I didn't even bother asking if they tip off the oil for free between oil changes as they seem to charge for everything. Now my brake pads are needing repair and I called a few places around town, outside of prices being rather high, almost as much as I paid for rotors, they all seem to want to add on things. Even though it will be a trip to go to Hixson, I'd rather spend the gas on the drive knowing I won't get overcharged and they will do the job right the first time.

Different people would answer my calls and have no idea what another person was doing or what progress was made on a certain car. Every time I called they would put me on hold, and then transfer me to someone else just to tell me ANOTHER person will call me back when they get the chance. The first time it took them an hour to call me back, the second time they never called me back. They are your typical car service scammers who don't even seem qualified to be working there in the first place. It just keeps getting better and better…read more I discovered leaks from both valve covers, again. I pulled the coil packs only to find a small pool of oil had been collecting at the base of the plugs due to Midas not replacing the plug seals - which is standard - when they replaced the valve cover gaskets. The plug seals were hard as a rock which tells me they were the original plug seals with over 227,000 miles on them. I'm beyond livid. I wasted over $8,000 on myriad repairs, trusting that Midas would honestly and competently complete said repairs. Neither occurred. What little Midas did complete was half-assed, at best. I don't mind spending the money to have something repaired or replaced. What I *do* mind is spending that same money twice as a result of ineptitude, incompetence, and outright skulduggery. Never again, Midas.
