I had I Clean Carpets come to my property in August of 2016 for the first time. In August 2019 I decided to have my carpets cleaned again. Over those three years I didn't have anyone else clean my carpets. I didn't have to. I had kids, bikes and I don't know what other kinds of traffic come through this place and the carpets exactly the same. The parking lot has some cheap composite blacktop topping that sticks to shoes like sawdust to tape, and it gets all over the place. Luckily it vacuums right up, and this is after three years. I'd like to think it might be me using my shaving cream tactics to spot treat, but I'm guessing its whatever I Clean Carpets is doing. I almost canceled the August 2019 cleaning after I did a little vacuuming, but went through with it anyway, hoping that some preventive maintenance will last me another three years. I called this company and they were available the day of - let me tell you, this job was incredibly difficult! Robert had to run hose from my second story unit across a dog park to the back of the building!! It was crazy - he was AWESOME, I have never seen anyone work so hard and the results were amazing. Let's talk about DOG PEE - if you have this problem like I do, he is a miracle worker, so glad I found him. We could not be more pleased-only wish we had contacted Rob years ago. He called us back immediately and I hadn't even left him a message! He called us three times with updates on the day of arrival (today). He is extremely professional, took his time and was so pleasant to deal with. I can't tell you enough how happy I am with the carpet cleaning job Rob did yesterday at my home. We have had our carpets cleaned three other times since we moved in and NOTHING came even close to what they look like today. Rob told me they would look better than they did when we moved in and had them cleaned a couple of years ago and he was right!!! After reading reviews on this guy I was excited to get him to my place to do my sofa, chair and 2 bedrooms. I text him with a appt request for 2/15 - 2 weeks out, he text back that he was booked for 2 weeks...OK, I asked him when was his next opening? He text back he doesn't go to Glendale, he failed to even ask what part of Glendale I'm located in (43rd & Glendale is my location)...but the reviews from his customers include Peoria (north of me), Litchfield Park (west of me) and Surprise (waaaay west of me and hell everyone else for that matter), his description states Phoenix and the surrounding areas and apparently that's not the case. Call to confirm before you get your hopes up high like I did. He recommended I call Mr. Clean Carpet Care - dude has no reviews and cleans TEMPE and the surrounding areas - NOT GLENDALE. - He initially responded to my review with a different answer and now I just so happen to come across my review and see he edited it and is now denying our interaction happened altogether. Okay, so this is super late in coming but Rob was FANTASTIC. I had an extremely old, extremely temperamental, and decidedly incontinent cat who decided that my new $2,000 thick shag rug was the perfect litter box. I tried bleach, scrubbing it, everything, but eventually the smell just stayed and life gets busy so I stopped... For almost 9 months. Thankfully the floors were all tile so it didn't seep through the ground, but needless to say, that rug was a hot mess and I was moving in 3 months. I'd read all the great reviews on yelp so decided to give him a try despite being a college student and not the richest of girls. Not only did he give me a great deal, he re-scheduled and re-scheduled again as issues on my end came up, and we finallly set a date for a few days before moving out. This way, the cats wouldn't be around to mess it up and it would be nice and fresh-smelling for the movers. He came out and did his thing, and I'm not sure if you know this, but he'll take you out to show you exactly WHAT came out in the cleaning. You couldn't even see water, it was dark brown all the way through. DISGUSTING. Oh my goodness. So, anyway, the move came and I had fans blowing on it as directed, but because of how deep that rug was it didn't fully air out, and when it was rolled and stacked against a wall during the move, you could see urine LEAKING OUT. I texted Rob and wanted to see how much it would be to do a second treatment because the smell was even WORSE than before it all accumulated to one side and he said when and where and picked it up NO CHARGE. He picked up the rug, kept it at his house for days on end soaking it and re-soaking it, drying it out on his patio (This is a BIG rug), and finally returned it and it smells great! I put my nose right up to the side she used to pee in and I can't smell anything, and he left bottles both for odor *and* for pet stains. I can't recommend Rob enough. Written as a live blog 11:30 - Called Rob just before noon today begging to be squeezed in this week before a guest arrived. He gave me an option at 1:00 today but as that wouldn't work he gave me a 6/6:30 time slot for this evening. Perfect, just enough time for me to get home and move all the furniture out of the room. 5:30 - Get a call from Rob letting me know he is just a little behind but will still get to me tonight. Thanks for the heads up! 6:45 - Rob arrives and gets straight to it. Lets me know up front it will be $150 for the bedroom, living room and hallway. Wow, incredible price considering there are pet stains and years of ground in grunge and grime in this rental. Demonstrates the power of the pretreat and gives plenty of ribbing and jokes. 7:15 - Bedroom and hallway are knocked out and he is on to the real challenge, the living room. I've got a front row view as he powers through and reveals, yes it is white carpet underneath. So far, I am very impressed with both quality and speed. 7:45 - Rob is finished, packed up and on his way. I am impressed not only with his speed but also the quality. I never thought this carpet was remotely salvageable but he took this carpet 5 years back in time. When we need to do the rest of the rooms before we move out, I will not hesitate to call Rob. He had no problem and even put up these guards so that the hoses didn't scratch anything .. That kind of meticulous attention really goes a long way.. I can't speak highly enough about Rob. He is incredible! After losing my job a few years ago, I decided to rent out my house and live on my friend's couch rather than lose the house. I'm finally in a position to move back in. When I got the keys back, I was heartbroken at the complete and utter filth everywhere. The carpets looked gray instead of tan, with bright pink and yellow stains to boot. When Rob first walked in, he asked if the renters had pets, because he could smell something funky. I couldn't smell it, but that's probably because I don't do what Rob does every day. He pulled out his black light and I was flabbergasted at the urine spots that were EVERYWHERE! I'm not sure if the renter's dog every peed outside, because there were hundreds of urine spots in every single room. Nasty! There is an additional charge for pet treatment, but Rob never pressured me at all. He gave me some options, and I decided that it was worth the money to get it pet treated. I called Robert on Friday afternoon and he was out in Saturday morning. He called while en route with an ETA and arrived promptly on time. After assessing the situation he promptly began to work setting up protective guards to keep the wall corners and furnishings from getting damaged from the hoses. Robert spent an hour and a half cleaning two sectional sofas, and he kept me apprised of his progress along the way. Upon finishing Robert mentioned that he guarantees his work and if I had any issues after the sofas had dried to call him and he would come back out at no charge. He said he could drop by that evening, but we schedule for the weekend (Saturday) instead. He called to let me know his ETA that day. He was on-time. Awesome, awesome, awesome! First of all, I don't just live in Maricopa...I live WAY out at a pretty far point in Maricopa. But, he came with no complaints and no extra charges. Second, he did such an incredibly thorough job on my cat pee stained carpets that they look amazing. He went over each inch several times and even got down on his hands and knees occasionally to check the smell. He also did a loveseat that was covered in cat hair and it looks brand new. Third, he was so reasonably priced that I feel he may have undercharged and I feel a little guilty with as much work as he did. Bonus: left a bottle of spot cleaner and shoe coverings to protect the floor while it dries. We've used two other companies before and were left with "crunchy" carpets afterwards or just sub par results that left me feeling like I could've done a better job myself with one of those rentals from the grocery store.
