food choices, but it have a carb and 2 protein choices (eggs and sausage). I was on the 10th floor and hence very quiet. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. A Portillo's is just 10-15 min away. read more

this place is terrible. my debit card had been re-issued due to fraudulent activity on my account. i prepaid the room online and then offered apple pay, offered them the number off my digital card, and even offered them $1000 cash to hold for incidentals or to any damage that might possibly be done to the room the woman at the desk, although nice did not consult the manager or make any attempt to try to help me. she did however, informed me that they would be able to except apple pay in january. thanks for that because it's december 7. i went down the street to the crowne plaza or they accept apple pay google pay and any other kind of pay that you want to give them for incidentals or a deposit room, bigger, better nicer, etc. stay here if you like being disappointed. robots run this place welcome to the future. read more

If you are needing to stay by the airport, this is a great option. It is across the street from the rental car facility and has a shuttle to and from the airport. Despite being so close, we never heard and planes which was nice and somewhat unexpected. The rooms are nice and spacious. The staff were friendly. Everything was clean. I had stayed at this hotel several times when I was here fir work, pre-Covid. It was an aged but clean hotel, reason I chose it because every room is a suite (old Embassy Suites hotel bought by Marriott), priced very reasonably, excellent service. Last time I was here, it was one week before the Covid lockdown of March 2020; hotel was 1/2 empty, everyone was worried about what was going to happen, half the lobby was under construction for renovation. Returned for work and chose it again, and what a nice surprise! Not only the lobby but the entire hotel (minus the older, but still working well, elevators)! The older rooms were completely revamped, with new furniture, new beds, reading lights by each side of the king-sized bed, the bathrooms totally redone, very modern and clean! The Club Lounge (if you have elite Marriott status of Gold level or above) is now open and free! It has a nice hit breakfast and snacks until 8pm. After that, it's still accessible 24/7, if you want to grab soda, water, milk, coffee or fruit. Great benefit! It also includes a business center where you can print items for work, your boarding pass etc. Parking is free, if you are renting a car the rental center is just two blocks away, perfect location! Some of the rooms have a view of the airport and runways, another bonus if you are an aviation geek. Great hotel, super service. read more

Booked this place last minute after a flight cancellation. I booked the second to last room in that hotel for almost $250 a night. Probably how they make the most money honestly, last minute flight cancellations that make passengers scramble to find a hotel to stay for the night. The room is pretty standard; however, it is on the older side. The bed is extremely soft and the furniture isn't exactly new and most things are pretty creaky. It is pretty cool though how they have a lounge / living room area. However for a place so close to the airport, they really lack the amenities to support their customers. Most hotels have a mini but more expensive convenient store, but not here. For passengers who have a cancelled flight and do not have access to their luggage which is still at the airport, many don't have basic amenities such as toothbrush and eye contact solution. The hotel doesn't have toothbrushes but they do have a gift shop because of course cranky people who have a cancelled flight want a Chicago magnet for their refrigerator. Also, the location isn't exactly convenient as there are no food options nearby other than the hotel, only a McDonalds. The only perk is the room and the free shuttle service to the airport. read more

Sheraton Suites must have a lot of business. Thank goodness for this hotel because when O' Hare canceled my flight, I was able to get a room here at 11:30 pm. Since it was close to the airport, I was able to hop on a shuttle and arrive quickly. My sister asked how many people came here today to Sheraton, and the woman at the register said about 100 people got a hotel room here tonight. My family booked one of the two open rooms. The hotel quality overall was really nice with two TVs, two beds, and a pullout couch. There were two rooms. When you enter, you see a couch, a desk, a chair, and a TV. The next room was the bathroom, the two beds, and the second TV. Everything in the rooms were clean and orderly . I would absolutely recommend this hotel to whoever wants to stay here. I also have to mention that there were weirdly huge ants outside of the hotel. I've never seen ants as huge as these ones. I'm from California and just imagining having these ants infesting my house is disgusting. read more

Not perfect, a little outdated in areas, but in my mind, having a 24/7 Starbucks and a very reasonably priced bar/restaurant (and room service) that stays open late (bar is open until midnight and food until 1030pm) is hard to come by anymore...and the food is actually really good. There's also an airport shuttle and you can walk to the rental car center in 5 minutes and there's a tram from there straight to the terminals (I don't think this is supposed to be done, but there's nobody to stop you). Spacious gym, no pool. Breakfast is not complimentary even though it looks like it is as it's out in the open...the Starbucks has good breakfast sandwiches, and they aren't the "typical" ones you are used to seeing, they seem to be made in-house. read more

It is clear that the Sheraton Suites Chicago O'Hare is designed for a one-night stay. They mostly cater to business travelers on a layover or small conferences. For such a property, it is surprising that they do not recognize Marriott Bonvoy elites. Pros: + About a 5-7 minute ride from O'Hare. + SOME of the restaurant food from the in-hotel restaurant (Myrick's) is good. For example, their nachos were very good. Cons: - It is a dated property that ownership has clearly ignored. As you see from the picture, and throughout the property, it is showing wear and tear without any effort to patch things up. - The room I stayed in smelled like a wet dog. - The rest of the restaurant food was subpar. The caesar salad was obviously pre-made and had been sitting in the fridge for hours before I got it. - As Marriott Titanium Elite, I spend way too much time at their properties. This one only gave a passing mention, without any noted benefits (no points at check in, no upgrade to the room). Even when I asked for a late check out, I was offered 1PM when the standard is at least 2PM. Properties like this really should have ownership that cares to maintain the property and to recognize their frequent guests. read more

Apparently they are renovating bathrooms but I doubt they would take unneeded space from the suite to give to the bathroom. The suite room has a stupid window to the hallway? Who needs that? Firstly they do not give wifi included unless you pay for it. That in itself is a pain in the ass. Then the rooms are really hot. I used the thermostat and still was burning up all night. Of the hotels near O'hare, the Sheraton was a great pick for a wedding weekend crash pad. Bride and groom negotiated reasonable room rates, and the rooms at this Sharaton are massive suites! Beds were comfy, furniture was modern, and above all, everything was spotless & clean. This hotel has an 11th floor club lounge for the frequent travelers, but the desk staff were kind enough to provide us card access after botching our room reservation. In the lounge, you'll have access to complimentary hot/cold breakfast in the morning, appetizers in the afternoon, and water/juice/coffee/yogurt/protein bars all day long. As for other amenities, you've got a nice centrally located restaurant/bar downstairs in the main atrium, some meeting rooms, free wifi downstairs (but oddly enough they charge nearly $10/day if you want in-room access), and a fitness room...Sadly they ditched the hotel pool during their recent renovation though. Topping it all off is a free airport shuttle leaving every 20 minutes on the hour from the hotel lobby. If you're staying here without a car and trying to get into the city, take the airport shuttle to O'Hare and follow signs for the CTA Blue Line towards Chicago / Forest Park. Front desk staff are friendly and accommodating, and happy to answer your questions about the nearby area and the city. After checking out on Monday morning (with an O'Hare flight back to NYC later that night), I left my bag behind the desk all day while I ventured into Chicago using the above described shuttle/train maneuver. I gave them a call on my way back on the train, and they were happy to load my luggage onto the next airport shuttle, saving me a trip to the hotel then back again to the airport...thanks! read more

DO NOT BOOK HERE I made a reservation online, realized I made a mistake, and immediately cancelled my reservation (approx 30 minutes later). They charged me for the FULL NIGHT regardless. We called the property and spoke to RUSSELL who again denied our request! It was a mistake, and I cancelled within 30 minutes after making it as I picked the incorrect date!!! Yet they wouldnt budge. I usually stay at the Hyatt Regency for business, but stayed here for my trip this week. The service was excellent and my hotel room was perfect. I stayed on the club level and the breakfast satisfied, and the snacks during happy hour were fine. I had dinner at the restaurant Monday night and the burger that I ordered came out well, instead of medium rare. No big deal as I was hungry, did not want to go anywhere, and it filled me up. A few things: 1. my room was 1101 near the elevators and the echo from the crowd in the atrium travels up through the elevators. A bit loud while working, but when I went to bed, I just shut the door. Problem solved. 2. When you park, which you have to pay for, if you have an issue leaving, good luck with reaching anyone if you are having a problem. The button was pushed many, many times, with no answer. Had to back up, park and go back into the hotel. A small inconvenience. 3. No phone in the bedroom. I never trust a hotel clock alarm and had no phone next to my bed for a wake up call. Small inconvenience, but my cell phone was a perfect wake up. I will come back as the staff was very friendly, the bar well stocked, and I liked the homemade chips that they serve. I was here for a medical conference so I spent most of my time in the conference/ballrooms and my room. Room: very spacious! Perfect for a family with 1 or 2 kids (pull out couch with flat screen TV in the front room that is separate from the bedroom with a door. I also liked the fridge and free water. They need to add a small microwave. Every suite imo needs a small microwave. -the master bed was a king and amazing to sleep on. I never wanted to leave the bed! Rhe linens were top quality. The pillows, while abundant in number, were too soft but still I slept wonderful each of the 4 nights I was there. My only issue with the bedroom was the lack of lighting There was only 1 large lamp in the room with 2 small reader lamps posted to the headboard (nice touch). Getting dressed and doing other things by the mirror in a relatively dark room was irritating. Food: I ordered room service twice and ate at the restaurant once for lunch and every am for breakfast. This is an amazing place for a Wedding. We just got married here and I can't recommend it enough. Great location! We have our wedding ceremony and reception, both here at the Sheraton Suites Chicago O'Hare, so all our out-of-town guests all can stayed here in same location. Many of our guests attending our wedding was from out of the state and to/from the airport to wedding/reception by the hotel shuttle was so convenient. Also, they provided free parking for all our wedding guests. After the wedding, I got so much great comments from all our families/friends. The selection of the food menu was also excellent. They provided us multiple menu options to choose from Chicken, Fish, Beef and even for the vegetarian guests. The chef came and introduced himself to us and made himself available for any questions we have. It tastes all so good! I still remember having a hard time choosing which dish to select when they have us to come in for the food tasting for all available dishes. And the last, without our venue/catering manager, Marla Latour, the wedding wouldn't have gone this smoothly. She was the best and so important part of preparing this special day. She was very quick to respond and detail oriented. And she was available to talk and meet anytime even with very short notice. She is professional, yet, she also made me feel at ease. And very quickly, I knew I can depend on her to get things done right for a beautiful wedding. I can't say enough good things about her. We stayed here last week on the front end of a multiple-flight trip across the States, and before we even left the next morning, we'd already booked another night for a week later after we fly back into ORD. This hotel was everything we needed and more! First and foremost, the staff (especially Tammy, Leah, & Fabian!) were incredible. These 3 staff members deserve the highest praise. They answered every question, helped us with so much, and made sure our overnight stay was nothing short of perfect. The lobby and dining area were very beautiful and comfortable. They have a storage room for complementary luggage storage that we could use, and that literally saved us SO much hassle through a complicated week of travel. Lastly, our room was impeccably clean, spacious, comfortable, and restful. We really enjoyed everything about Sheraton, and have already recommended it to multiple family members who are traveling through Ohare in the coming months. I'm not sure if I'm just not a hotel snob but for a 2 nigh business trip, this place was everything you needed. A 8 minute free shuttle ride from the airport (the shuttle sounded a bit scary) and you are here! The hotel is pretty large and has an open concept where the main eating area/bar is in the middle with all the rooms going up around it. Check in was pretty but I swear the front desk guy had no idea what he was talking about- when I asked if I can fill out a form to order breakfast into my room he was like "no, you have to call it in" yet I got to my room and an order form was there? Also I asked if they could combine my two reservations and he told me I had to come down in the morning with a packed bag and hoping they can help me out. He must have been new but I will say the rest of my trip was great. I got a large king room with a super comfy bed. The pillows seem to be 2 soft, 2 more firm. The room is not too cold and the fan works well. Overall cleanliness is great and I didn't have any problems. I could not figure out for the life of me how to turn on the shower but someone from housekeeping was sent up to show me after I embarrassingly had to call the front desk. My room service was delivered promptly at 7:15 and the food was pretty darn good (though hash browns could have been crispier). I enjoyed that the hotel had a good house restaurant downstairs I could grab lunch at and they also had Happy Hour from 4-7! Generally a nice stay and you get a HUGE room. read more
