Went to the HOT HIT Pilates class and it was amazing!!! Signed up for a membership right after!! Highly recommend!

I've been wanting to try hot Pilates for a while and came across this studio while driving through Ho'opili--so glad I did! It's super convenient and close to home. The owner, Catherine, is incredibly sweet, welcoming, and informative, which made me feel comfortable right away as a first-timer. I love that registration is via text--so easy--and she makes sure you're fully prepared before your first class. The class is challenging (in the best way!), and the instructors really focus on proper form, which I appreciate. The vibe is also amazing--everyone is so kind and welcoming. They also have some of the most affordable pricing I've come across, which is a huge plus. I've recommended friends to join me, and they've loved it just as much. I've been following HYPE on IG for a while and always wanted to try one of their classes! I tried their Inferno HIIT Pilates class with Catherine. I love how they message/ check in with you before class and give you clear instructions on what to bring and where it's located. I found the studio easily and there was a lot of street parking. It was a full class but I'm glad there were beginners like me in there. I also saw people I recognized which was nice. I love that Catherine walks around class and fixes your form. The workout was tough and really pushes you through your limits which I needed. Definitely a humbling experience! Can't wait to take more classes! read more

Amazing experience. The owner was so friendly and kind which is half of the reason i will be back! the other half is that the class itself is well structured. The studio itself is clean and organized, and it allows for a strong sense of girlhood. The instructor does an excellent job of describing exactly what she wants us to do (which is nice since they are not there to be hands on). Really really nice clean modern studio, albeit small (would not want to be in there with more than six people). But that never happened, was always 2-4 at 0900. Catherine is very helpful and the means of delivery (televised instructor from all over the world) is not a deficit, it works fine, maybe even better than in person. Price is perfectly fair. Now as far as the yoga itself--maybe if you're a competitive D1 or serious tri-athlete, you can do another workout that day. Otherwise, wow. It is not the typical yoga-granola off-day refresher. Maybe the one hour instead of the half hour sessions are like that, but the practice is very intense...In a light-medium-heavy cycle, it would be the medium day. It also works great as the day before a totally down day. There are a lot of isometrics and prolonged holds and 90 minutes in a sauna is strenuous in and of itself. They also do the exact same moves every day every time, which gives one a chance to gauge progress or develop a feel for when to back off or push. Two thumbs way, way up! read more

OMFGGGGG CATHERINE IS AMAZING!!! The class was PAIN but she really pushed and motivated myself to work through. Super excited to attend my class on Friday night. Side note: I was very nervous and reluctant to join a yoga/pilates studio... being a former soccer player. But thanks to my SIL she mentioned HYPE. And I was torn between two companies... but decided with hype cause there are more classes offered, location is closer to home, and wanted fun over seriousness. I love that the class is small and intimate and the environment of the studio was so welcoming and comfortable. The studio is super clean and well maintained. I LOVE the music and disco ball and lights at the ewa beach studio! I never thought it would be fun doing HIIT/Pilates! I signed up for HYPE because it was close to home and wanted to do something more low-impact vs. hitting the traditional gym. Hot yoga itself is relatively new to me because never would I have thought I would enjoy being in the heat lol. The day before my first class, Catherine reached out and made the sign-up process so easy. She even greeted me on my first day! I really appreciate that it's a small studio because it's less intimidating for newbies like me. My first class I was BEAT, partially my fault because I didn't hydrate enough before class, but the following day I had so much more energy and endurance than I did prior to starting hot yoga. As a new parent - it's been quite the challenge to carve out some self care me time so having convenient access to things like that is oh so helpful! This cute boutique yoga studio in the ever growing Hoopili community is filling that need. Super clean studio with fun lighting and nice ambient music during your 26/2 Bikram practice. Is it hot: absolutely! Will you sweat: no doubt in places you didn't think you could sweat. It's aaall good: there's an indoor and outdoor shower for that if you need it right away. If you're after a low key session to stretch out tension that you can see and feel with every drop of perspiration that leaves your body in a small setting buy into the HYPE and give it a try!!! Best schedule opportunities for both hot yoga and hot pilates... no excuses not to attend. Went to my first HYPE Pilates session and it was a WORKOUT! Great members.... Friendly and helpful. This Heated HIT Pilates class completely blew me away! I honestly, didn't expect to love it as much as I do. The instructor is next-level amazing: super knowledgeable, down-to-earth, and somehow knows exactly when to push you and when to encourage you. I've taken other classes before, but this one just hits differently. it's challenging in the best way and leaves me feeling strong and refreshed . I actually look forward to it every week (which says a lot coming from someone who used to dread workouts). Heated Pilates is a really popular fitness trend right now and I was looking for somewhere that was close to me and reasonable in price. Having said that, I am so happy I got to experience my first time at HYPE! This place checks all the boxes!! Catherine is so sweet, very thorough in sharing information, and very knowledgeable in what she does. She truly cares for her clients and made my first visit super easy and stress free! She's very tentative to you especially if it's your first time and helps you get the best burn/workout. Catherine is an amazing teacher! She will correct your form to where it's comfortable for you so you aren't aching the next day. Went on a Sunday morning at their advertised time. No one was in the facility. There was a video on tv facing the gym, going on you can see from the outside. No one was there , no answer on door bell either. Don't waste your time and just watch a free yoga video at home versus go to a studio like this. No instructors onsite. read more
