Technician brought car around, "noticed" tire pressure light was on, took car back to shop for 30 minutes only to tell us pressure is good- just drive until tire pressure light goes off. The light was not on when I finally got in the car. Not sure what that was about. The repair had nothing to do with tires. Would never refer!!! read more

Took my rare SUV here for an estimate on a simple fender repair, but with damage to steering and alignment. The estimator was ignorant to the fact that extensive damage was caused to very serious components and did not include those in the quote. Even a rough estimate on at least the larger components would've been very helpful. AAA recommends this place, which is probably just a licensing deal. So don't take that into account when looking for a shop. This place might be okay for everyday cars, but nothing exotic! read more

After experiencing a horrifying car vs. loose dog accident on the I-17, I ended up with some pretty serious damage to my vehicle. After taking the car to my preferred shop, they informed me the damage was pretty extensive and needed body work. They recommended I-17 Collision, and I agreed to have them tow the car to their shop on Peoria and 23rd Ave. Communication with the folks at I-17 was great. I dealt exclusively with Marcina and Xavier, and both were always pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable. They kept me up-to-date on the progress of the repairs with almost-daily phone calls and explained to me exactly what was going on. It's great to know that the businesses I frequent and trust are able to recommend other businesses of the same caliber. This place was amazing. I had bumper damage to my car, and they were able to fix it all without even replacing the bumper it self. When I got my car back, I was shocked. It looked better than before my accident! They even touched up a bit of the paint that was not caused by the accident because they were already in that area. That is the sign of a great company that really goes the extra mile. The technician, Josh, told me it would be about 4 days and that my car I dropped off Monday would be ready hopefully by Friday. It was ready on WEDNESDAY! Wow! Fast service with a smile. Marcina the customer service rep was also super communicative during the process, always sent me updates on my car, and always offered me cold water the moment I walked in. UPDATE: After about 6 months, I noticed the right side rocker panel "appeared" to be coming loose, same area they worked on in December. I called Rosie and she set me up to have it looked at since it was still under warranty. Low and behold I met with the owner, Kevin Rowe, and he had his guys take a quick look. Long story short, the panel itself was permanently warped from being heated during the first fix (and not really that noticeable), so he offered to replace the entire panel, paint and all, for no charge. I was somewhat taken back by the generous offer but he insisted on making it right. Two weeks later I received a call from him personally letting me know it was time to bring the car in. I made an early morning appointment for the following week and in less than an hour I was back on the road. Kevin is a stand up guy and is willing to do whatever necessary to make the customer happy (within reason, I'm sure). And I know, because he did it for me without any insistence on my part. Hopefully I'll never need his service again, but if I do, I'll be back! read more

Replaced the front bumper of my car and it started peeling in just a couple of months. Went back to have it replaced. What. Huge mistake! I was planning on moving back to NC next week and now am stuck here because of the shoddy workmanship. There's tape on the front fender which of course does not belong there. There's a front section where the bumper does not fit/meet properly. Btw this was fixed in only 1 hour! I waited in the waiting room while they claimed to have finished the job. Now the bumper is literally falling off the car! My insurance adjuster is going to contact them. But in the meantime it's costing me thousands of dollars and much time spending time in AZ when I had planned on being in NC by next week. I also realized there was an led flashlight missing from my vehicle and one other small inexpensive item. Never would recommend them due to my horrific experiences!! Go to a real auto body shop that cares about not only your car, as you do, but your pocketbook, as well. read more

This place was the perfect choice for me! I was in an accident and my driver side door was destroyed. I wasn't at fault, so I was NOT happy about paying the deductible, but the AAA discount they extended was really great. Marcina took control of everything as soon as I called and enlisted their services. She dealt with the tow yard where my car was being stored and with my insurance company. i have been very disappointed in my decision with using this place for my auto repair , this was the 4 time i have had to bring it back to get if fixed . the first and the 2 time was because of some bonding material that they used instead of spot welding the panel then 2 yrs later the paint had a bubble and the manager '' X'' wanted to let me know with his experience in the industry that it happen because of BIRD POOP left on the paint .... and now this time the whole top rail clear coat was peeling i spoke with Kevin the OWNER and he asked if i kept the truck out side because the paint will only last about 5 yrs so just remember that when they tell you about the life time warranty they only mean 5 yrs outside.. Tuesday i was to drop off my truck i show up at 7:30 as there sign say that is what time they open . Ryan shows up and lets me know they cant help me till 8:00 but he will do what he can .. i get there loaner car and the paint is peeling on it also .. lol!! i ask to have Kevin to call me and Ryan says okay because i would like to know what they plan on doing. i never hear from them till i call on Wednesday to check on it and they tell me its getting buffed and they would call me at 4:30 i have to call back on Friday to find out that the had the wrong phone number the only problem it that i gave Kevin my updated information and he put it in the computer . so i tell Ashley the right number HEY RYAN I GUESS SHE DID'NT DO HER JOB RIGHT WHEN I GAVE HER THE RIGHT ONE ... I STILL NEVER GOT A CALL BACK AS YOU SAID I WOULD ,,,,,, one last thing they give you a loaner car and ask that u put back the gas you use well who put back the 1/4 tank that was used from my truck for some reason in the 4 days it ran for a total of 1hr thank you snapshot .. I have used them once before on a previous accident. Honestly I walked away with an eh feeling. They did drop the ball right in the beginning but in the end they did the job and I have no complaints on the repair. So when I needed a second repair done I thought why not. Honestly I was just being lazy and didn't feel like finding a different repair shop. So I called them over a week ago and left a message for Xavier. He did not return my call. I call again today. I believe I spoke to Tommy. I expressed my disappointment in not returning my call and he was extremely friendly and answered all of my questions. My intention was to bring my truck in for the estimate in the next day or two after talking to Tommy. But shortly after I hung up with Tommy, Xavier called me and rudely says "yea I'm returning your call" I was very confused as to why he even called me at this point and I said "oh from last week" thinking it was a coincidence. And he said "no you just called earlier today" maybe it was just me, but I did not get the impression from Xavier that he wanted my business. And I decided a while ago that I work too hard for my money to give it to some rude ungrateful business. I will consider it a lessons learned. Go with your gut. After the first repair I walked away unimpressed, I'm not sure why I would have expected more from a second visit. read more

I would not recommend this establishment. External damage was repaired but electrical problems that were not there prior to the accident were not even looked in to. When we contacted them to fix shortly after getting our truck back, they stated that we had to incur cost to run a diagnostic test on the vehicle and IF they agreed, they and AAA insurance authorize repair. After talking to 2 dealerships, we found out that the diagnostic test they are asking for will not diagnose the problems we are having. The internal damage exceeds over $3500.00 based on the dealership estimate. Basically, that's money out of my pocket for damage to my vehicle for an accident where I was not at fault. AND the kicker is that AAA stated that they recommended this establishment and if there were any problems for the lifetime of the vehicle, the workmanship was guaranteed by both I-17 Collision and AAA. Yea right. Proceed with caution folks. read more

I would stay as far away from I-17 Collision as I could!! I had my car towed to AAA auto repair on Thunderbird and 75th ave for window roof repair. AAA referred me to I-17 Collision. I-17 Collision quoted me a price and gave me a completion date. When that date arrived and driving my rental I stopped to pay and left for work leaving my vehicle there having been told it would be delivered at end of day. Before I arrived to work less than 30 minutes I got a call stating the vehicle would't be ready. Disappointment number 1. Asking what was wrong I was told the upholstry shop had problems and the headliner wouldn't be ready. I advised them to leave the headliner out, since I wasn't going to keep the rental longer at an expensive daily rate. When I arrived home, the vehicle was sitting in the driveway. Upon review, I found the interior completely filthy, covered in white powdery substance completely covering the interior. Wooden blocks and trash in the floorboard. And no support handles that were before taking to I-17, were attached to the ceiling of the rear doors and passenger door. I found the handles in the floorboard. After going ballistic with them, they came and picked up the vehicle the next day to finish the job. Disappointment number 2. Soon after I got a call from them informing me the handles were broken upon removal. Or were broken prior to them getting the vehicle. They can be fixed with screws. I asked Xavier would he be happy with screws and told him to bring the car home. It was delivered, now with slits in the headliner and missing handles. Ballistic time again. A few days later I got a call again from Xavier telling me they would find replacement handles and correct the problem. Several weeks later they for the third time picked up the vehicle and delivered it supposedly repaired. Disappointment number 3! Now I have a missing handle on the front passenger ceiling (this handle is still ;aying in the rear floorboard where they left it), a broken rear ceiling handle hanging by a wire, a trim bar that is not attached and falls in the floorboard every time there is a bump in the road. I disputed the charge for the headliner but every time I get into my vehicle my blood pressure goes sky high. Kevin did call me to discuss options however there are no options for satisfaction until their lack of attention to detail, crappy workmanship, and careless attitude repairs my vehicle. read more
