Some people wonder how I can maintain a peppy bubbly personality, and the magic sauce behind the scene is self-care. Of the many self-care activities I indulge in, IV therapy is one of my latest discoveries. Hydration Room is one of my favorite places for IV therapy. This new location happens to be even closer and more convenient for me so I was so excited to see them come up on my radius. They are located in the same plaza as HiroNori Ramen and Everyday Eatery, to the right of See's Candy to be exact. Upon entering I was immediately greeted by Melanie. I arrived a bit early since it was my first time to this location, but they already had me on record from visiting their other locations. If it is your first time, I recommend coming 10-15 minutes early to fill out some light paperwork. Melanie also mentioned that there is currently a grand opening special that is Buy One Get One Free until 02/20/23. What a deal!! Valid at this location only!! After I checked in, I was led to the private room to Nicole, the RN who took care of me for my visit. Nicole was very friendly and professional. The IV connection was quick and painless. I got the Myers Cocktail ($180 value) with a Gaba ($20/3oz) enhancement for stress relief. For anyone who is unfamiliar to a Myers Cocktail, it typically consists of B-Complex, Vitamin C, Vitamin B12, Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc, Glutathione, and Saline Solution. This treatment is high in antioxidants, nutrients and other immunity boosting factors so I typically get it when I feel fatigue, dehydration, or low energy. There are other times I get it as a preventative boost such as prior to travel or before some intense partying. I also get it as an energy boost before tradeshows or busy work weeks. Studies show that your body will absorb these intravenous treatments better than oral consumption of vitamins, but it all depends on the individual. I do not have a medical background so please consult your medical team if you have any questions. I can only say I personally feel the benefits of the treatment. Anyways, the IV lounge area was very mellow. Melanie was so sweet she came and offered me a few beverage options. Since it was a cold day, I opted for a hot lemon tea with honey. Nicole also came over and checked on me periodically to make sure I was doing okay. Staff here is great!! Love love love Hydration Room and I am so happy an even closer location opened near me! Came here last week for the first time (and again today) for the B-12 shot and to see what their other packages and benefits are. My family has always been very holistic with medicines so this place is right up our alley, direct vitamins into the blood! The staff were friendly and informative, they have an on-site nurse that administers the shots and IVs. My mom and I tried out the antioxidant refresh with the B12 together and it was great. You can feel the energy boost immediately and it can last for days. We booked another package so we will continue to come periodically and we are very excited! I was sick with food poisoning and needed to get rehydrated. I explained my symptoms and they reccomended the GI cocktail. They were very professional and sweet. I called right at 5:15 (when they usually take their last appt) and they said they will still take me. They checked on me several times while I was receiving my IV to make sure I was doing alright. The chairs were pretty comfortable too. Aside from the customer service, the treatment has seemed helped me so far. I feel like I have a bit more energy, the Zofran helped the nausea and I got an appetite back a couple hours after the treatment. Yes, it is pricey but it is worth it when you are feeling so crumby. I came here to get the skin wellness IV because my skin has been dull, orangy, inflamed and breaking out from stress and lack of sleep. The nurse was honest and told me it would take about three treatments for me to start seeing an effect. I got the IV early afternoon. But by evening, my skin was already brighter and glowing. Jamaica ( the nurse at the Irvine Center location) is so friendly and awesome. I'm so scared of injections and I have baby veins... but Jamaica just puts me at ease. This was my second time there and my experience was even better than the last. I did the myers cocktail and was energized right afterward. I feel great after having a great nights sleep (which does not happen vary often). I have no bruising from the I've, you would have no idea I even got it done if you look at my arm. Just had to leave a review after my great experience at Irvine Center this week! Sara and Rachel took great care of me! They were both so kind and attentive the entire way through!! The process took a little longer than expected so I would just recommend to not go there in a hurry which wasn't a problem for me, as I wasn't feeling great and took the day off work. I went in for the cold and flu IV bag and I left feeling so much better. Sore throat GONE. I was really was skeptical but so glad I took a chance! The facility is very clean and beautiful!!!
