I can't believe that I've never been to this location before but I have been to other Hydration Room locations for years. Anyway, this place is located on the 2nd floor of the plaza and just like a typical business building in CDM, finding parking could be a little bit challenging. This is my first experience with a liquid IV clinic, and it was one of the best experiences due to the staff's amazing service, product offerings, and caring atmosphere. Right as we entered we were greeted by the staff offering us water or tea. We had booked an appointment beforehand and were seen right at our scheduled time. Our nurse, Tyler, was pleasant and informative during the whole experience, didn't even feel the IV poke! As a frequent visitor of Westcliff Plaza, I've passed Hydration Room countless times on my way to yoga or coffee, but this week was the first time I decided to go in--and I'm so glad I did. I had been feeling awful with a severe sore throat and lingering cold/flu symptoms. Even after urgent care ruled everything out, I still felt miserable and dehydrated. The staff, and especially RN Anna, were absolutely incredible. The entire experience felt high-touch and high-end, with the kind of attentive, professional care you'd expect for their clientele. Anna walked me through everything with kindness and expertise, and I left feeling *so much better already*. I'm genuinely thankful to Anna and this location for what they do. I have been working long hours at work and for my many volunteering extracurriculars. Despite trying to be mentally strong and overcoming sleep deprivation, my body was showing clear signs of fatigue. I knew I needed some help from Hydration Room. I meant to book at their location at Corona Del Mar near one of my favorite bakeries, but instead I booked at this location in Newport Beach, near but not in Fashion Island. This location is actually really convenient to pull up to. They have a large parking lot with a corner spot in the building. It is smaller than some of the other locations, with only 5 treatment chairs. No bathroom in the suite. They can give you keys for restrooms in the building during the weekdays but they are closed on the weekends, and you may need to use the restrooms from the café next door. When I came in a tad early, I was immediately greeted by Alex, their nice receptionist. She checked me in and informed the RN I was ready for my appointment. For anyone who is visiting for the first time to Hydration Room, I recommend coming 15 minutes early to fill out some first time paperwork. I have been to their other locations so I was able to bypass the paperwork. I was welcomed to the back by Katie, which is their lovely RN on the weekends. Katie confirmed I was there for the Myers Cocktail. I also discussed with her how I had been stressed and wanted to add Gaba. She also recommended a B6 add on to help me relax and recover. Then Katie asked if I had a vein I preferred to use. She was so gentle and this was one of my most painless experiences ever. I love Katie! After she had me hooked up, I was able to sit at any chair I want. They have really comfortable recliner chairs and as many pillows as you need to be comfortable. Katie also offered me beverages, in which I opted for their Chamomile tea with honey. She came and checked up on my progress and comfort throughout the treatment and even offered me more tea. Katie is so nurturing and caring I truly felt like she cared about my well-being. As I finished up my treatment, both Katie and Alex were wishing me a calm and restful rest of my day. Not the best IV place I've been to in Newport for sure. Very bare bones with no private rooms. One reception and one nurse only. And you get your IV in a room with everyone else. No privacy or peace and quiet whatsoever. There was one very loud person there who disturbed the whole peace but that's what happens when you're getting your IV with 5 other people. The room where you talk to the nurse also has no privacy. If you speak loudly everyone can hear your convo. It got the job done and is only 6 min from my house but personally I prefer somewhere with a private room which is more quiet where you can rest if you have a headache or just aren't feeling well. read more

We just left the Hydration room after meeting with the nurse Anna we were so clear and told her that I'm a hard vain everyone uses my hands. She said oh I could get your vein in your arm. I said no you won't be able to. Please use my hand. She said I don't like doing hands I said OK I don't wanna be poked more than once, and she guarantee she could do it in the arm. She poked me and kept moving it and did not get the vein We both left unhappy and did not get her IVs We just had a major loss in the family. This did not help us in any way today. If she can't do hands and doesn't like it why is she a nurse here? Why would she say I guarantee I can get it in your arm and then couldn't get it Why would you say that? read more

I have been under the weather last past week but I am not sick. I continue to work out and go to the gym but I feel like my body is fighting with something. A week ago I went out and eat and drink that upset my stomach. I was nauseous but slowly it got less. I thought maybe my body needed something extra. I signed up for the immune support IV. It was my first time..They also had free B12 shot. Nurse was very nice; asked questions. She added zofran to my treatment but then she said it is better to do fitness recovery instead of Immune one since I work out. Treatment was fast. I went home I feel relaxed and less body pain but did not have any energy so I rest all day and but then I could not sleep until late at night. Today I still feel relaxed but at the same time very fatigue. Maybe too much B-12 and Gama at the same time?? read more

The hydration room saves my life about twice a month. I usually go in for a hangover IV, but I've also done the clod and flu IV, the gut health IV, the B12 injection and recently did the cold and flue injection. The cold and flu injection is an absolute game changer, I was sick for an entire week (negative covid tests) and I felt almost immediately better after it. I like all the Newport locations but the CDM one is my fave. The staff is always amazing and so helpful. I am horrendously anxious when it comes to needles and they are always so kind and patient and make it so easy. They let me take my time and give me cold compresses to help when I'm really having a meltdown and I appreciate them so much!! If you are feeling run down or know you're going into a busy few weeks the hydration room is the way to go! read more

I love the Hydration room, especially the one in corona Del Mar. It is my absolute favorite. It has done wonders for my skin and my health. I've been going for years now. My favorite Is the skin health IV with vitamin C topper, vitamin B-12 and B6. I love the glutathione, (I think it is already included in the skin health IV) The staff and their understanding of customer service should be an example to all businesses. Beautiful scenery!!! Life savers! I highly recommend the Hydration Room, their staff is absolutely amazing. Went in one day in pretty bad shape (this is an understatement) it was right before they closed for lunch and I was like I said, in desperate shape that was obvious to the nurses that day. Instead of turning me away to come back in an hour, they and with the permission of the doctor made an exception to get fixed up. They were all very sweet and knew exactly what I needed to get me back on my feet. I realize this was an exception to the rules and I couldn't of been more appreciative of the compassion they showed that day. Even calling me the next day to see how I was feeling. This will be my go-to stop for all things IV whether it be for a hangover, immune boosts, or just overall maintenance! These guys are rad! read more

This place is great especially when you need a boost or want to avoid getting sick. I came in today because I am heading to China for a week. I am glad I was able to get a great treatment to prepare for strenuous travel. Shannon was my nurse in from HB and she did a great job quickly and effectively setting me up with IV. The Hydration Room saved me today! As a teacher, the beginning of a new school year always brings on a nasty cold. Today is my birthday and I woke up feeling absolutely terrible!
