I ordered the red curry beef. It was too sweet for my taste and had very few pieces of meat. Me and my friend spend over $50 on lunch (my friend ordered 2 extra dishes to go) and when I asked for more rice for the curry, they charged me extra. Service is average, I expected a little more attentiveness since they were not that busy. Prices are a little high for the size of the portions. read more

Wow! Finally a GREAT Thai place in Salmon Creek. I ordered my food to go and ordered the Chicken Phad Thai and Shrimp Salad Rolls. I am picky with my Phad Thai. I hate soupiness. This was PERFECT! Just enough sauce, noodles cooked perfectly! The peanut sauce for the salad rolls was perfect. They were HUGE and greatly stuffed. The ONLY reason I am giving it a 4 star instead of 5 is I wish there were more chicken in the Phad Thai and more shrimp in the salad rolls. The salad rolls were mostly salad with a couple pieces of shrimp. If they cut the shrimp in 1/2 and layered it throughout the roll you'd have one perfect bite every time. I will definitely go back but may ask for more chicken and shrimp!! read more

I went here because of all the good reviews. I found the restaurant clean and was greeted as soon as I came in. I ordered the Chicken Satay and the Basil Chicken. The Chicken Satay was good. The seasoning and way it was grilled was delicious. The traditional Cucumber salad that comes with satay was fresh and crunchy. A little bit more dressing would have been good. The peanut sauce, though, was a little bland. It didn't have a strong "peanut" flavor. My Basil Chicken was disappointing. First, the menu didn't specify that they use ground chicken. I really don't like ground chicken. Also, it comes served over a bed of rice. About 90% of the time, I only eat a few bites of rice. I prefer to eat the vegetables & chicken by themselves. Also, there was NO sauce with my dish. It was very dry. Prepared and served this way, I did not like it, and definitely wouldn't order it again. BTW, Basil Chicken is one of my favorite dishes and I've had it lots of times at many other Thai restaurants. A restaurant should have it spelled out that they use ground chicken. read more

Great presentation and really fresh.....that being said portions were small for the price. Shrimp roll appetizer had very little shrimp.

Well... All I have to say is how things change!! My wife and I have eaten here about 17 or so times and will no longer waste our time going here but will instead go further away to Planet Thai from now on! The last two times we have been seated and waited for over ten minutes to get any service only to have tables that came in well after us get their water and or orders taken first. No attention to detail or organization. No service standards. We don't look like dirtbags and are more than loyal to good mom and pop businesses. No longer will we support such indifferent service from a BAD restaurant. We live in the Mt.Vista neighborhood and this is super close but I'd rather eat at the local gas station microwaving a gut bomb burrito than spend more of our money in that sad establishment! read more

Good food - super disappointing service. Ordered Grubhub because I did not want to leave the house. Chicken pad Thai NO SPICE (breastfeeding and he can't have spice). Got super spicey food. Called and said I'd return my current food if they could send me food I could eat. They said they would make me new food but that was it. As great as that is - I already paid a delivery fee and I had no intention of leave so no. I do not want to come to you to get more food. This is by far my favorite Thai place I've tried so far. Friendly service, never had to wait very long for food or a table. Thai iced tea is SO good, I get the spicy cashew chicken. The crab puffs are the best I've had and the crispy rolls are really tasty starters! Never disappointed and they were more than willing to cater to gluten free for our family at request! We, too, were excited to find a new restaurant up here in Salmon Creek. Took the family to dinner on a Friday night, and this was our experience. The good: generous portions that allowed our family to enjoy leftovers for lunch the next day, seemingly fresh ingredients, and friendly service. We also dug the decor- modern and somewhat hip. My husband's "sassy chicken" (?) included grilled chicken thighs with a spicy sauce and an interesting purple sticky rice. The okay: The flavor of most of the dishes. We tried a total of four different dishes. My daughter's orange chicken was tasty, although probably not traditional. It included fried battered chicken with orange sauce and copious amounts of rice. The pad Thai and the pad se ew both needed a little more time in the pan so the sauces could caramelize and add more complexity of flavor. Wish my "two star" on the pad se ew included some kind of heat- it was missing any hint of spice. Not bad though. The bad: not much. I stopped in here for the first time after class at WSU to try it out and I loved it. The atmosphere is quaint, tin and copper water cups, the food is served in metalware, and some drinks in mason jars. I dig that a lot. Food wise all I had was the Massaman Curry and a Thai ice tea, and the curry was god damn perfect. Massaman is my favorite dish and they nailed it. Probably my new favorite in the area. Creamy and savory, lots of chicken the potatoes weren't too hard, plenty of peanuts, and large soft onions. The jasmine rise was fresh. For a first impressing this place was awesome. I can't wait to try other dishes after school. My total was 14.09 for the Curry and Thai ice tea for price reference. They have lunch specials before 3pm that I want to try. Bit easier on my college budget. But for $17~ I'm very pleased for a sit down Thai restaurant. read more

Poor service. Slow kitchen. Flavors good though. They served the two families that came in after us their entrees before ours. I am not sure what happened. Our server was very short with us, and they weren't willing to modify my chicken. The "mild" was very spicy, and had my friend and I both tearing up before our third bites. read more

The is clean, fresh and tasty food. It is a nice family atmosphere and reasonably priced. I have eaten here half a dozen times in the last two months. They are always friendly and consistent with their food product. There have been times when communicating my order has been a challenge and I end up with the wrong meal. Great Pad Thai!
