We were craving some Indian food to go and we wanted to try a new restaurant. I saw the menu though Uber Eats, and called the restaurant directly to order. We ordered vegetable pakora, Malai kofta, Andhra fish curry, garlic naan, and ras malai. It was 60 dollars total after taxes, and we were told a 25 minute wait. We gave our payment information through the phone. We took our time driving there, and it was ready when we came. It was packed nicely in two bags. There was a good amount of pakora, but could have been a bit crispier. The flavors were still good. The main dishes were more enjoyable. The kofta balls were big and soft and the sauce was flavorful. It was a bit sweet, but spiced nicely at the requested medium spice level. The fish looked to be mahi, which was tender enough. The sauce was also great and had the right amount of heat. The garlic naan was fluffy and garlicky. We enjoyed it while scooping the delicious curries. The ras malai was a bit spongy, but still wonderful in the sweet milky sauce. Overall, we all enjoyed the food! It seems that the dining area is small and pretty casual. For the price paid, I would have been expecting a bigger andmore grand atmosphere. So I am glad we ate at home instead of directly at the restaurant. However the food was very good that this would be a great take out Indian restaurant, especially for tourist staying at the Lake Buena Vista or International Drive area. Overall: A- read more

We loved the food from here. Mrs. and Ian got their mild flavored food. Gongura Mutton was phenomenal. Generous in its meat portion, this dish was truly a culinary delight. Both Biriyanis were very tasty. The Goat dum Biriyani was the popular one at the household due to its extra spices! Salan paired very well with both the Biriyani. Butter Naan was packaged very well retaining it's freshness. Word of caution: Their mild packs a punch! Tried Hyderabad Café for the first time and it totally hit the spot. The marai methi chicken was creamy, flavorful, and had just the right amount of spice, and the garlic naan was soft with that perfect buttery crisp on the edges. You can tell everything's made fresh. The vibe is super chill and the staff was friendly with food coming out fast too. Definitely one of the better Indian spots I've been to in Orlando. It's unique and nice. Chicken dum biryani, a classic dish. Yummy and flavirful. Huge quantities. Meaty juicy 3 huge pieces of chicken. Great. Goat curry: very tasty. Vijayawada chicken biryani: liked this too. Service was great. Alekhya is knowledgeable and recommended us the right dishes to order. Ambiance is great. It's clean, colorful and has a vibe. There were so many Togo orders flowing in and lot of people diving in as well. It's very on the pricy side in my opinion. Am from California and the dishes are not this pricey even there. The 1 star less is because they charged $5 for 2 hard boiled eggs. RIP off. Will get an 2 dozen eggs for this price. And it's cold to our horror. Egg is basic and pretty much everyone tops a boiled egg on top of biryani. Each dish is ~20 so that totalled to around 95$ or so with taxes, tips, service charges etc. read more

Authentic flavors spiced to the perfect medium heat level. The samosas were crisp, flaky and flavorful...a great way to start the meal. The mango lassi was a perfect balance of fresh creamy mango and not overtly sweet. The bread basket is a fantastic idea and provided a variety of all the Naan bread flavors offered and was a generous portion. The main courses were tasty but could use some improvements as the chicken and sauce were a little dry and the portions are on the smaller side for the prices. Overall was a great dinner and would be back again to try something new as their menu offers more dishes than your traditional local Indian restaurants which is why we decide to go in the first place. read more

Get the garlic naan! It's great for sharing but i never do. My go to option is the butter chicken. You can order it to your preferred spice level. Even mild has a nice kick and it's paired with basmati rice. Service is always fast and friendly! Plenty of parking and ambiance is casual. Wow, this place was great. I don't frequent Indian food restaurants very often as prices are near the top of my general restaurant budget, but this is probably the best I've had anywhere. The flavors here are wonderful. Every bite of a dish introduced something new that I just enjoyed. The space is average for a strip center restaurant but adequate for several guests. The atmosphere was a bit contemporary with wallpaper that infers this is a chain (later confirmed by internet search). But don't let that stop you from going as the food and service were very good. I ordered the stuffed eggplant, dal tadka and chicken karahi. Usually I'm used to having the stuffed eggplant sautéed in some sauce but the whole dish had stuffing outside of eggplant too. Too much flour. Tasty but not it should be. Dal tadka didn't have much flavor just regular dal. The chicken karahi was simple also no pop to it. It's usually my favorite dish but overall food is ok. Visited Hyderabad Cafe during their soft opening and it was a great treat! I am so happy to have them join the Dr. Phillips restaurant community. The restaurant is small, with seating for about 44 people. Half of the tables were full -- a good sign given that the soft opening had begun only 3 days prior to our visit. We were greeted by a friendly server when we entered and my party of two was seated in a spacious, comfortable booth. We ordered vegetable samosas and chilli paneer as starters. The samosas were very good, and exactly what I anticipated when I ordered them. Cooked and seasoned well, the provided a great digestive base for the spice that was to come! Chilli Paneer was the star of the starters. Per the menu, it is "paneer coated with batter & Cooked in Indo Chinese style." I had never had that dish before but my companion and I both liked the look of it on the menu and we gave it a try. There was fierce competition to get as much of it as we could as soon as we tried it. I look forward to ordering it again and again. Spiced well and perfectly balanced flavors without being heavy! I ordered saag paneer for my main course. The serving was HUGE. I am not an insubstantial man and I rarely enjoy the pleasure of leftovers, because I usually finish my meal and everyone else's! The saag paneer, served with rice, was dense, fresh and seasoned to my requested "medium." I was loving every bite but could barely finish half of it before I tapped out and requested a take-away container. We were very excited to eat here. The restaurant is very clean and beautiful. However they need to work on a few things. My husband ordered the Apollo fish to start. We also ordered the vegetarian samosas and some roti with yogurt sauce. For our meals, I ordered the butter chicken and he ordered vindaloo goat. My husband liked the fish. He said it was very good. The samosas lacked flavor and the pastry for the crust was too thick, undercooked and very dry. I asked for the butter chicken to be made spicy. It was not and the chicken was way overcooked. My husband's goat, was full of bones. Thank God he was careful or he would of choked. Our server was uninterested, even though we expressed excitement to eat there. This is one of the best Indian spots in Orlando and in such a great location super close to Disney Springs and Dr Phillips. The inside is pretty cozy not too big or too small and the dishes are absolutely delicious with the butter chicken being my favorite. Hyderabad cafe is a chain South Indian restaurant with various locations in the US. It is located in the O-town center plaza that has Publix. They offer a variety of South Indian and North Indian dishes. We decided to do a take out order on Saturday evening. My husband said the restaurant was empty with only one couple eating inside. We decided to get egg biryani - medium spicy as well as chicken kebab and 2 garlic naans. The wait time was 45 minutes. Now for the food itself- was it worth the wait for 45 minutes? Definitely not as it seemed like they reheated the chicken dish as it was dry! The garlic naan isn't made fresh instead it has a rubbery texture. I don't think they have a tandoor (special oven) for making the naan from scratch. Egg biryani was not medium spicy but definitely hotter but it was still the most decent dish that we received in the takeout order only comes with 2 eggs. I personally am not a fan as there a better Indian restaurants in the area. I would not return. read more

New staff new problems. This place was amazing when it first opened and the food was incredible. Seems like the owners have changed as the food is no longer any good. Staff is undertrained. We ordered a Fried Mutton Biryani and mixed tandoori platter. The mutton in the biryani was under cooked and under seasoned, the chicken pieces in the tandoori platter were stale. Manager walked into the restaurant at 8:30 PM came over to our table to ask how our meal was, we told her the issues with the food. She said she would look into it. Hyderabad Cafe recently opened up in the new O-Town west development and it's a treat to have a great new Indian restaurant in the area. The decor is a bit different than most of the other Indian restaurants in the area, but I appreciate that it's more casual, bright and open feeling. Service was very prompt and attentive even with a big party dining at the same time. The menu is pretty broad with most of the Indian staples and some things I hadn't seen before. We started with the veg samosas which were very flavorful and really enjoyed the chicken biriyani and butter chicken as well. The naan basket didn't include all the flavors listed on the menu but it was a very healthy portion for the price. Prices were a bit high compared to other options in the area, but the portion size made it a better value. I was disappointed that they didn't have fountain drinks and no iced tea - getting a few cans of soda will bump up the price a decent amount. Overall a great experience and I will be back! read more
