This place is great and surpassed my expectations. I was an idiot and scraped the side of my car with a parking pillar. I brought it in and the manager, Ed, was accommodating from the get-go. He was immediately attentive and took his time assessing the damage, relaying the work that needed to be done, and brought up a quote. After the paperwork was drawn up he went over it again with me, explaining the amount of labor involved. He gave me a slight discount, which was appreciated, and said to do my due diligence and get other quotes, and make sure I'm satisfied. I went to numerous places, getting more estimates, and while Hyperion wasn't the cheapest for this work (but definitely not the priciest either!) it was really the only shop I felt confident going with. Everywhere else it was like I was invisible, like I was inconveniencing the managers, or the quotes just ended up being wildly expensive. I called Ed back within a day or two, he said to drop off my car on a Monday, and I'd have it back by that Friday. Not only was the damage completely gone and the car door repainted, but it was executed superbly. They also cleaned the entire vehicle which was awesome and I felt like I'd made the right decision. Unfortunately I was involved in a car accident. Driver side front end, the other party's fault. Given the yelp reviews, I decided to go with Hyperion for the repairs. From the get go, Ed was really helpful in talking me through the steps of what the process might be (he was very knowledgeable about the processes of the insurance company I was working with, State Farm) The repairs took about a month (it was during the holidays, working with the insurance on getting the right quote etc) when I got the car back : car looked brand new. They did EXTRA repair on the house; They DETAILED my car; and the car was whiter than I have ever saw (other than when I purchased the car) I had some Knick nacks n the car and they neatly put it in the middle consul, I suspect before cleaning. We needed to fix our car after an accident in March 2015 and looked into different body shops in the Los Angeles area. Aside from the good reviews that we read about Pristine Automotive Center inc., the main thing that drove our decision to choose them was the fact that they offered to pay our deductible if the repairs were above a certain price. Even though they took longer than we would have liked (which may not be their fault since some of the parts for our car were apparently back ordered), the repairs were done very well and our car did not have any problems since then. The battery on our 350Z went out on me yesterday morning, making me so late to work that I knew I could not take anymore time off of work for a long time -- my job is very strict where attendance is concerned. This morning, I got a jumpstart from my building's valet attendant, and made it to work with the hopes that somewhere nearby would be able to replace my battery during my lunch break or after work. The problem was, nobody within walking distance had any availability during my lunch, and most of them closed around 6pm (I don't get off work until 5:30pm). Additionally, they wanted close to $230 for the battery with installation (See: Sears, AutoZone, Pepboys, Nissan of Glendale). I did some yelping, and found Pristine. They were a 15 minute drive from my work, so I was doubtful, after all the prior phone calls, that they'd be able to take me in during my lunch break and get me out in time. I was informed that they had the right battery, that the total would be quite literally HALF of the price I was quoted everywhere else, and that they could have me in and out in about 45 minutes -- no waiting time. (I'm sorry, WHAT? Are you serious?) Turns out, they're very serious. Upon arrival, they introduced themselves, took the car straight back to begin working on it, sat me down/served me a cold bottle of water, and handed me the remote to the TV. By the time I was halfway through with that bottle of water, I was informed that my car was all set. Apparently when they say 45 minutes, they mean 25 minutes. They rang me up, let me know that my lights are a bit foggy and they can clean them up for me for a really good price (which I absolutely intend to do once I get back from vacation), and sent me on my way. No b/s, no crazy upselling tactics, no creepy mechanics trying to come on to me. Just simple and easy and SUPER fast. Not to mention, very affordable, especially for a sports car. Big shout out to Patrick for doing an amazing fast & efficient job -- the Z roars now (instead of coughing) when I start it up. Thanks for not wasting my time, guys. Means a lot to me.
