Went in for a diagnostic, and I knew it was a difficult issue that would likely require some additional time. I specifically told them that I wanted to be contacted and have any additional costs approved by me before proceeding with any work. Unfortunately, that never happened. I ended up paying $800 for the diagnostic, only to be told that the issue was no surprise it would cost around $9,000 to repair. After getting my vehicle back, I noticed that se veral fuse box/engine bay cover panels were missing. I called the shop and asked if they had them, but they said they did not. I politely asked them to review their security cameras, as I was certain the panels were there when I dropped the vehicle off, and I knew this was an area they had inspected. They initially said they would check the cameras. Since then, I've been getting the runaround. They now claim they spoke with the mechanic, who supposedly said the panels were already missing. At this point, it's not even about the panels it's about the lack of accountability and customer service. Needless to say, I will never be returning to this shop, and I would strongly recommend others think twice before trusting them with their vehicle. read more

I can understand rates going up. But to get conflicting info right there at the shop. The coupon was on the web site and they said they wouldn't honor it. Ok. That's fine. The woman at the front desk gave me a price of $14.99. But then walked away. Came back with either the owner or manager, not sure and he said no it would be $19.99. I did end up going through my bank which I got the $10 back because they said false advertising. Now for the worse part. I got a response from the shop today. Their response is as follows. WOW! I went to the one on Durango and I would like to give them zero stars! The guy that does the quotes he is a crook, and I believe this whole place is crooked, and I would love to sue them! I went in for a free air conditioning opinion, which it says they will look at your air conditioning for free. I told them that I had my Freon installed the weekend before, and it seemed like my air conditioning was only working on one side of my car. I did not ask them to do any work I just what was wrong and what is a quote? when I went in the air conditioning was working, at least on the right hand side and it's 100° outside. An hour and a half later they come out and tell me that I have all these things wrong and it was gonna be $2500. I let him talk. He talks like a crooked salesman. I told him he's out of his mind and there's no way I'm ready to do anything like that and I'm not gonna just make a move without getting a second opinion. Hold on I might be able to get a recycle part and it might be a lot less. Give me a minute. I was trying to walk out and they didn't have my car out yet then he comes running over and said we can do it for you for $1250. I said no thank you give me my car. Well, I have to wait for the mechanic it's still in there and he's got something attached to it and I could tell he's doing something to my car. I had to wait another 15 minutes before he was done and pulled my car out. I get ready to go and there's absolutely No cold air is blowing hot air. I told the guy to get the hell out of my car and he's never gonna touch it. I had just gone to another mechanic before and it was working and I had just gotten an oil change and they came up with all these items saying I needed all this other stuff it was gonna be like $5000. So now literally they owe me $125 for the work. I had already done last weekend to add the Freon. It was so hot outside. Of course I took my car right back to where I got my oil changed to some honest people and they found out that what they did was drain all my Freon out and they didn't even put the cap back on them where they did it because it was also making some clicking noise, and it never did before either. Came right at 8am on a Friday so I was literally the only person waiting to get a Smog Test, which was $9.99 (cheapest I have been able to find in the valley right now). Check in was easy and I asked to opt out of the free inspection and just get a smog test; the lady at the front said she made a note to the mechanics but stated they do free inspections so they are not liable for anything. Side note, I went to another USA Auto location on Flamingo and Jones, and they did the inspection and pressured me to get other car work done that I didn't need, and also I felt I was being misled as they suggested I change something that I know didn't need changing--hence why I opted out. It took 5 minutes for my smog check since I was the first customer that day. They have water in the waiting area and 8 chairs. There was also a rather strong smell of smoke, but thankfully I wasn't there long. read more

Worst service ever took my truck in to have the motor built took them three months to do it. They were trying to put an LKQ motor in it and three times. They got a bad motor after three months. I finally got my vehicle and the crank came back unbalanced so the harmonic balancer was just wobbling all over the place. They said if I wanted to balance the harmonic balancer, I would have to pay $800 plus the part. after spending $3700 for I decided not to do it instead I decided just to write this review. Please don't take your car to the Ford Apache and Tropicana They're acting like first and then they tell you to get the F off their property when you threaten to contact the district manager. And even the his name Michael proceeded to say that he was the district manager when I was already in contact with the district manager, Chad so once again don't take your car there they'll screw you up read all the reviews. I took my car in for an oil change and once it was completed, I noticed that my AI glasses were missing. I asked the technician Morris who was working on my car where my glasses were and I noticed that they were on the back of his neck. When I confronted him about it, he took them off and threw them behind a cooler. I told him that I saw him and asked him where he threw them. Then I proceeded to speak to the manager, and the manager advised me that he had to speak to his supervisor because he needed to review the cameras to confirm whether or not the technician had stole them, and I told the manager that I had already saw him with the glasses on, so of course it was him who took them out of the car and the manager handed me my glasses and he took me outside and he said that he would speak to the supervisor. I am highly disappointed that this happened since I have been to your shop multiple times, this is the shop that I normally come to for things that I need. Not sure I will be returning. Please be more aware so that this does not happen with your other customers. The manager mentioned this technician was new. read more

1st time I came in here, they fixed my shocks and found that my CV and brakes also needed replacement. Got a great deal for doing all the repairs at the same time. So when my A/C started acting up in the middle of June, I didn't think twice about bringing the truck here again. Britney is very patient and professional in our transaction. Absolutely horrible, they changed out the clock spring for my audi said it would be 600$ for the part+labor which they explained would cover everything so i go with them for the job. After the job was done i picked my car up with more problems than i dropped it off with my steering wheel was tight felt like i was driving with no power steering and a ton of lights popped on my dashboard i let them the people at usa auto know and they said it was likely a angle sensor, we went back and forth i got irritated and left. Long story short took the car to audi, audi said they never reprogrammed the system which caused all the problems, called usa auto to figure something out the lady said it was my fault because i didn't pay for reprogramming after they said the 600$ would cover everything, disputed the service and will never go back read more

I would not recommend USA Auto service 3 even if they provided free service! I came intially for a smog test but they forced me into a oil change as well. Two weeks later I noticed oil leaks under my car. I looked at my dipstick and it was way over the top line! They overfilled the engine. The days prior I notice the smell of engine oil but disregarded. I went back in and they took out the excessive oil but I still noticed engine oil leaking! I went back again into the shop and shop manager and another tech saw my pcv valve and hose had oil dripping it from it! I went and got the OEM PCV valve and came back. But the shop manager said he would charge me for labor. They said they were not responsible for this. They excessive oil went into the pcv system and collected all the oil and made the pcv valve stuck. I had to go to another independent mechanic to reasonably replace the pcv valve. I still experience leaking afterwards. I went back to the independent mechanic and this time he noticed a coolant drain underneath my car slightly opened causing a slow coolant leak. Thankfully he closed it and that was the end of the leaks Someone opened this bolt underneath my car and didn't close all the way! I contacted the shop to tell them what I had done to resolve these matters. They told me to email their business. I received no contact! Someone at the shop also took my OEM tire wrench from my trunk and Bluetooth earbuds from my center console. read more

This place is something else. All those free things that they offer are never free! I decided to visit this location since I had a good experience at the Purrfect Auto in my area. I wish I would have read the reviews first!! I brought my car in because engine light was on and they told me that to VVT's were needed I would cost me about $700. I explained to them that my oil and the pan are brand new and we're just replaced recently. The oil was also changed a few months ago so I certainly didn't need another oil change like they claimed. I ended up paying them the $50 for the diagnostic even though they didn't know what the hell they were talking about. According to the mechanic looked at my vehicle, even after they would replace the VVt's they couldn't insure me that the check engine light would go off and I could incur even additional expenses. WTF so I came in for a diagnostic test that tells you exactly what's wrong with the vehicle and you don't know what the f*** is wrong with the vehicle??? Makes sense! Since I was ticked I had to pay them the $50, I figured I might as well check in and get the free oil change as indicated all over the waiting area. That's when the BS started about how that was available for my next visit. My next visit! Who in their right mind would ever come back to this hell hole? This place is just a bait and switch. First off, came to get a smog check and was helped at the desk then waited 30 minutes until someone finally looked at the car. Keep in mind before this my car was running 100% fine! They took the car somewhere then 10 minutes later the manager came into the lobby and told me my cars alternator needs replacing and that my car no longer runs. Then quoted me $850 to replace the alternator but I decided not to proceed as I was going to go with another mechanic but they still tried to push me to get THEIR service. At this point my car no longer runs unless it's jumped but because apparently I denied his service and refused his ridiculous quote, the manager refused to help jump my car IN FRONT of their shop forcing me to Uber BACK home and grab my gfs car to jump it.
