Owner is friendly but is so SO rough. I always end up having to go home and pluck what was left behind which defeats the whole purpose of getting threaded to begin with. I have been searching for a new threading place for a while now because Kaya in chino is rude and also the place at the chino hills shoppes always cuts me. I almost gave up but I'm so happy I found this place!! I'm not sure if I am spelling her name right but Mehek is so sweet and a genuine humane being. I remember my first time coming it was so busy and she was the only one working so I did wait a long time, but while waiting I noticed her individual connection and relationship with each person. She really gets to know her customers. On top of all of that she threads very well. I feel almost no pain and she does a great job. I got my full face threaded and no cuts at all!! Decided to give this place a try based on reviews, and I thought it was a great sign when I walked in and it was busy but unfortunately I did not have a good experience. First off she's a little heavy handed, maybe that's just her style but I was sitting in the chair hoping I wasn't going to get cut. 2nd, I walked out with 1 eyebrow thinner than the other and 2 different shapes. When I looked in the mirror I was shocked but I didn't want to say anything because In reality there was nothing she could do to fix it other than to make my eyebrows even thinner which I did NOT want. Go shawty it's ya birthday....well today is but yesterday which is exactly why I needed to get these brows and lip in order!! My usual gal is off till the 7th but I could not be photo ready without these brows cleaned up!!! Based on previous reviews and the distance from my home I called the eyebrow gallery and asked to speak to Mehak. She answered as she is the owner. She was closing at 5, said she had no customers and I could come now and be served! Headed down and am extremely pleased! My eyebrows have been neglected thanks to COVID and I just couldn't celebrate my bday properly without giving them the attention they needed! I tried this place because it had amazing reviews! And since my current lady that does my brows out for the month I have decided to try this place. They are super friendly there. Being that no two Eyebrows are the same, we discussed what needed to grow in and what didn't. We agreed. But later once upon leaving I realized that she still had left a lot of hair in the middle. And there was no way that we are going to let that grow in ha ha ha. That is if I was going for the Frida look then it would've been on point! Kidding. It wasn't that bad but there was at least four hairs that definitely needed to be plucked. Not sure if it was because she had people waiting for her and maybe she was in a rush. Either way I was not completely satisfied. Maybe I'll try again in a few months but then again I already have my favorite lady I go to! read more

Unhappy with threading.. it was my first time there and I was greeted immediately. The girl was really nice and was looking forward to the experience. Unfortunately, she hurt me and my eyebrow lid bled (see pic). The next day the area hurt quite a bit. I also didn't like that she reshaped eyebrow when I just needed a little clean up. read more

We came in as a walk in and we were serviced immediately. The staff or owner, not sure, was very kind! We have been to another threading place and it was painful and the lady doing the threading did not say a word to us. This place was awesome! She exchanged casual conversation and was amazingly fast. Sooooo.... Went here with my friend because we were due for a threading and it's right next to her house. I read the reviews before we came and the majority claimed it was good. So we gave it a try. It's $7 for eyebrow threading, and the place looked fairly clean. We got there and put our names down and waited to be called. When the lady (never get her name) was ready, I went first. She asked if it was just a clean up and I said yes. I can sum up this threading experience in one word: OUCH. I've had my eyebrows threaded many times and none of them made me even flinch until this place. I even heard the thread break TWICE. That's never happened before in my prior experiences before coming to this place. She didn't even trim my eyebrows!! The end result: I got one super arched eyebrow with a slight point at the top and one not so arched eyebrow with no point at all and hairs sticking around all over the place. Also, and correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is that they're supposed to rub this thing on your eyebrows? Something to do with the pores? But she didn't rub anything at all. She was just like "ok" and that was my dismissal to get up so she could do the next person. I would definitely NOT come back here. I'd rather take the long drive to Thread a Brow in Brea where the girl actually sat me down and asked me what I wanted as she stared at my eyebrows to get a picture of what she was going to do.
