I stayed here this week for a business trip and overall really liked the hotel. Pros: -Comfortable and large rooms. I had one with two queen beds, the bathroom area (with a shower/tub combo, also) was also large. -Daily housekeeping if you'd like it -Hotel is very easy to get ahold of via text - I texted asking for a late checkout and they gave me 1230pm (checkout is at 12pm normally) only because they were having a busy week -Nice conference facilities -Pool although I forgot to bring a bathing suit -Free shuttle from anywhere in the airport - I flew Delta so I was in Terminal E, and the hotel is in Terminal C technically Cons: -The rumor was only 2 elevators were working ... they encouraged us to use the service elevators too -Going "off campus" is expensive - I went out to dinner and it was a 12-min Uber ride and about $30 each way -A lot of people at my conference said it was loud at night, between the construction and the planes arriving and departing. It definitely wasn't the most quiet room I've ever stayed at, but I got a good nights sleep every night (whether or not that's because I'm sleep deprived with a baby normally, who knows, lol). -Shower got hot quickly (this is a pro) but when I tried to adjust it, it stayed hot for a while (too hot). Overall I would stay here again, especially if it was a quick 1-night stay too (I stayed 3 nights for my conference).

    ...not "room service."

Here is my feedback: Hyatt Regency is a respected brand. My one night stay is costing me over $350. Hyatt's website says that this location has "Room Service" as an amenity. This hotel does not have "Room Service." It has "Brown Paper Bag Handoff." Hyatt needs to start being transparent about this cost-saving, low-brow, embarrassing pivot. I would not have stayed here if I had known. You cannot redefine what "Room Service" means in the hotel industry from the bottom up. Just call it what it is so people can stay at hotels that offer the actual amenities they are seeking.

Worked out well. This is the second time we've stayed here. We have a very early flight out and we don't live close, so sometimes staying overnight near the airport is the right move. I dropped my wife and luggage off and a bell hop loaded the luggage on a cart and followed my wife to the room to drop it all off. My wife returned and we drove tonGrapevine for dinner. Then we dropped our truck off at The Parking Spot - North and took their shuttle back to the Hyatt. My wife had checked into the room online before we left home. Stopping at the front desk was more to say we're here and to get our key cards. Our room was quite large and spotless. The bed was comfortable as well. There's a 65" TV on the wall that we didn't use. There's a nice desk space with chair and a comfy chair and ottoman in a corner. There's a small refrigerator with a small freezer compartment. We used both! The cost was around $250 - so not inexpensive but one can rationalize the convenience as well as the comfort. We'll stay here again in the future.

This hotel is VERY NICE and has loads of restaurants in it. There is Jacob's Spring Grille that has delicious steak options cooked to perfection. There is Muster G's Sushi and Sake. There is Ace's Bar and Jett's Market that has assorted coffee and snacks. Lastly they offer in room dining. All of this is located at this hotel right by the airport. If ever in the area, give it a try. I know I will. The rooms are your typical rooms. I had double queen beds and the room was very clean.

-I like that they have individual shampoo, conditioners, and body washes, as well as ones that are posted to the wall. I think it is more sanitary to have the individual ones. -I also ordered from the restaurant and the food was not that bad. A little pricey, but being trapped at the hotel, you have no choice. -When I checked in the young lady, was very polite and attentive and informative. -I appreciate having free water in the room, the room was comfortable, and clean.

Mr Matheus a customer service was amazing! He helped us with a plethora of questions. The registration, house keeping, restaurant staff and maintenance crew members were friendly.

I think this is a really nice hotel. I'm here for a month for work & the only thing I don't like is the fact that there is no complimentary breakfast & that there is only one working washer machine. Also, the alcoholic beverages are a bit over priced at the bar. But the customer service is excellent. They offer free tide pods to wash your clothes with. They also allow your toll ticket to be validated at the guest services desk. I have a coffee maker & fridge in my room, and housekeeping comes to clean and change sheets daily. The microwaves are on every odd number floor. There's a nice gym and ok pool. The shuttle to the other terminals run every 20 minutes. I did step down to try the buffet breakfast which was really good actually & about $27 bucks.

I arrived here due to bad weather canceling my flight. When I arrived the lobby was swamped with people who were pretty irate about their flights, yet the front desk staff still smiled and were professional. The bed in the room had to be full of knock-out juice because once I got into it, I woke up hours later like who did it and what happened. Let me not forget my dinner my apologies as I didn't take photos, but I got a burger and waffle fries, and that burger was huge and the bacon was just the right level of crispy. The bar staff kept the drinks rolling so that was a plus. The room has Chromecast so you can stream from your phone to the TV if you choose, but they also have a ton of channels. If you forgot your toiletry items they have them downstairs and will bring them promptly to your room. The shower had great pressure and was scorching just the way I like it to feel. Lastly, breakfast in the morning was a great win they had it open for about four hours, a wide fruit selection made to order omelets or whatever other eggs you want, along with pancakes, bacon, scrambled, sausage along the side table. The staff here was amazing also, the big tip was necessary. If you get stuck on a layover go ahead and check this hotel out.

Seriously! One ounce of body lotion???? Gotta up your game or dry people everywhere!!!

I will first say, I am not a big fan of airport hotels. I think they're overrun with people trying to be close to the airport and their flights and to their events so it's always chaotic. What saves this hotel is the service, someone like Rogelio or Chester at the front desk and all the servers we came across in the bar and the restaurant make for a pleasant stay. The 200 members of the barbershop Quartet convention we're a little difficult to navigate, but they were fun people. Now we get to the actual hotel, shuttle, perfect, room, tiny, amenities lacking, room, service nonexistent, and I say that because three times yesterday I had to run down lotion, water, and towels, and then put the old towels out by our door. Wrong. Lastly I just like to point out the size of the body lotion bottle, I posted a picture, but I would strongly suggest you bring your own. But if you love, the sounds of plane is taking off all day and all night which I kinda do then it's a good spot for a day or so.

Such a convenient location. Staff was helpful and polite. The lobby and entry was impeccable. The room felt a little dark and dated, but it was clean and crisp...except for the bottle of glass cleaner that was left on the basin. If the time arises where I need too...I would gladly stay again!

Our event coordinator had already been in contact with each hotel's sales team regarding room blocks, but my fiancé and I wanted to personally see the properties before recommending them to 30-40 hotel room blocks. Although we arrived after sales office hours, Liz at the front desk was exceptionally kind. She walked us through the restaurants commonly used for private events, explained the renovation timeline, and invited us to take our time exploring before returning to the front desk to view a standard guest room. Unfortunately, our experience changed when another employee, who later identified himself as Clayton, a manager, stepped in. It appeared he had been listening to our conversation but had not introduced himself. He abruptly informed us that we would not be able to view a room. We explained that our event coordinator was already working with the sales manager regarding room blocks and pricing, and that we were simply trying to ensure we felt confident recommending the hotel to our family and friends. Despite understanding the situation, he remained unwilling to accommodate the request. His only suggestion was that we purchase a room if we wanted to see one. For us, this interaction spoke volumes. Hospitality isn't just about beautiful rooms--it's about making potential guests feel welcomed and valued. If this was the experience we received as prospective clients considering multiple wedding events and dozens of room nights, it gave us pause about what our guests might experience. As a result, we will likely to move our room block, welcome dinner, Saturday event, and Sunday brunch where we're met with warmth, flexibility, and genuine hospitality from the moment we arrive. The Joule is undeniably a beautiful property, but customer service plays a major role in our decision-making. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling that our business was neither appreciated nor wanted.

If you want to commemorate Tina Turner, nothing beats it. Lorenzo Hotel, let's stay together. The creative, quirky, and poetic 237-room boutique is known for being an eclectic and vibrant art gallery with a different theme for each floor. Floor 1 is a mix-up with Shakespeare, Alice in Wonderland, Poe, and Einstein. Floor 3 is Literature & Journalism (if you like old printing presses this may be your type). Floor 4 is the Music Floor (vintage audio). Floor 5 is Mid-Century Modern (1960s Dallas history). Floor 6 is "Dali" or Surrealism Floor. Floor 8 is Botanical & Nature (floral pops of color). Floor 9 is Pop Art (bold and graphic). Floor 10 is Cinematic History (Hollywood glamour). Floor 11 is The Tina Turner Tribute. Floor 12: Skyline / Skye Ballroom event level with massive floor-to-ceiling windows. We stayed in Floor 7, which is "Literary Noir" (drama and mystery). We had a broken, blinking Neon sign, a wobbly ceiling fan, broken blinds, matchbooks full of phone numbers, an unfinished manuscript, an ashtray full of cigarettes, and a dead body in the tub. Not really. But we did have a giant seven foot "desk lamp", a paintbrush and frame above our bed, and and a carpet made from Hamlet quotes in Room 704. Dining: Hamilton's is the main on-site restaurant and bar, with a host or hostess in the lobby smiling at us when we walked in. Taco Enzo and Kolache Korner are in the refurbished shipping containers in the massive parking lot. The lobby store is small and not cheap but it beats a vending machine, especially if you want an ice cream sandwich or fingernail clippers. The "South Beach" pool is saltwater, so it's softer on the skin, eyes, and hair and avoids red eyes, green hair, and pool smell. Location: Though the Cedars district is the industrial historic heart of the Dallas arts scene, it's a bit gritty and has *freeway noise*, with gentrification friction, being a patchwork of high-end luxury lofts sitting right next to dilapidated industrial warehouses, making it feel half vibrant but half abandoned. The Walkability Score is 73, thanks to massive railroad tracks, the I-30, current construction, and inconsistent sidewalks. Be warned this isn't a tree-lined, window-shopping destination like Uptown or Bishop. Finding food, a drink, and even a movie will be much easier than groceries or a pharmacy (though drugs is a different story). Service: Everyone was awesome, especially Precious, who was, like her name Precious. That explains why they don't hire Dicks.

The pool was great during the summer, it's small but has many chairs and even cabanas that are great for lounging in. The onsite restaurant for breakfast was delicious! The food was really good - probably the best part of the entire hotel - and the service at the restaurant was beyond friendly and accommodating. The parking is $20 a night which is a crazy price, but there were always plenty of spaces. There is a lot of construction next door, so we could hear that going on during the day and proved for a quite terrible view from our hotel room - completely obstructed by a tree with the bits you can see through being just trucks. One evening our toddler pulled the plug for the lamp that is on the night stand and it pulled the entire outlet out which created a hot flash of fire and smoke - then live wires were exposed - this is crazy dangerous and very disturbing that a very small child was in such danger from merely unplugging something. We went down to the desk and they immediately said they'd send an engineer up and asked if we would like to change rooms. We said we'd see what the engineer said, he came up about 5 mins later and said everything needed to be replaced so I said to him we have to switch rooms as it was completely dangerous for anyone to be in the room with live wiring exposed. A minute or two after the engineer left the front desk called our room and told us to come downstairs to change rooms. We packed up, trucked everything downstairs and they switched our rooms to the room next door (which it would've been nice if they would have offered to help move our luggage or at least tell us to just move it one room over, not bring it all downstairs). The front desk was actually really passive and cold - I found the situation quite shocking and dangerous and they had basically nothing to say about it. I thought it would've been nice if they had said something to apologize for the inconvenience, to offer something in return. It is completely their fault for having faulty electrical equipment in their room and they just wanted us to move rooms and go away - I was just happy to move the room and not be near them since they were such bad vibes - I think other people would've felt disrespected by their behavior. Thanks for the food, won't be back.

About the Hotel I don't know the history of the hotel but I can tell it's a well kept older hotel. I like how they kept some elements of its legacy. The lighting, the mail chute and more, add to the charm of this place. The lobby is a modern twist with an emphasis on audio entertainment. There are a lot of record albums on display as art. There's a small walk up cafe for quick bites and drinks and you can take a comfy seat in the lobby to enjoy your snack. From the lobby, you can peer down into and access the Toussaint restaurant and bar. About our Room Our room (603) was spacious and functional. It included a king bed, 2 large side tables, a round bistro table with one chair, a large flat screen TV above a long counter to drop some of your stuff onto. It had a large wardrobe for hanging clothing plus a valuable safe. It had a bar with glassware and coffee service (Keurig). The bathroom was spacious and functional, though the sliding entry door did leave a large gap, taking a bit of privacy away from the commode area. If there was a con for this room, I'd say it was lighting and lack of outlets on one side of the bed. The room did have lighting, but it was very dim. I wouldn't feel comfortable with any single female friends/family to stay there by themselves. In my eight days there every time I left the hotel I ran into one group or the other, some times both. I check in, go to my room, do a quick inspection and in the shower I find.....black mold!!!! An easy enough fix I think, I go downstairs report it to the front desk, go off to the market for supplies, and come back. It felt like last call at a seedy dive bar. Like I said, I understand wanting to go home but turning the lights out on your guests was a complete and utter FAIL. My last notch in the complain column is that the building itself could really use some attention. When it was raining the ceiling by the front door was flooding like a TLC song. The elevators never seemed clean either. So if I'm going all Final Justice on my review why did I give it a three star and not a one? All the positives come from the front desk agents. Jasmine was the best agent I've had the pleasure to deal with in almost a decade. She was warm, welcoming, and quick as a whip. Every day that I came downstairs she had a different suggestion on where I should go and what I should eat. Honestly if I was building a management team from the ground up, I would poach Jasmine in a heartbeat. So yes on the strength of one employee a hotel gained two stars. Otherwise I can't really recommend stay here until they make some major changes
