I can't recommend I & E Painting based on our experience. We hired them to paint the entire interior of our home. Michael, our main point of contact, was kind and communicative throughout, and I did appreciate his effort to bring in an extra person for cleanup on the last day. That said, the project was quoted to take about a week but ended up taking three months. While I expected it to go longer than a week due to substantial wallpaper removal and wall prep, three months was far beyond what they initially told us. As our move-in date approached, the crew rushed to finish, and the results showed. After moving in, we noticed many areas where fixtures, wall hooks, and other items were not removed before painting--some were painted or drywalled over entirely. They also did not use the correct sheens of paint we requested, which was frustrating given how clear we were about our preferences. On top of that, there were numerous careless mistakes and sloppy details that make the finished product look unprofessional. Unfortunately, despite Michael's kindness, the quality and timeliness of the work fell far short of expectations. read more

My wife and I remodeled her mother's home. We did a complete makeover. New wood floors, repaint every inch of the home, change the color of the cabinets, replace the sink, new counter tops (which he extended so we can add 3 Stoll's now), and took out the Vinyl from the rest room and added tiles. Michael and his team knocked it out within 2 weeks despite the few days of bad weather. Michael is very professional. We had purchased a home in Torrance, and were on a tight time line to have the interior of the house painted before moving in. I made an appointment with them for a Wednesday and they messaged me that day saying they couldn't make it so we rescheduled for the following day (Thursday). On Thursday, I sent them my phone number and they "read" my message, but never showed up to the appointment, sent me a message, or called me. I called this company after reading a handful of positive reviews: The painting process takes around 6-days to complete. Their painting service includes: 1) Pressure wash the entire home & garage 2) Repair all minor cracks 3) Fix missing stucco 4) Sand all eaves 5) Sand down all wood window frames ( It's Basic sanding NOT fine sanding, that would cost extra ) The job they did felt more like a restoration than just a paint job! My ONLY compliant would be that they need to do a better job cleaning up at the end of the day before they leave. On average, I spent an hour sweeping and picking up small pieces of work trash all over my property, however, for their amazing prices it was all worth it :) They have affordable prices, ( roughly $4,800 to paint most homes ) accept credit cards and even have a pay-as-you-go system. read more

Michael at I&E did a great job on my bathroom, which was in rough shape. It needed lots of patching, plastering, smoothing and sanding from years of neglect, wallpaper removal, and leak damage from the previous owner. My parents hired Michael and his team to skim coat their ceiling and repaint the inside of their entire house after having asbestos removed. Afterwards, my workplace also hired him to bullnose some pillars, paint each room in the building and the entire lobby and common area, the office shelves and all the doors. He supplied the materials. Michael was great at communicating with me at all times so I always knew what was going on. His team is on time and never kept me waiting, and in fact, we're quite patient when I was the one running late. In terms of timeframe, he always met the deadline even when it was tight. For pricing, he's very fair and it justifies the work that he puts into the projects that we've hired him for. He preps by taping and covering the flooring, and he makes sure to prime before painting if there's prior darker color to cover. For my parents' house, there were a some outlet and switch plates that he removed and forgot to reinstall after removal as well as some areas that needed retouching, but as soon as I told him about it, he made sure to make an appointment to return to fix the issues. For my work place, there were a few details that needed fixing that we took care of since it was not a big deal. Overall, we were happy with the results for the price we paid. And if we ever needed anything painted again, we would definitely reach out to Michael again. read more

The kitchen was sprayed and they sprayed right over the switches and switch plates. that was only two switches though and the rest of the place looks wonderful. We asked Michael of I & E Painting for a quotation to paint the interior of our house. He gave us a professional written estimate with copies we could keep for our review. He said he was experienced and his work truly showed it. First thing he did was completely cover our brand new wood floors to avoid any paint from dripping on them. He removed all of our fixtures from the ceiling as we were going to replace them. He carefully placed them in our garage. He painted our ceilings and crown molding, kitchen walls cabinets and closets and his trim work was excellent. It was obvious to us he really knows what he is doing. If we had a question about something, Michael took the time to explain and satisfy any concerns. There was some leftover paint so Michael labeled it all and placed it neatly in our garage for us. I was recommended I&E Painting by our Realator who specializes in luxury and standard homes. Absolutely raved about his attention to detail, customer satisfaction and knowledge of what is needed to complete a job to the highest of standards. Was very polite, courteous and always reassured us that if anything needed to be changed or sampled he would help us without question. After completing the inside old our home, scraping popcorn ceilings and fixing cracks and uneven texture on our walls.
