Had my eyebrows done here for the first time. I'm not very satisfied. I won't be going back but I do wish that they would be a little bit more detailed on their threading. I had hairs here and there on my eyebrows even after I told her where they were at. They did attempt to do a better clean up but they didn't target the area I had mentioned to them where the hairs were. All she kept saying was that the thread isn't getting them... maybe tweezing would help. So I just had to simply do it myself at home which I don't mind but I am paying for a service. read more

My first time getting an eyelash perm and I love it. Purvi explained the process and was very gentle and calming. I was comfortable and relaxed the whole 40 mins. Beforehand, she also threaded my eyebrows and gave me exactly what I wanted. I was in the salon about an hour and was pleased to see all clients be greeted n treated like family. I had my eyelashes permed, and was amazed at how great they looked! It was my first time having this done, so I didn't really know what to expect. Purvi took the time to explain the process before starting, and then told me the steps as they were happening. She said the results would last from 2-4 months, depending on eye make-up use and removal, and other factors. I was really hoping for 4 months, but I only got 2. This place doesn't even deserve one star. This was my first time I visiting this place so I specifically told the lady to have a simple eyebrow cleanup and wax and NOT touch on the thin eyebrows I already have. Still she managed to wax half my eyebrows off and waxed my lip up on my cheek and down in my chin though I specifically told her only on the upper lip! The people working there said it didn't look bad but it looked terrible and my face broke out really bad the next day. I left the place crying and will never go back. I advise you all to stay away, it's better to pay those few extra dollars somewhere else. read more

This place is amazing! I love it, I wouldn't trust my face to any other place. The staff there is wonderful and welcoming. They do every thing from traditional eyebrow threading to modern facials. They also have henna tattoo artists and a wide variety of designs to choose from. They are ridiculously good at what they do and know how to make your face look its best. The lady that does the eyelash perm is unhelpful. I walk in and I'm interested in doing a perm but I had a nail appointment so I was trying to schedule something next day. The lady apparently only does mornings ( and I work in the mornings) or today so she basically said no. I really wanted my lashes done so I rescheduled my nail appointment and was racing back letting her know I can actually come in today and the lady on the phone said yes, then she said hold one, spoke in Urdu to the other lady and said sorry, she wants to leave early today now. Like how sad, I moved around my stuff to accommodate what they told me only for this lady to change her mind. Bad for business, bad first experience, wouldn't go back. read more

This review is soooo long overdue and so deserved ! I first met purvi and was introduced to i beauty line 10 years ago when it was still located on mountain & Philadelphia for their grand opening. I had never had my brows threaded needless to say after that I never waxed again ! Purvi and her sister are one of a kind they have watched me grow up from a girl to a woman. Doing my eyebrows from my high school prom all the way to my baby shower and wedding. She puts love and care into what she does. She has become someone that I genuinely love and adore. Never (even when busy) has she rushed my process to get me out of the chair. She asks about my family my kids my husband and even listens when I need to vent ! There have been times when I was flat broke and walked in just to get a hug and talk to her and she still did my brows and told me don't worry about it! She is far from greedy and gives back! I also get my underarm waxed at this location and it doesn't burn, also was cheaper than other places and the results were better! This eyebrow place is a chain I've noticed in some cities in California, but this is the location that I can't for my first time and it is one of the best places I have ever been. The price is affordable and there's even a deal on Yelp for a first time customer (which I totally used). The ladies in here are super friendly and took great care of me after I had explained I hadn't done this in a long time. I was in need of getting my eyebrows threaded but I didn't feel like going to the place I usually go to since it's out of my way. My friend told me about this place and i decided to check it out...i'm glad i did!! The place is nice and looks very clean. I was greeted immediately and was told to sign in. I waited less than five minutes before I was next. I sat down and the lady ( wish i would've gotten a name :/) threaded my eyebrows away. She was super fast and did a good job!! And to top it off, it was only $5 since it was my first time!! Woooo!! (Eyebrow threading is $8 for returning customers) It's also a beauty salon and they do henna tattoos! Went here on my lunch break yesterday, walked in said hello And was not greeted back. Although there was 3 ladies there, one was doing hair, one was doing waxing and the other was the mom of the lady that was waxing. I waited for about 15 minuets for a 5 minuet threading. Although I was not satisfied on the wait, the lady threaded my eyebrows fast, pain free and they looked good after! Gonna go back again one more time and see what happens. read more

I've been here 4-5 times but each visit was unsatisfying. They usually leave one of my eyebrows uneven or change the shape of my eyebrows to my dislike. The lack of stars goes to the employee/manager/or owner. She's extremely rude. I once came to get my eyebrows done and I assume they had a new hairdresser. It seemed as if it was her first day and the employee/owner was talking down to her because she didn't have any clients. It was honestly an issue that should've been discussed privately and not in front of the customers. I felt bad for the hairdresser. I got my eyebrows done here for the first time. I haven't gotten my eyebrows done on a while since I had my baby so I told her to be gentle. It hurt more than I remember and she made me bleed a good amount. I have scars to prove it. It's not my first time getting my eyebrows done after a long period of not getting them done and I usually tell them to be gentle and I've gone to places where they do it really good and it's less painful and they definitely did not make me bleed. Either way she then charged me first she said 8 dollars then she changed her mind and said 9. That's pretty expensive from what I remember. Not only did she give an A++ in hospitality, but my eyelashes stayed curled for 6 weeks! Which is amazing, I did not use mascara often which helped (because mascara weighs down the lashes) and the perm stayed in the whole time she said it would!
