Normally, I receive excellent service from the young Indian gentleman who works there, and that's one of the reasons I've continued coming back. Recently, however, there has been a new employee working in the mornings, and the service experience has noticeably declined. The first time I encountered him, I actually had to leave without my order because the wait time was excessively long. Today was even worse. I arrived around 8:55 AM, placed and paid for my order, and there were four people ahead of me in line. Three of those customers ordered before me, and all three received their drinks while I was still standing there waiting. Both employees then appeared ready to head to the back as if all orders had been completed, while I still had not received my smoothie. After noticing me still waiting, the employee made a random smoothie with Gladiator protein that was not the smoothie I ordered. I then had to correct him and ask him to add the proper ingredients to make the actual drink I paid for. I did not leave until approximately 9:22 AM. A nearly 30-minute wait for a smoothie -- combined with the incorrect order and lack of awareness -- made this by far the worst service experience I've had at this location. I'm not someone who normally complains, but this experience was extremely frustrating, especially considering how consistently good the service usually is.
