I called to see if they had pre-made ice cream cakes available and the lady on the phone was so patient to explain and later sent me photos of all their available selections for the day. It was for my son under 10 years old and I ended picking the caramel ice cream with chocolate waffle cone pieces with the fun ice cream cone on top ($69) as the cake of choice. It was literally a "piece of cake" to order on the phone for pickup later that day. My birthday is at the end of the month and hopefully they have the chocolate Belgium ice cream cake topped with Oreo cookies ($89)! It was so delicious and literally the best customer service ever! I asked if she could not blend my milkshake as much and she charged me an extra dollar for it after I explained to her that that was ridiculous and then she promised me she wouldn't charge me but charge me anyway. very disappointed, very upsetting and a waste of money. Excellent rocky road malt. Wonderful service from an employee that wanted me to taste a lot flavors. Ate outside with my son and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Great quality icecream with the rocky road flavor full of almonds, mini marshmallows, and chocolate. Ordered 2 scoops of sorbet they served in a short kiddie size cup. Top scoop was hang over one side. Asked for a larger more appropriate sized cup but the girl working there flat out refused to accommodate for reasons only she understood. We all know how conventionally great Haagen Dazs is. I even had extended family members who worked at a Haagen Dazs factory in Canada, so I remember my freezer being stocked with pints of heaven as a kid. Only if I were tall enough to know that it was there 24/7. Although the brand is not my favorite, yet comparable to other ice cream locations, I was really impressed with this location. Typically, we have been arriving to this location later on in the evening when most stores in the Waterside Shops are closed. If you know where it's located, it's a nice gem to end your dinner off without the expense of paying a buttload for dessert at the surrounding restaurants. Sidenote: Starbucks would probably have more business if their hours were open later than 8PM. So, kudos to Haagen Dazs for capturing the after dinner crowd! As far as their product goes, I'm quite the traditionalist and would usually get a scoop of ice cream on a cake cone, but their picture boards make their magical concoctions cry out and say "EAT ME!" Seriously. If you saw a picture of their tiramisu sundae, you would forget what you initially wanted to order. The initial intent of me writing a review for this place is their customer service. It's spot on. So spot on, that my frugal husband left a great tip. As previously mentioned, when coming late to an establishment close to its closing, comes with low expectations. This one instance brought in a big family before us, and her pleasant attitude took my notice. It would have been easy to decline certain requests because certain pieces of equipment had already been cleaned and wiped down. Not for her. She was in full throttle ready to make that money. Good job, girl! I did not feel like a nuisance for coming in late like those venues that give you learing looks at the front door when you interrupt their furious sweeping. Great product, but customer service is seriously lacking. I went for some ice cream with my two children while my wife was doing some shopping. I had an immediate need for some napkins upon my entering the store; while my children were perusing the flavor options, I asked for some napkins, and the shopkeeper, clearly annoyed, said "well, what do you want?" I love going to get icecream after a day of Christmas shopping for my relatives and my family. I headed over to this shop only to not be welcomed in with any "hello" of some sort only a dirty look. I ignored that, maybe she was having a bad day I don't know the details I'm really not one to judge. This experience only got worse. I was having trouble making a decision and maybe thought the employee would help me. I said "excuse me" probably about 3 or 4 times until she came to assist me. I asked about the icecream and then noticed the name on her name tag. Miss Ayleen talked to me in a tone that seemed like she had much better things to do other than her job. I was very upset. Every time I've come in I've been greeted with nothing but a smile and hello and have had no bad experiences. Unfortunately, not when miss Ayleen was working. I hope this location can do a much better job when choosing the faces of their store. I really hope this employee doesn't speak to other customers like I was spoken to. read more

Haagen Dazs used to be such a treat, before there were a million high-end ice creams available at any grocery store. That being said, Haagen Dazs is still one of the best. High quality ingredients, no chemicals or junk, and great texture. At the Shop in Naples, there are a bunch of flavors that you can't get at the grocery. And they make fantastic sundaes and shakes. What amazing service beyond the call of duty! I mistakenly left my credit card at the store and went about my other business. The server, Janice, called the credit card company. Although the credit card company said "destroy the card"; Janice refused and convinced them not to stop my card account. She then Googled my name, found my office number, called our executive assistant, who called me, and I went back to the store and recovered my card.
