My husband and I visited to see family and we had a pleasant time here at the Hyatt House! PARKING Lots of parking around the property-- no overnight fee! I appreciated that there were spots just right in front of our room. SERVICE We opted to not receive room service so I can't attest to its quality. However, our check in and check out processes went smoothly. Very quiet, no complaints of noise around us. ROOMS We were upgraded to a two-bedroom suite which was plenty of space for just the two of us. Ours was located on the second floor and I didn't look too hard but there weren't elevators around-- just a heads up for those who might need one. The two rooms and two bathrooms were spacious. The living room had a pull out couch. There was a booth dining table that seats 4 and the desk worked perfectly for my husband who needed to work. Each room also had their own desks. The kitchen was equipped with a stove, microwave, and fridge-- ample for anyone who has to stay for a longer period of time. I always appreciate when hotel rooms have a full body mirror, so thank you for having one. AMENITIES We didn't get to enjoy the pool but we were impressed with the gym! It had 3 treadmills, 1 Peloton, 2 ellipticals, and 1 low bike. They also had medicine balls and dumbbells, but no bench or barbells. Unfortunately, the temperature inside was locked so it got warm pretty fast. BREAKFAST I appreciated their made-to-order omelets on top of their regular continental breakfast which included eggs, bacon, waffles, and fruits. There were plenty of seats in the lobby with TVs around. OVERALL I would definitely stay here again if we were to come back to Pleasanton! Great value for its price. read more

An amazing stay! My friend has been staying at Hyatt House for an extended stay and had me over for a few nights. I was amazed by the property and its many amenities. This hotel is set-up much like a nice apartment complex. Her room was the One Bedroom King Suite. It was very spacious and has everything you may need for a long stay. The bed was comfortable (but lacked in pillows in my opinion). The sofa easily converts into a bed which is nice for having guests over. The kitchen is fully loaded with all the necessary dishes and utensils. The bathroom is a little small but the vanity is huge. The closet is also very spacious. There are large TVs in both the living and bedrooms which is a nice touch. The amenities are great too. There is a basketball/pickleball court, pool, grill, and hot tub outside. It feels very communal. People are always lounging out at the tables and around the pool. There are also fire pits to relax at. There is a nice gym, market, and small lobby bar. There is also complementary breakfast every morning (which is actually very good). They offer omelets made fresh to order with other items that rotate daily. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating! One thing I did notice is that after a while, even with the constant room service and a clean room, the room develops a little bit of a stale smell. Had a very pleasant stay. We have 1 dog with us . The bed was very comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. Their facilities like the gym were clean did not have any odors! Their breakfast was awesome with personally made omelets. Honestly their small little yogurt parafaits cupw were what had me waking up early in the morning to have breakfast. There's 2 options for them. Ones with frozen berries and plain yogurt. I tried both multiples times. For the plain one I would add pineapple from the fresh fruit bar. I loved the texture and taste of the yogurt. If I ever had to stay in pleasanton again I'd book almost solely for that yogurt and the dog friendly vibe. read more

Originally, it was to be 4 of 5 stars for the cook for the customized omelets on my first proceeding day prepared the meals out of order. However, by the 2nd morning, the hotel refocused its attention to ensure a grand morning for all of its guests. Our two bedroom with the full sized kitchen will always be my favorite. Hyatt house Pleasanton is overall a pretty solid place to stay if you're having to stay for an extended period. The rooms aren't fancy, but they're clean and functional with small apartment style set ups and they're head over heels nicer than your typical Extended Stay hotel. Each suite has a fully functioning kitchen that's stocked with cooking essentials including a cutting board, knives, a handful of pots and pans, silverware, plates and bowls. They're also pet friendly if you're staying with your furry family members, although the designated pet area is shoved in the back corner of the property. We found that taking our pup for walks along a habit drive was the most effective and easiest. Hot breakfast (including made to order Omelets) is served until 9am each morning and they rotate out the food options day to day. It seems as though eggs, sausage or bacon, fried potatoes and French toast or biscuits and gravy are regular occurring breakfast options. They also serve fresh fruit and a number of dry goods so there's tons of variety. The main con for me here is that the three story facility doesn't have elevators and somehow we can never secure a bottom floor room. This is inconvenient for potting our dog since we have to carry his 18lbs down the flights of stairs, but also not fun if you're traveling with a lot of stuff for shorter periods. If you're staying for an extended period, this won't be as much of an issue since you're only loading up once. Also, if you're in better shape than me (I'm 7 months pregnant) then you probably won't mind. Overall Hyatt house is a solid option in Pleasanton for short and long term stays but is geared towards the latter. read more

I had quite a Pleasant stay in the Hyatt House here in Pleasanton (see what I did there?) The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helped me with whatever I needed for my stay. I also noticed the housekeeping staff was very well organized and able to clean all of these rooms quite quickly while I was waiting for my friend to pick me up from the city. Curtis and the brunette in the front deserve a quick shoutout. The room was a two-bedroom suite and both beds were incredibly comfortable. I slept like a baby and after working 9 days in a row my sleep/comfort meter went way up in such a short 8 hours. I enjoyed the shower and the water pressure greatly. One of the showers did not have water too hot so I just used the other shower which was perfect. I was in building 9 and was super happy that all of the buildings are near the main hotel reception. There isn't an elevator but only 3 floors so it's not that bad of a climb. The room did have a large living room and kitchen with stove, microbe, and full size fridge with utensils and plates for dining. The breakfast was always restocked and the staff appeared to be friendly from what I can tell with limited interaction. I wish the hotel would have had a water station available throughout the day as I ran out of water and had to pay for another bottle at the merchandise/pantry by the front desk. I would definitely recommend a stay here if you are staying in either Dublin or the Pleasanton area. read more

Privacy Screen on Bedroom Window does not close. MAJOR SAFTEY CONCERNS! WOMEN AVOID THIS PLACE! As a woman staying in another state alone in a hotel room- this is a MAJOR concern. I asked the staff at 6 different occasions to confirm they were coming to fix it, including different front desk members and the manager. They never did. The bedroom and bathroom are open to each other, meaning you are dressing in a room with no privacy, sleeping in a room with no privacy. I was a corner room facing the parking lot. They wouldn't even move me rooms because there is no elevator and they didn't want to carry my CARRY ON suitcase upstairs- less than 35lbs, and there's no elevators. Worst hotel I have ever visited. They absolutely do not care about safety or their guests. Avoid this place at all costs. WOMEN- AVOID THIS HOTEL. AVOID IT FOR YOUR SAFETY! DO NOT VISIT THIS HOTEL. read more

After the first sighting we were relocated ACROSS the hotel to avoid another sighting but low and behold we not only found another one but it was crawling on my chest as I was trying to sleep with my two children next to me. The staff have been very kind and helpful but roaches are unacceptable, I should not have to worry about my family's health and possibly bringing home unwanted guests during what is supposed to be a stress free time. First time staying here. Was welcomed right away from the hotel receptionist. Very friendly and welcoming. Check in really fast. Pros- Such a big room! Sad I didn't have more time to spend there. Pros-spacious room, full size refrigerator, a big desk, a hard wire internet connection, half size stove with clean dishes stocked throughout. Cons- Stair access only, could be tough with heavy luggage. Would definitely have to get an accessible room on the first floor if you have mobility challenges. The bed is a little hard especially for a side sleeper. Overall, the hotel is clean. The location is pretty nice and the ambiance is really nice. Walking distance to a few restaurants. Just booked a 4-night stay for later this month. "Lina" (reception) was very friendly, answered all my questions, and graciously gave me a tour of one of the empty suites. It seems to be a very nice lay-out with separate bedroom and living room, and compact kitchen. Appears to be clean, attractive, and the area/complex seems to be quiet. It's located in a low-traffic area - not right next to the freeways or other busy streets, but a very short drive from the Hopyard Exit off I-580 in Pleasanton. This is a great place to stay a little older, not slick and modern but very clean very comfortable. Very hospitable, towels are super fluffy. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was great. Kitchenette had everything you could need. Would definitely recommend and return here. We loved our stay with our Rottie and our Grandkids. It was a blessing to stay here after staying in mountain country with bears running all around us, and no A/C. When we arrived here, they had it all for us. A kitchenette, A/C, a King bed, a pullout sofa bed, and a swimming pool for the kiddos. They even had a wonderful... breakfast, and the front desk recommended a great Mexican food restaurant for us too which made our stay wonderful! Oh for SURE we will be back, especially because they allowed our large amazing sweet Rottweiler dog and our grandkids to stay. Although we paid a price to have our dog stay but we were okay with paying extra for him to come along with us all. We absolutely loved our stay here. I wish it was cheaper because we might of stayed two nights instead of the one night. We were on a 9 day road trip so we included one night here. read more

UPDATE: Was literally walking out to leave and the front desk person came by and personally apologized and tried to make things right. The effort was above expectations and got an extra star. Well done! The room was not dirty but it wasn't particularly clean either. In fact I think that the pillows should've been replaced along time ago. There were a couple of interesting stains on furniture. Also the bed linens have left me with little red itchy welts so concerned. I did stay in the handicap room which was the only room available at check-in. It had a benefit of being downstairs and easy access to the parking lot which I like. These rooms are suites with limited home like amenities. Unfortunately even after two attempts we could not get a working coffee maker in the room. The replacements looked like they had been pulled from a dumpster and also were broken. I'll post a few photographs. The breakfast featured make to order omelets which were a treat and allowed 3rd star. (Under non-COVID times this would have only received a 2 star) The front desk staff was pleasant and always courteous and smiled. That was good. There were adequate towels and the facility was perfectly placed in physical proximity to our needs so we may try again. Not sure. read more

Needed to stay here on a Thursday night for a wedding close by. Was able to book online and use a AAA discount. They have a parking lot all around the hotel. They have many different buildings for the rooms and two story I believe too. When we checked in, it kinda took sometime. The workers were nice. It was clean and the staff was wearing masks. They had a sitting area, a market place to buy drinks, food, etc. they also had a bar, and seating area for complementary breakfast (sorry I can't comment on that because I didn't have it) Room: basically a big suite. King size bed, couch, kitchen. Two TVs. It was in the floor level. Clean and spacious. For the price we would def stay here again if needed. I only took one star off because the parking lot it small and it gets packed if you don't come back early enough. read more

My rating is an average score because I had different experiences with different staff members during my 2 month stay at Hyatt House in Pleasanton. The location and facility - 4 stars - The location is close by to may places and also easy access to freeways. The facilities management do take good care of the premise and maintain its cleanliness. I was most impressed with the pool maintenance - both the pool and hot tub were cleaned almost on a daily basis and after using both, I never seen any time of debris or dirt in either the pool or hot tub. 5 stars to the pool crew! Front desk staff - 4 stars - For the most part the front staff were pleasant. I had spoke with Mariam majority of the time who was always so very professional and kind. 5 stars to Mariam! There was a couple of times that I had to go to the front desk and experience their computers not working which was a bit frustrating having to wait an extended amount of time as one staff member struggled to get their computers working again. Also when I had asked for certain items which are typically provided by hotels such as a toothbrush, I was told that they are available for purchase! Never have I experienced this. Also I had asked for a plastic bag for laundry and I was told they do not have any. I even asked for one bag that they use for garbage and they stated they do have any to give. Again very odd. I then asked for a replacement dish sponge since I had been there for a very extended time and was told they do typically do not provide them but that they would give me one as a courtesy. Again very odd. Housekeeping - 2 stars - Housekeeping was not very consistent with cleaning the room per their own schedule of 2 days a quick express cleaning and on the 4th day a full service. And do not bother asking for a full service cleaning when it is not scheduled because that will be a no! I was approached for the housekeeping manager whose name i did not get, after I had asked for an additional full service cleaning and was met with so much attitude and rude comments. She was the most unpleasant experience during my stay. I would give her zero stars. She basically told me that they have a schedule and when I told her that my room was not cleaned per THEIR scheduled day, she basically ignored the fact that they DID NOT complete cleaning as they should have on their scheduled day. She was also the one that made the comment that the dish sponges were not provided as well and only gave me one as a courtesy. The conversation went no where and was happy that I did not have to see her again. My last night there was a disappointment because the day prior would have been the 4th day for cleaning to be done and I was looking forward to getting to get into a clean bed and enjoy my last night but instead I got there and realized nothing was done at all not even an express cleaning. Was very disappointed as it was my last day that I wanted to enjoy. Linda from housekeeping honestly was amazing and should be honored for always being so pleasant and also for going above and beyond. She would ask if I wanted full service even when it was not my scheduled day and sometimes I said yes and she would have not issue at all and with a constant smile on her face, she began cleaning and always left my room so clean! She was a joy and hope that her work ethic gets recognized because Hyatt - you are lucky to have her working for your company. Linda gets 5 stars!!! Food service - 5 stars - All the ladies from the breakfast buffet were amazing, Kim and Fernanda and so sorry for the other ladies whose name I am forgetting. They all made mornings special and always greeted my son and I with a bright smile and kindness. Just stayed for the weekend for a wedding. Booked the triple suite - the room with 2 beds...each bed really only fit 1 person comfortably. The room with 1 bed was big enough to fit 2 people. Then the last person stayed on the couch. Water took a while to get hot. Really nice to have a kitchen and microwave. Breakfast was good. Lots of parking. I'm rounding up but I would consider this place 3.5 stars. I would like to see a little more attention paid to making sure the room is clean when turning over a room. Our room had cheese or something stuck to the garbage disposal and when I opened the coffee maker there was an old, moldy coffee filter there. Gross. I know that this location is most likely an extended stay type of arrangement for business people. There was a girl (teen? a little older?) always out walking around barefoot. Another woman who kept sweeping out in front of her unit. Due to the pandemic there is no hot breakfast but they will give you a cold breakfast sandwich that you can microwave in your room. First time at a Hyatt House, and I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was. These are meant to be apartment-style and cater to longer stays with a full size refrigerator and stove. Definitely not luxurious, but so comfortable. Everything felt relatively new and updated. They make a relatively small space feel spacious with its open areas. Only potential downside is that there are no elevators. I generally take the stairs anyway, but this becomes an inconvenience if you have heavy or bulky luggage. read more

My last stay was during COVID and it wasn't too pleasant. I found it very loud and not as clean. This is my first time back, and I must say, it's improved greatly. Notably different is the staff's effort to assure the guests are happy. Front desk and breakfast staff are super sweet. The room was clean and spacious. It is still a tad noisy with footsteps and such, so if you're a light sleeper, opt for the top floor. The only thing I wish was better was the cleanliness of outer grounds, stairs, sidewalks and such--which is obviously difficult to upkeep with the leaves and spiderwebs. Chose the Hyatt because I have always had great experiences at this chain. Staff were all lovely and accommodating. Was originally booked on the 3rd floor. Shocked that there wasn't an elevator. Front staff were able to accommodate and arranged for a first floor room. Room spacious but beds quite hard. In the morning attempted to shower but no hot water at 8am!! on my walk to breakfast, I was shocked at the maintenance of the physical plant. Needed a good power washing and yard maintenance. see attached photos. Wrote to corporate with my disappointment without any type of acknowledgement or response. Room wasn't cheap. The website photos are very deceiving. We booked a 2 bedroom, king bed suite for 2 nights. The staff was very accommodating with our request for a crib and early check in since we were in town a few hours early for a wedding rehearsal. Upon arrival, there was garbage thrown about in almost every shrub of the building entrances. I thought it was because we arrived before standard check in time. Well after 3pm, which is standard check in time, there was a dirty towel still in the bushes and remained there until the next day. The carpet inside the rooms are sticky and disgustingly dirty. They turned my bare feet and my infant sons socks grayish-black! The faucet water smells heavily of chlorine. I recommend bringing your own water for drinking, brushing your teeth, washing bottles/dishes, etc. Windows and walls were also obviously neglected for a long time as well. This is definitely not the experience I would expect from the Hyatt brand. There's 3 stars are for the staff, everything else was unsatisfactory. read more

I actually recently stayed at the Hyatt House on a whim. I typically stay at this hotel chain when traveling and I'm glad I did. It was Memorial Day weekend and I didn't have any reservations, but upon entering the lobby the staff was accommodating. It was mid day and I wasn't sure when check-in was or even if I would be able to get a room, thankfully the staff double checked for me and found a nice one bedroom. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the bed was comfy. The pool and gym was open during COVID which is nice as some hotels aren't opening those amenities, you just have to make reservations for the pool or gym and let them know you want to visit. One thing is those hotel doesn't have elevators, so keep that in mind. The one bedroom had a full fridge, sink, stove and microwave so it was great to grab some groceries and save leftovers! Such a dirty place. Gag. When I am home booking a trip to *California* I think beautiful clean and fresh air!! Not here at the hotel. I've stayed at cleaner motel 6s. Seriously over priced and stinky dirty there. I was laying by the pool and only could smell straight garbage. All the garbage is under the stairs by the first building and the breeze was filling up the pool area. I almost puked. The gym is sticky and gross and DUSTY. The beds are hard and you can fill a body print like sooo many guests have slept on the mattresses that it has a body imprint. EW. This place needs major TLC and deep cleaning. People shove their garbage all around the property, the stairs are crusty and gross. Carpet in the room is squishy and made my feet sticky. I just cannot recommend anyone stay there. read more

This review is long overdue. A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of staying here. I was greeted by Pat, who was absolutely hilarious! He got me situated with my room, and offered any and all assistance I may need throughout my stay! I also had the pleasure of being assisted by Audrey, who was absolutely willing to make my experience (and those I could see her assisting before me) nothing short of stellar! I absolutely loved my room, how close in proximity it was to the pool, how quiet my neighbors were, etc. The residents seemed to be a mix of families, couples and those in town for business. The pool was definitely swamped with a ton of kids, as I was told that families were in town for a soccer tournament. Let me tell you all the cool things this place provides, in addition to excellent customer service! Happy Hour is from 530pm to 730pm everyday, if you check into Yelp, you get 50% off one menu item, not including alcohol. What a great incentive to check in! They also offer super warm and gooey chocolate chip cookies in the evening as a snack, complimentary breakfast of everything from scrambled eggs, to bacon, sausage patties, omelets, fresh fruit, oatmeal, granola, yogurt, bagels, toast, coffee, tea, orange juice and the like from 6am to 10am! They also have the paper available for you to read as you enjoy your breakfast! You can also choose from tons of board games to "check out" if youd like! We checked out some board games that we played over by the gates pool area! At night we were able to sit in front of the fire pit with another couple and enjoy a glass of wine! Be prompt, however, because they do turn it off at 10pm on the nose! I will say that I enjoyed the afternoon/early evening staff far more as opposed to the gentlemen working the late evening (after 10pm), who didnt seem very friendly. They also have a gym that's open 24 hours, a laundry facility, and courts to play such things as basketball, tennis, etc.. I have to say, I really am impressed with the way I was treated during my stay. They even remembered me when I returned to the desk! When I need a Hyatt House, this will be my "go to." We had to ask the staff to come back and clean the room again and there were still noticeable dirt. The side table was dirty and rusted. Walls were dirty. Kitchen was understaffed and had to wait 20 minutes for the next order of food to be restocked. Coffee was low or not a availabile and they ran out of plates. This Location does not deserve your Business!! Beware!! One of the worst experience I've ever had with a hotel!! Called and Booked over phone and confirmed date and time I'd be arriving. Once I get there they state it is overbooked!! How does this happen!! Drove 4 hours to get here and sleep in car!! Hyatt, this is not ok!! Sergio Lopez the staff at the hotel was not even an ounce of compassionate and said "oh well, I don't have any rooms sorry but there's nothing we can do!" I asked for a manager which was also handled very poorly Kendra Gaffey! She wouldn't even speak on the phone and just said oh well. Sergio stated "you must leave or else I'll cal security!" There best assets is Stephen which is security and is the only one who was compassionate and really showed he wanted to help! Don't give this location your Business! I never write negative reviews and this location has been terrible and one of the worst experiences in my life! I expect a call from someone to resolve this! read more

We stayed 10+ weeks. Our room was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful and housekeeping was on a frequent and regular schedule and very thorough. It was nice to have breakfast and coffee available each morning. Having a full kitchen in each room and ample storage makes an extended stay here easy and low stress. Location is great. It's in the middle of Pleasanton, but on a quiet street. Laundry room, exercise room, pool and spa are all well equipped and maintained. read more
