The treatments themselves were nearly painless and very tolerable. The numbing cream they use beforehand works extremely well, and the cooling mask afterward made such a difference. I never left the office with the burning sensation I remembered from my previous laser treatment. The downtime was also surprisingly short--I never felt like I would be embarrassed to be seen in public afterward. I also loved that they took photos at each appointment so I could actually see the progress I was making from one treatment to the next.
