Having made the reservation a month in advance, we were told when we arrived that the shuttle time to airport was full. We had a confirmation for the shuttle email to us a month in advance. After about a 45 minute wait at 11pm, they finally said we were booked for the shuttle for 4:30am. The worst part was a 22 minute phone call to ask for the shuttle to pick us up from the airport and then 1/2 hour wait for it. We were able to sleep for 3 hours total due to all the wait time. Just very poor organization. The cost if the room $138. Never again. read more

This hotel is fantastic! Check in could not have been easier. The room was nicer than many I've seen at Hyatt and Hilton's top of the line properties. A hot breakfast was included. They offered a free shuttle to and from the airport, only two miles away! The lobby even had a live screen with current airline departure times. OH-and it was less than half the price of staying at the Grand Hyatt attached to the airport by tram. By all means, stay here! read more

Staff was nothing but amazing! Everything about this place has made it feel like home away from home. Flight was canceled and within 15 minutes of calling the hotel the shuttle was on their way and pick me up. I was four hours early before normal check-in. Staff offered me free breakfast while they got a room ready for me and double check to make sure I can check in as early as possible since I was tired from my travels. Room was clean and had everything I needed. I wanted to explore the city but felt comfortable sitting in my room for most of the day. I would recommend this place to anyone! read more

It's ok. A Decent Hotel with a Free Breakfast and courteous staff. The rooms are large and spacious - and the decor is nice. The free breakfast is what you would expect for something that's "Free". They do have a decent room service menu, and the food is pretty good. Overall a good experiance and I would stay thier again. read more

This place rocks! I was forced to spend the night in DFW area after American Airlines late departure made me miss my connection. Hyatt customer service booked me a room here and on the phone told me this was the hotel in the airport (what I wanted) so I was disappointed when I arrived at 11pm (tired!) to find out it was actually a few miles away. I called the hotel from the airport and Eric quickly assured me I did not need to get a taxi/uber and that their shuttle would pick me up. Before I could even walk outside the shuttle was already there. Checking in was a breeze after a quick shuttle ride was a breeze as Eric was there to greet me. The bar was open til midnight and the staff was SUPER attentive. This place has every amenity you could ask for...free wifi, free breakfast (GOOD breakfast, not your typical cereal and toast), open patio, great TV channel selection, super clean rooms, they even have TVs on the main floor that show all of the departing flights out of DFW and their status. The staff was so nice I would consider booking this hotel if I were staying in the Dallas/Ft Worth area even if weren't required to be near DFW. It really is a superior hotel! Kudos to the staff for making me feel so welcome and relaxed, even if it was just a one night stay. Highly recommended! read more

Amazing place to stay, but if you are traveling with babies wouldn't recommend, I have 2 of my own ,i stayed one night ,my room was amazing, room was spacious, room didn't have a microwave to warm my kids milk so that's a disappointment ,beside the coffee maker button broke, i call front dear, immediately one was send up, great. Overall service was great .wish there was a microwave in the room though. read more

Gotta tell ya. Have stayed in plenty of hotels through the years. Decided to stay at this one due to an early flight out the next day. Got it for a hundy ($100)and admit that it's the best place I've ever stayed at for the cost. Have stayed at equal for double the cost. The customer service is on point and definitely Hyatt quality throughout. Ate at the restaurant. Great, equal service by the same staff. Food was good, fast and reasonable on cost. Awesome! I will definitely be staying again on the next early trip out. read more

Whilst it's a nice hotel and staff are friendly. We had a problem sign YaYa whose the nightshift auditor supervisor. In the morning we went down for breakfast with my wife's service dog. YaYa then proceeded to ask us "for the comfort of other guests, would you mind going through one at a time while the other holds the dog?" I told her she is not allowed by federal and state law to ask us to do that. It would have separated my wife from her service dog. Who under federal and state law is considered a medical device. I told her I wanted to speak to the manager and she said the manager would call me directly. I'm still waiting on the call from the manager I was supposed to receive on 12/1/22. Under state and federal law you may only ask TWO questions about a service dog. 1) is that a service dog. 2) what tasks does it perform?. Anything other than those two questions is a violation of federal and state ADA laws. I will be forwarding this complaint to the corporate office. read more

Hotel staff was definitely a 5 out of 5. They were Very friendly and had a willingness to help. Hotel was pretty clean despite a large group of teenage basketball players. Would have given 5 stars but the bathtub drain was very slow. Can't fault the hotel since I never notified them of the problem. read more

I'm almost always one to try and make the best of a bad situation...this amazing place made that easy!! We missed a connection at DFW, and had to spend the night. The staff was friendly, helpful, and provided personal service right from the start. The (free shuttle) driver knew our names and arrived within minutes of our stepping out of the airport. Our room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The bartender took good care of us, with a friendly smile. Everything felt like we were long-term residents of a small town and not at an airport hotel. While I wouldn't go out of my way to miss another flight out of Dallas, should it happen again, I'd immediately and happily head to the Hyatt Place DFW. read more

Our flight was cancelled and we had to spend the night since our next flight wasn't till the next day. They were very friendly and we were accommodated in a very efficient and courteous manner. The hotel was very clean and so were the rooms. I loved that they had a later checkout than most hotels which is 12 noon because our flight wasn't scheduled till 3pm. We were shuttled to the hotel and back to the airport and that was very convenient with very little wait. Since we did not have our luggage we were without toiletries and the staff kindly accommodated us with everything we needed free of charge. I was very impressed and will start looking for Hyatt's next time we travel, it was our first time at Hyatt since this hotel was very close to the airport therefore being the one we chose. We really enjoyed our stay there. read more

Stayed here for the first time and the experience was not that good! When I booked the room, I put a request to assign a room with a walk-in shower and a microwave oven. I knew that room does not come with microwave but most of the time it has been accommodated at all the other hotels/motels, per my past experience, if put in as a prior request. Unfortunately, at this hotel, at the time of checking in I realized that nobody has paid attention to my request. What is the point of putting requests if hotel/staff are not even going to look at it? When I pressed on about the microwave then was told that it will be accommodated if there is one available. Few hours left and neither any body showed up with the microwave nor got any call that there is no microwave available! I went downstairs to find out what's going on and this time there were different staff at the front desk. It was clear that new staff had no idea what I was talking about. I guess person who was supposed to take care of my issue just left without doing anything. Continue about poor customer service from the check-in staff, I was never told anything about the pool, fitness center, computers in the lobby along with the printer, shuttle service, pamphlets that list items that can be borrowed/buy etc., and the WiFi. I have to ask about the WiFi information and only then was told about it. In addition, I was told breakfast time is from 6-9 Am, however, the information card in the room has it from 6-10 Am! Who to believe, check-in staff or the information card? At the time of check in, I gave tax exemption form and reminded check-in lady that there should not be any tax in my total at the end. She took the form and told me to not worry about it. Unfortunately, at the time of checking out, even though same lady who took the form initially, was about to charge full tax until I stopped and reminded her about the tax exemption form. I had some maintenance issues in my room as well. Desk lamp was not working and upon looking at it, it turns out that the outlet lamp was plugged into was not working. In addition, light behind restroom mirror was fused and did not work. When the room is given to the next guest, how come it is not checked thoroughly to make sure everything is working or not? Why it is next guest's job, to instead of enjoying their stay, they have to encounter issues and report to get it fixed? This is simply ridiculous! Inside the information card that I found in the room, there was something mentioned about the Express checkout. It was stated that there will be an invoice underneath my door before the day of check out. I can then simply use that invoice and use Express checkout. Unfortunately, there was no invoice underneath my door before my check out day for whatever reasons. If this policy is not followed at this hotel then why incorrect information is listed on the card? Internet in the hotel during my stay, on average, was slow. Such a big name hotel but slow internet really doesn't make any sense. There were other customer service issues also and some invaluable suggestions that I passed to the management. In response, all I got was a lame sorry email. Other hotel, even a motel, would have reimbursed me with some kind of credit for all the inconveniences and the suggestions I have provided. I will definitely look some where else next time. read more

First time staying here for a Dallas weekend holiday and had a wonderful stay. The team was flexible with five adults in our room and accommodated our many "diva" requests. The room was spacious and quiet, breakfast was a generous assortment of foods and beverages, and value for the dollar was excellent. The shuttle drivers gave us great tourist ideas and all around we felt welcome throughout our stay. Free parking is a plus. Convenient airport location with easy freeway access to downtown. THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!!! This place knows how to do service! The complimentary shuttle was awesome...they picked us up from the airport and took us to dinner each night. Our favorite driver Bill gave us tons of helpful info on the area and helped us with anything we had questions about. The rooms were clean and a super bonus is it slept 6 so this family of 5 didn't have to get 2 rooms. The breakfast was literally the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. Every staff member that we came in contact with, even just walked by, was so pleasant and helpful. This place made Dallas a great time for our family!!! My family and I booked this hotel the day of our trip. We found them thanks to booking.com but ended up calling the hotel directly to book. I'm sure glad we did. Room prices on booking.com were $30 more a night than directly with the hotel. Once we arrived we were greeting by the staff and were treated very well. We had only made the reservation an hour in advance so when we arrived our room wasn't fully ready. The young lady at the register was very nice and handled everything very well. Any time we need to say in the DFW for either leisure or flying out of town, we will stay here. read more

I just enjoyed another stay at this property. It's a fairly recent build that is well maintained and comfortable, but my favorite part is the welcoming staff, both at the front desk and at breakfast, and the free breakfast that is well presented and has some welcome, well thought out food rotation. With an opportunity to take advantage, I was impressed with this Hyatt. We missed our flight, didn't have a rental car, and needed to stay until the next day. I called at the last minute, got a room. The shuttle arrived right away and they offered us a cold water bottle for our 6 minute ride. May sound like a small thing, but in airport land where a water bottle is $3.50, it was appreciated. The room is 5 star. Complimentary full hot breakfast. Complimentary wifi. Clean, clean, clean. And when I needed toothpaste, they offered it complimentary. I called directly to the hotel and got the same rate as an internet website price. Highly recommend. read more

I was extremely disappointed in my experience at this hotel. When we arrived they did allow us into our into a room early so we could sleep as we have been traveling around the clock to be hurricanes. The good service ended there. We were moving our son back home and had A car filled with bags and luggage. I flew home and my husband flew into Dallas to do the second leg of the trip with our son. For security reasons we brought the majority of the luggage into the hotel. Clearly one of the bags must've slipped off the dolly. When my husband and son went to check out the following day the bag was sitting behind the counter and was clearly ours. Due to the amount of luggage we had no memory of what was in that bag. They staff would not allow them to look in the bag and they would not release the bag so my husband and son, so they left to come home. We called and attempted to speak with management, housekeeping, and then went to corporate on multiple occasions getting no resolution. After several months we finally received $50 VISA card for our "inconvenience" and we never got our bag back. The service and mistrust was extremely disturbing. It doesn't really take much to make a customer happy and every direction we took brought us to a dead end. read more

Got stuck here overnight after cancelled flight at DFW. Place must be brand new, can still smell new paint and carpet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze. Hotel has clean contemporary look. Rooms are spacious. Only downside in bath is shower only no tub. The complimentary breakfast was actually pretty good for this type hotel. This hotel looks to be brand new. Being literally right off Rental Car Return road I was concerned it might be loud due to airport noise. However either they are not in a flight path or they have done an excellent job soundproofing the building because it was very quiet. There is a big breakfast / bar area with a very nice outdoor patio. They had a nice selection of wines at the bar and serve food until midnight. I ate the Portobello mushroom soup and the spinach salad and they were both very tasty. The staff is friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again when I return to Dallas on the future. read more

Loved my stay at this hotel! The staff is so nice and helpful; they always greeted me and my family as we left and entered the hotel. The mini fridge in our room wasn't very cold at all, so we informed the hotel staff, and a staff member brought us a new fridge within 10 minutes with a smile on his face! Also, on the second night of my family's 3 night stay, our neighbors across the hall had a few loud children around midnight. We could tell they were playing, and they were screaming and laughing. We called the front desk and within minutes, a staff member came up to our floor and knocked on their door to politely inform them that they'd received noise complaints. We didn't hear them anymore, thankfully. They didn't always enforce the closing time of the indoor pool, and my nieces and nephew loved it! There is a large glass door in the pool room that leads to a super nice outside lounge area, too. Their hot breakfast buffet was great, and they had different breakfast foods every morning along with the normal foods (eggs, sausage, toast). And breakfast ends at 10 on weekends rather than 9 a.m., so I wasn't forced to be up extra early to catch it! Being so close to the airport, I expected to hear airplanes arriving and departing from dfw at all hours of the day/night. While you can hear them, it's not so loud that it is disturbing. The sound never woke me in the night, and I am not a very heavy sleeper. My family had several day trips planned around the dfw area. The hotel was in a perfect location and pretty central to all the places we went. About a 20 minute drive to downtown Dallas, 15 mins to Grapevine Mills, and 10-15 mins to Six Flags. Navigating around the airport roads was slightly confusing at first, until we realized to stay on the service roads rather than using the parkway that leads to airport terminals. Beds are super comfortable. The rooms have a mini fridge, a single-cup coffee brewer, hair dryer, and a big flat screen tv. Only thing missing was a microwave. The one complaint I have is a broken card lock on a gate. The lounge area that is outside of the pool is separated from the outside restaurant lounge area by a gate. The gate was always shut and you're supposed to be able to use your room key to open the gate, but the battery needed to be replaced or something, so you'd have to go through the lobby and all the way around the hotel in order to get to the pool lounge area. It was never fixed during our stay. It was annoying, but other than that, my stay was great! Would definitely recommend this hotel. read more

From Darleen to Mary (and everyone else), thank you ladies for making this my home away from home. Highly recommend Hyatt Place DFW !! Booked by my company while in DFW for training class (12-3 thru 12-5). Front desk staff (Eric and short petite girl with dark hair) and the shuttle drivers (Bill and Emmanuel), and cleaning staff were all friendly and helpful. The shuttle will take you to any shopping, restaurant or venue within a 5 mile radius of the hotel and the hotel is situated in good proximity to many places. The rooms were extremely clean, very comfortable beds :) , great layout (desk, couches for lounging, mini fridge, great coffee in room) with WiFi and Direct TV. Einstein Bagel, Whataburger and a Mini Mart all within 5 minute walk of hotel out back door. Highly recommend Hyatt Place DFW read more
