Nice hotel. Comfortable rooms. Nice beds and pillows. Minor maintenance issues ( peeling caulk or soap scummed stained caulk at seams in shower doors) figuring out how to control the thermostat was fun. They have those motion sensor things I keep turning it off. Make sure the little fan is spinning lol. Getting in and out of the place is hard as you can only go one direction and then have to make a u-turn to come back half mile away. Other than that great location. Nice amenities, breakfast was good, great service.

Stayed july 3rd to July 5th. Had a wonderful time with family. I've stayed in lots of Hyatt houses and this is one of the best. Very clean quiet and best of all I love their one bedroom suites kitchens. Love the fact they come with ovens ( that was a first for me). Will definitely visit again.

Great rooms, location and staff but poor management. Stayed here for a week for work the rooms are equal to a one bedroom apartment very spacious with kitchen, living room and separate bedroom and bath. Front desk was very helpful and efficient in any requests the driver tony was on point and shuttled us around town when slots were available. The H Bar restaurant had barely anything to offer on a Sunday night and that continued throughout the week so we stopped eating at the bar. First night now korean tacos the second night no chicken for quesadillas or salads by the third night there were no flatbread pizzas either everything was 86. It seems management does not do inventory or stay on top of things for ordering when they know there are tons of business travelers. I feel bad for the night time bartenders who come to work and have a great attitude but have no food to sell. Breakfast was good each day and made to order omelets were the highlight.

Very nice stay. There was a very nice young man named Jalen there every night working the bar or the front desk. He made us feel welcome.

The best part of this hotel (besides the hot breakfast which was great each morning) was the super friendly and helpful staff.

Housekeeping: At the front desk, they stated that housekeeping is not automatic, you would need to request it. Fine by me as we usually don't utilize it. A $257 charge was made to our cc upon check in and would be refunded if everything is "ok". Breakfast is from 7:30-10:00 am. It's adequate. We got a $20 voucher that we could use per day in the restaurant or snack shop. You forget to use it, you lose it. There were about three events happening on the property this weekend. There was still ample parking. Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable.

My husband and I love to stay there and eat at Rod's for our special occasions. The renovation is great! The rooms are so nice now. Modern and very comfy! We most recently stayed in a king suite and it was big and lovely! So much nicer than the kinda icky bridal suite we stayed in 8 years ago But overall, this, like rod's, is still a pretty traditional place. If you don't like that, you won't like it! And if you're not staying for business or wedding, maybe not your gig. Still, I love it. Nice, friendly, train in the back, close to Morristown and Madison both lovely towns. And I love Rod's and the red dog, both fun old timely places for some food or a drink.

This place should probably get 3.5, but 4 seems too high, so I'll go with 3. The biggest drawback…read moreis the age and fact that the rooms are very dated and worn down. It does sound like they're aware and are working on renovations, so that's good. My room, and for that matter, the public spaces as well, were clean and comfortable. However, my room was quite dated. The sliding bathroom door was kind of falling apart. The bathtub area, while clean, was definitely in need of a makeover. The TV in my room didn't work. The window in my room was so dirty, you could barely see outside. I wish they had water fillers in the common areas instead of just old water fountains. Others in my work group mentioned problems with the AC or other issues in their rooms. Anyone in the general hotel staff I came in contact with, including the front desk, were very nice. One issue with a morning waiter in the Blue Morel restaurant, but I mentioned that in that review. Also, it's really secluded from anything, so you can't easily walk anywhere from here. I wouldn't specifically avoid staying here again, but I'd probably check other options first.

As a traveler who holds high expectations for the Marriott brand, this property was a profound…read moredisappointment and is certainly not a 4-star hotel. From basic health and safety oversights to complete climate and comfort failures, I strongly advise future guests to look elsewhere. The stay was marred by several unacceptable issues: Basic Amenities & Potable Water Concerns: When inquiring about drinking water, front desk staff explicitly stated that the water from the lobby fountains is not safe to drink. Compounding this issue, bottled water is not provided to guests, leaving visitors without reliable access to safe drinking water. Severe Room & Comfort Issues: Our room carried a persistent, heavy odor of cigarette smoke, and to make matters worse, the air conditioning completely shut off during our stay, making the room uncomfortably warm and difficult to rest in. Communication & Staffing Inefficiencies: Reaching the front desk by phone is practically impossible, as calls continuously go unanswered. Despite the property appearing heavily overstaffed with employees frequently standing around in groups, actual guest service is entirely absent. Misleading Facility Information: The pool is advertised and signed as heated, but the water was freezing cold and completely unusable. Ineffective Management Response: When management eventually reaches out asking for feedback, engaging with them feels like running around in circles. This location does not align with the standard of quality, service, and reliability associated with other properties under the Marriott brand. Save your time, money, and peace of mind by booking your stay elsewhere.

The biggest issue was my room's air conditioning. The unit was extremely loud, and despite running constantly, it never actually blew cold air. Before checking in, I specifically asked the front desk attendant whether the AC was working properly, and I was assured that it was. That clearly wasn't the case. I chose not to complain during my stay and simply toughed it out, but a comfortable room is a basic expectation -- especially when you're traveling for work and need proper rest. Being told everything was fine, only to deal with a noisy, ineffective unit all night, was frustrating. I won't be returning to this location, and I'd encourage the hotel to take a closer look at both its room maintenance and the accuracy of the information its staff provides to guests.
