Zero stars! Company has terrible customer service. They rarely answer the phone. Izzy will reply with a text promising to call you shortly but never does. What was to be a three week job took months. They finished the kitchen portion of the job and then blew us off when it came to the dining room cabinets. Now that they have most of the money they are refusing to finish the job! They will not respond to any form of communication to attempt the get the job finished. There was numerous mistakes in manufacturing of the kitchen cabinets that had to be redone causing delays. The portion of the job they completed looks decent. The quality of the kitchen cabinets I would give a 7 out of 10. read more

Awful experience overall. My cabinets were delivered/ installed over 4 months after the completion date on my contract. My project was not a priority for them unless I physically went to the shop to ask to see progress and discuss what was outstanding. They were very hard to communicate with over text and phone (because they were unresponsive or gave me the run around). I have so many reasons for you not them- feel free to reach out if your considering them and I can tell you what your getting into. One example, every time they would schedule an install they would arrive with only some but not all the cabinets. This went on for months. Near the end, sometimes the installer would just show up at 6pm (unannounced) and ask to stay till midnight to work on the cabinets. The entire process was unprofessional. read more

This company has the absolute worst customer service. The small desk was installed improperly. You put anything in the drawers and the drawers opened by themselves because it's so off level. After about 10 weeks they sent a technician outBut he was unable to fix it. I went back to the company walked in to Izzy's office, the owner, and told him directly the issue, sent him photos and here we are 3 weeks later and no call no response nothing. A word of advice, the "no payments for 6 months" sounds enticing, but the company that handles the financing (Mosaic) are a bunch of jerks who are charging me interest even though I paid the loan off in full before the 6 month period ended. As the saying goes, "there's no such thing as a free loan". :-( read more

Take your money elsewhere. You are better off going to IKEA Or some other cabinet maker. After repeated visits to my home to measure a small area for a bar cabinet, they still got it wrong. They cut the cabinets 3 inches short then stuffed small pieces of wood under the cabinet to make it fit. Also, my beverage fridge that is supposed to be built-in doesn't fit properly. The workmanship is poor quality and the installation was also very sloppy. They left debris everywhere and I had to clean it up. Long story short, my contractor suggested I allow I & E to make my kitchen and bath cabinets and main bedroom closets. Issue #1.... Poor Quality - They installed particle board instead of wood cabinets. Part of the issue was my own fault. I trusted I & E to sell me quality wood cabinets. I was a novice and thought melamine was a finish that went over the wood for design purposes. The salesman told me it was the best material to use and used in all high-end homes. This was not true. Issue #2.... Poor Quality - The bathroom cabinet door broke off within one month. They came and fixed it. It broker again a month later. Many of the cabinet doors stopped fully closing within eight (8) months. Issue #3.... Poor Design - The closets are boxes and poorly designed. My clothes drag on the bottom; they mis-measured. They also put the closet boxes in an existing closet leaving a lot of unused space. After less than one year the doors stopped closing completely. Issue #4.... Poor Customer Service - The slick salesman made a lot of promises and left town. No one currently in the I & E Cabinet office will take responsibility for the issues. I'm now throwing all the cabinets in the trash and using a reputable company who can do the job properly with quality material. This was my experience. If you choose to use them, I hope you have a better experience. I cannot recommend I & E Cabinets. read more

About 15 years ago, my husband and I decided to redo our kitchen. We went to Home Depot and had a lengthy design consultation. The result? A $32,000 quote for cabinets and installation. And on top of that, they wanted us to move a pocket door because their cabinets were all 24" deep. I remembered a very nice cabinet company that had given one of my clients an interview. I called and they sent out an estimator. He spent over 6 hours measuring and discussing our kitchen project. He said we would not have to move a pocket door, and could have all the features we wanted (solid wood doors, custom cat door for the cats, etc.) and all of this was $17,000. Nearly half what Home Depot wanted, and it was all custom. The kitchen was created and looks fantastic to this day. Recently, I noticed some discoloration on one of the cabinet doors. I called I and E, they have moved to Van Nuys. They looked at my cabinet door, and refinished it. Now, my kitchen is back to being perfect. They are a great company to work with. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE......DONT USE THESE PEOPLE UNLESS YOU LIKE CRAPY SERVICE. I contracted them to reface my cabinets and they dropped the ball several times. 1. they had to come out twice to measure and keep in mind, my kitchen is very small. 2. on the day of install they were missing my rollers on 2 of the drawers...the cabinets were NOT measured correctly so they could not install that day. 3. we waited almost 3 weeks for them to come back and install. 4. as a result of the delay, we had to reschedule my painter at a later date. 5. When my painter finally came back, he notified me that the holes for the handles were not perfectly aligned therefor he needed to drill more holes which obviously cost me more money. I have used this painter for 12 years and he knows exactly what he is doing. THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT THIS COMPANY OR AT LEAST THE OWNERS OF THIS COMPANY DONT CARE. I never received one call regarding their mistakes, but I did get a call from their office asking me to pay the balance WHICH I DID. i JUST PURCHASED A BUILDING IN GLENDALE AND THE BREAK ROOM KITCHEN NEEDS A FACE LIFT AND THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL I WOULD EVER USE THESE PEOPLE AGAIN- NOT EVEN FOR FREE. read more

I decided to remodel my parents kitchen because my parents had it for like 26 years and I didn't like my kitchen before. I decided to try I & E cabinets and Dave was so nice and professional to my parents and me and he had a great pitch when selling his cabinets to me that I decided to go for it. It was the best decision I've made, my parents and I love the new kitchen. The remodel of the kitchen was a Christmas present to my parents. My parents have always dreamed of having a nicer kitchen but didn't think it was going to be possible and I wanted to give them this as a gift. German even came to our house and worked on the kitchen cabinets on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. He made sure everything was as perfect as it can be. I wasted a week of my time I didn't have communicating back and forth with I&E Cabinets. I forwarded a picture of exactly the bathroom cabinets I wanted custom made. They came to my home to take measurements, and there again I explained exactly what I wanted. When they sent the design, it was nothing like I requested. I couldn't trust them anymore and decided to go with someone else, and I'll be receiving my cabinets a week later than I wanted due to this. read more

Takes them a long time to respond to your phone calls. You can tell them till you're blue in the face. The installer installed them incorrectly! However if the installer doesn't want to take the time to uninstall and reinstall them properly they just go on with what the installer tells them. Now I have a gap on my wall of 34' to place a range hood. They don't make 34' wall mount range hoods. Only 30' or 36' but they do make 34' insert range hoods. So since the installer didn't want to install them correctly. I've been trying since March 2022 to get a hold of the to make me a 34' cabinet so I can install the Range Hood. I am willing to pay for it, but they never return messages or answer their phone!! Every time I cook my fire alarms go off. I bought the cabinets on time. A down payment then two small payments and a big payment went they are done. This is done through a loan company they offer. The morning that they need to come over to install or do their work. The girls in the office are BLOWING UP your phone saying to call the loan company and tell them that phase of the work is done. That tells me this company is living hand to mouth! So take it for what it's worth but I can not recommend I & E. I'm sorry I ever found them!!! read more

I had my kitchen remodeled about one month ago. I love the results! We used a combination of refacing and new cabinets to modify the lay out and salvage my existing granite counter tops. I have worked with contractors for a variety of jobs: landscaping, drywall, plumbing, custom carpentry, and now a kitchen. I would recommend this company because they honored the original contract, maintained communication, and made sure I was 100% satisfied with the work. As with any work like this, you need to be very clear about what you want, have exactly what you want in the contract, and don't sign anything unless you are completely satisfied. I was diligent which worked well with the various tradesmen for this project. Everyone I dealt with was nice and willing to help. We had some trouble communicating with the stainer. I requested that the inside of the old cabinets be sanded and stained to match the refaced fronts. This is an unusual request but I had it in the contract. The stainer refused to do it, so we had to get the GC involved. He solved the problem and I got the cabinets stained how I wanted and according to contract. After the job was completed, I found some areas that needed touch up. The company sent someone out in a very timely manner to make the improvements (after final payment was made). Again, I would recommend them. Be smart, get it in writing, and communicate. You'll end up with the kitchen of your dreams! read more
