I've been hearing about Red Roosters new menu and finally came for dinner to try it. The vibe here…read moreis always great, especially upstairs with the pool hall, Caribbean music, and drinks. Such a fun night out spot. Food wise, the oxtail mac and cheese was INSANE. Easily my favorite thing we ordered. The fried chicken was also so good and I honestly wish we ordered more. Cornbread was another favorite. I'm not really a collard greens person so they weren't for me, but everyone else loved them. The dessert had a little too much going on for my taste, but our waiter did warn us beforehand lol. Service was amazing. Our waiter was super attentive, gave honest recommendations, and made the experience even better. Definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to.

I was really excited to try this establishment, hoping for the best. The inside was gorgeous; it…read morescreamed luxury southern jazz bar to me. The music was great, putting the audience in a good mood, ready for an eventful Friday night. I was hoping to enjoy a meal, but I was highly disappointed. Let's get into the details: Apps: Oysters- I wasn't a huge fan of the Coco Passion mignonette; it had a subtle flavor and missed the brininess of the oyster. The house-made hot sauce definitely made it more flavorful, adding spice and acid. Also, why weren't they chilling on ice? Rating 3/5. Conch Fritters: Fried, fluffy, and tasty. It was also paired with a dipping sauce to add a little bit of twang and spice. Rating: 3.5/5 Entree's: Jerk NY Strip- I would never qualify that as a jerk sauce; there was no spice, it was more like a sweet chutney sauce that smothered the steak. The steak looked and tasted like it was boiled, with no sear. The rice was crunchy and a little undercooked. It reminded me of the scrapings from the bottom of a large pot of rice. The plantain needed to be cooked a bit longer; they were really firm. Rating: 1/5 Cornbread crusted snapper- The fish was fried well, but it was underseasoned. You could tell they didn't season the fish fry batter. A bit of salt sprinkled after the cook would go a long way. The beans were tender and also a bit underseasoned, but the dish was very light. Rating 3/5 Oxtail Mac and Cheese- That was more of a safer and tastier option, but I'm not sure why a lot of the sauces are so sweet. The mac and cheese was cheesy and creamy with tender, shredded bits of oxtail. Rating: 4/5 I would come back for drinks and live music, but I will definitely skip dinner.

Really, REALLY great spot to eat! As a family of 4 we kind of just accidentally wandered here from…read moreour hotel and it was such a surprise! One kid wanted pasta, one kid wanted tacos, my husband didn't know "what he was feeling" and I just wanted everyone to eat and stop whining! This was a PERFECT solution. There are 2 stories with so many options for food! My 5 year old got his spaghetti and marinera sauce at one restaurant store front (?), my son and I had the best birria tacos from another spot and my husband ended up with chicken and gravy from a third spot. Everyone was actually happy with dinner! I don't know about parking, seemed like some street parking but we had walked. Everyone we felt with was fine and it seemed overall well kept. What I love is that it felt like a high end food court. Like all the options of a mall food court but WAY better options and a million % better quality food. Absolutely recommend coming here to eat. Everything is served on real dishes with actual silverware you leave in a bin. As soon as we were getting up, someone was already there to start cleaning up and wiping down the table, I was impressed. Go and enjoy!

First of all....someone call Jon Taffer because i seriously felt like I was on bar rescue!!!…read more I am sincerely sad I missed this place in its prime! I went for the first time today and there were literally 10 out of the 26 places open. The third floor is completely closed down which is understandable if the idea is to move all the current vendors up to the third floor and create a sports bar on the main floor which is what I was told by one of the last standing vendors...and I hope this is true because otherwise it's a sign that the doors will be closing soon because they simply cannot maintain with 3 floors and only 10 working vendors. We walked in, kind of in shock because the place was completely empty. There were approximately 4-6 customers eating at 2 spots, the main bar was open but all employees were on their phones waiting for business. We nervously circled the main floor then headed up to the second floor to see if anything caught our eye... the Fookem's Fabulous - Pie Vending Machine was empty and shut down...so sad I wanted to try it..so then we headed back down to the first floor where we stopped to ponder..what's the food quality like if they aren't moving products because there are literally no people buying... but bravely continuing on, we stopped at Chicken Bras and got 2 chicken empanadas for $9 they were fried fresh but a little salty in my opinion and then to B&D's Texas Bbq. We tried the platter that comes with 3 meats- Brisket, smoked turkey, and pork ribs, 2sides - Mac and cheese and potato salad and we did an add on of 1 piece of cornbread, and 2 drinks $68 all in.. everything was mid.. not great, not bad..(except the potato salad may have been old, it was a little sus) The main dining area has high top tables but all the fabric seats are old, stained, and the foot bars are busted.. the dining upstairs has low tables but the seats had crumbs and questionable residue. Would I return? Absolutely the heck not. This place had its day and now food halls are just a thing of the past I guess unless Jon Taffer can come up with a kitschy concept to bring it back to life...

Great mom and pop local sports bar, very cool vibe with tasteful sports memorabilia decor lining the walls, and numerous TVs from every angle. JT's has a chill, comforting ambiance and is a very clean establishment. Our server was sweet, helpful, friendly and efficient. As for the food... it was excellent! Everything we ordered was so delicious! We got a salad (super fresh!) sliders (amazing!), onion rings (to die for!), house wings (definitely a repeat), quesadillas, and chicken tenders with curly fries (a hit for the kiddo). Generous portions, reasonably priced, and super flavorful. Also, this was hands down, the best blue cheese dressing I've ever had in my life! (Made in house). We will absolutely become regulars at JT's from now on. Can't wait to try everything else on their extensive and appetizing menu! Kudos to the owners! I hope you stay in business forever! It's a 10/10 for me!
