So what did I do? I paid it and had it done (as a responsible car-owner). My fiance came in for an oil change-- and you'd never guess-- HIS car also needed a new plug gasket for $900. He declined. Neither of these experiences were enough for me to post this review-- but last week the AC went out in my car. I found a reliable auto company to give me an estimate to repair. Turns out I needed a new compressor-- the other company's estimate was $1499. I brought my car here for the second opinion. I called before coming and they told me they would give me an estimate free of charge-- mind you it also says on the front door they offer free AC Inspections and free estimates. They raised my car and spent about 10-15 minutes checking it out and then dropped the hammer. The compressor was shot (same diagnosis as the 1st company) which was what I was expecting. The cost to repair?? $4200!! I told them that was way too much and they explained this was the OEM price and they needed to use OEM to give the best repair. When they saw me ready to walk, they offered the repair with non OEM parts and that would be $2000. Still being 25% more than the other quote I opted to not have the service done there. They worked up my paper estimate and told me my balance was $89.99. Like wtf? I told them I was told the diagnostic would be free-- and it's literally advertised on their front door as free. Needless to say, they waived the fee, and I had my compressor completed by the other guys for $1499. Lesson learned.

There is a fee if you're using a debit/credit card. It was done in a very timely manner although there was a couple people in front of us and having two vehicle smog checks done we were in and out within an hour. NOW... never in my life getting a smog check has the place done any type of other Inspection. At first I was grateful. Then I was told that I would immediately need work on my motor mounts. I was told that for just over $1500 they would take care of this for me. They marked this as "urgent" on my paperwork and explained it as such. When I got back into my vehicle, I realize there was not a noise to be heard and generally with motor mounts, you hear some type of rattle or something inside of the cab. I took my vehicle immediately for a second opinion, and they advised there was absolutely nothing wrong with my motor mounts! I AM NOT ONLY DISGUSTED, BUT SUPER DISAPPOINTED IN PERFECT AUTO. I brought it in to get it inspected by another auto shop and was told the differential was bone dry and missing the drain plug. After towing my vehicle to USA auto I was informed that they would not take responsibility for the damages. My vehicle was running perfectly fine before taking it in and after they serviced my vehicle my differential was ruin. I would not recommend USA auto to anyone.
